You could clean these up from here nicely. Here is a great set of carriage lantern style wall lights. I am going to include a 5th for parts. The canopy bell is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 9 inches, they are about 9 1/2 inches top to bottom with the XE-40s(with the E-25s they are 8 1/2 out and 9 top to bottom) They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are NOS Circle F porcelain fat boys Easy installation ready, the mounting hardware has been upgraded with ground. Look closely at the pictures, there are minor dings and blemishes which can be turned to the bottom behind the shades-these are not new. Set of three wall sconces. These were early electric and the shade holder shows dates from the 1890's. One of the three has be refinished and rewired. All ready to go! Two of them need some polishing. The only thing I see missing are the set screws for two shade holders. The conical wall mount is 5 inches in diameter and the distance from the wall is 10 1/2 inches.

For sale is a beautiful pair of antique brass candle sconces with a rich green patina in some of the crevices. They weigh 234 grams each and mount with four screws. They protrude 9" from the wall and can swing freely on their hinges. The mount itself is 3.25" tall and wide. Each sconce will accept a candle up to 1" diameter and has a screw to hold smaller candles securely. Inside of mount is stamped CM 741.

These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. Simple tubular brass arms terminate with an keyless antique sockets. Sockets have been rewired with UL approved 18/2 wire and new cardboard insulators. Each socket utilizes antique UNO style marked 2 1/4" shade holders marked USA around the perimeter. Etched glass shades feature a clear greek key design around the perimeter. One shade does have two small chips on the bottom opening, see image 8. One of the four shades also has a purple tint to it. It is subtle, but worth mentioning. It is the shade on the far left in images 1, 5, 6, and 7. Two of the sconces to have some splits in the perimeter of the canopy. They are on the part of the fixture that is common with the wall. Antique and original pair of Art Nouveau brass piano candle sconces. Or wall sconces. These sconces swivel on the piece that mounts to the wall. The y both have hard to read marks on the back- looks like DEP.MUSTER. Each scon ce stands out from the wall about 9 3/4 inches(24.8 cm) The flat piece that mounts to the wall measures about 4 3/4 inches(12.1 cm) top to bottom and 2 3/4 inches(7 cm) across at the widest point. Some points on condition: the pins on which these sconces swivel are different and likely not original. Here is a great pair of antique/vintage wall sconces, each one in the shape of a Temple Menorah with 7 arms, they would look amazing on any wall, the wiring is original so i would have it checked with an electrition, but it is all there, all original. i did not polish the brass so it is in old patina finish. The menorah part is all brass, the backplate is metal that has been gilded. the turn on and off switch is on the back plate and there are two holes for mounting to the wall. the wiring, like i said is all there from all 7 lights to the back. the pair are big measuring 14 3/4 inches long and 11 inches wide at the widest point.the sconces the backplate measures 5" round and are 6.5 inches deep, that means when mounted on the wall they protrude 6.5 inches from the wall. great for lighting a special spot. And with 7 small candelabra ... morebulbs, you will have a great look on the wall. they have an old look. With nice detailing on the front the brass is worn as is the back plate, you can polish up or use as they are. the candlestick parts are covered with white candle covers, and all the insides are there. i have not lit them, i would check with electrition or good handy man before using them. they are as found in an estate. They were stored in the attic for many years, ok the history of them is this, one member of the family said they were in their grandmother's home in the study over the grandfather's desk area, and that they were there for over 80 years, the other family member said that the family story was that they belonged to an older family relative who was a Rabbi and very learned, and he gave them to the grandfather, that is all I know about them, I purchased them a number of years ago and have stored them but never used them. so here they are to sell and find a new home. if you have any other questions email them to me before bidding. thanks so much. For sale are 5 Antique Wall Sconces or Sconce Back Plates. I believe a fixture would have come through the open hole in the center. Plates have rotary switches. Two are missing the switch knob. For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed. Pair ANTIQUE SOLID BRASS CANDLE WALL SCONCES Ornate Rococo Design Unique
This auction is for a pair of antique solid brass candle wall sconces. That hold 3 candles each. Each candle is placed in the"bud" of a stylized open flower. And each candle holder is threaded and can be unscrewed. The middle holder on each sconce is slightly askew, which was part of the original manufacture. Each sconce is quite solid, and no part can be easily bent. Each is 17" high and 14" wide, and extends 4" from the wall. In the close-up photo of the back, the screws holding the arms can be seen, as well as the metal hook from which each hangs. My late husband bought these wall sconces at a Vermont antique shop in the mid-1940's. They were authenticated at that time as having been made in the early 1900's. He used them at one time. So there is some candle residue from use years ago. However, they have ... morebeen unused and packed in a carton for the last 45 years. Neither has ever been polished, and both retain their patina. This pair of sconces was very recently appraised for $450-$600, by the fine arts director at an auction house. I can only ship within the US(because of their weight) The winning bidder pays only for the actual shipping costs.
