The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. Available here is an antique art deco light fixture. It has a beautiful skyscraper style milk glass shade. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It has a 6" fitter. The shade only stands approximately 11.5" tall and is approximately 12" across at its widest. The fixture looks to be brass and has been partially painted over. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE ANTIQUE ART DECO 5 ARM LARGE BRASS CUT GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. They are quite nice and have a ruffled top. The chandelier is very lovely and elegant. It is in very good condition ... morewith a beautifully aged patina. The wiring is cloth with some considerable wear. The chandelier measures 17" tall and 17" wide. The glass shades are 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide at the tops. They have a 1.5" fitter measurement. Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The light measures approx 10 inches(250mm) tall by 5 inches(125mm) in diameter. It is modeled as an inverted flame. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a beautiful decorative piece. Materials: The center bowl is made out of thick-walled. Molded glass and is partly clear polished and partly frosted. It shows a strictly geometrical reduced and outstanding leafs decor in its center- the border is adorned with clear glass bubbles. The chrome-plated metal fixture is still original from the time. The chandelier is equipped with two bulb sockets, so the center bowl becomes equally illuminated. ART DECO Chandelier 5 Slip Shades + Drop-In Bottom Light ANTIQUE Peachy Glass
IMMEDIATE– PROFESSIONALLY PACKED– FULLY INSURED- SHIPPING Buyer pays actual cost of fully insured shipping. Very safely packed. All Customs forms will state the actual selling price of items shipped internationally. A few short weeks ago. This very cool chandelier hung in a home near Cincinnati, but now it is here– selling on eBay. People’s lives change, sometimes beginning accidentally or ending unexpectedly. It is approximately 17” to 18” diameter. Being a five-shade fixture, one can measure it two or three different ways. It currently set up with a total drop of 16” when measured from the upper bell where the five chains meet, down to the bottom of the drop-in shade. Total drop from the ceiling is 27” but that is a meaningless measurement since links can be added or replaced at will. Even if you have a 24 foot ceiling in you breakfast ... morenook, all it takes is a trip to your local hardware store for chain and wire, and you can make it hang three feet above your table. The frame was painted brassy gold some years ago. And they did a great job. I’d say the fixture is spelter or some sort of strong metal other than brass or iron. That picture makes me wish I’d at least dusted it a little. See what I mean about the nice quality of the painted finish? The original wiring remains to the hub. But the wire from there up is of more recent vintage. It works. I’ve seen it all lit up. Notice a fragment of the maker’s label on top of the hub? I’ll bet I could find the name of the maker using that fragment. But I’m already so far behind there is little hope of every catching up. My yellow arrow points to a chip so shallow I can’t get a photo of it. It’s hidden anyway. There are also a few surface dings around the outer edges of the drop-in bottom shade. There again. The Chase Era; 1988 Chase Catalogs: 1934 and 1935; 1999 Chase Complete: Deco Specialties of the Chase Brass and Copper Co. 1999 1930's Lighting: Deco and Traditional by Chase; 2000 Chase Era: 1933 and 1942 Catalogs of the Chase Brass and Copper Co. 2001 This chandelier is. As is typical for Chase, beautifully made, heavy, and of the highest quality. There are two curious historical details. I have a 1937 Chase catalog with the chandelier pictured. But the finish is only offered as“weathered brass” or“pewter and gold” This chandelier is black. And there can be no doubt that the color is original. Also, the shades are different than those shown in the catalog. They are very similar and each features grape clusters and leaves. But the catalog shades are more overtly“colonial” in style, while the ones shown here are more 1930s streamlined. Note how the top edge is straight, and this nicely aligns with the horizontal lines of the brass-edged bobeches below(the catalog shades have a ruffled edge quite at odds with the fixture) Note, too, how the frosted scalloped edge at the top of the shades picks u

VTG ANTIQUE ART DECO 1930s 1940s GLASS CEILING FIXTURE 2 LIGHT CHANDELIER Description: This is a beautiful antique semi-flush mount light fixture in excellent condition. The glass shade measures 10" in diameter and other than a couple of small nicks on the top rim. Has no chips or cracks. The fixture hangs about 11" measuring from ceiling to finial. The white glaze looks super, with only a few small flea bites. The fixture takes 2 standard base bulbs and no max wattage is noted on the fixture. This is a hard-wired fixture and I've not been able to test it. It appears to have all original cloth insulated wiring. In good condition. R eplacing the electrical is at the descretion of the buyer. The decorative glass that extends from the canopy is beautiful. With no chips or cracks. The canopy's design matches the glass shade ... morebeautifully. Description: This beautiful chandelier has a thick glass shade. In a light pink color. The shade is textured all over and has a raised, clear pattern, a clear rim, and a clear bottom center. The glass center column has eight crystal prisms. Some of the brass metal components are new. All are finished in a dark antique patina. This light is equally beautiful when lit or unlit. This is a three-light fixture and has all new porcelain sockets and all new wiring. Accepts three standard size light bulbs. The light hangs down 18 inches to the bottom of the shade. The hang can be shortened to 15 inches if you let us know before shipment. The shade measures 14-1/4 inches wide. All of the glass is in FANTASTIC condition. With no chips or cracks. Molded glass and has a mostly frosted surface(with some clear polished elements in it) The center bowl is adorned with a strict geometrical flower pattern. The canopy is made out of solid bronze, the three chains are made out of solid brass. The chains have been renewed recently. The chandelier is equipped with three bulb sockets, so the center bowl becomes equally illuminated. The chandelier was most likely made by Degue, although it isn't signed, it has a model-number on the rim(no. 599) what is very typical for many Degue productions. VINTAGE ART DECO CEILING Lamp LIGHT CHANDELIER GORGEOUS PINK GLASS SHADE
The Soft Pink Shade is so pretty. Around the outside is a row of beaded clear glass The mid-section has tone on tone pink flower pattern with a large design of raised flowers with leaves in white and clear glass circling the shade. At the bottom is a row of clear petite glass beads above a drawn drape pattern that is above geometric flower that is finished with a gold tone finial. It's beautiful both day and night as the light filters through the soft pink shade. The chain is approximately 14 inches. The diameter of the shade is a large 14.5 inches. Total drop is approximately 28 inches. The gold tone on the chain and gold tone cap could be painted any color you choose as they do show aging. No chips, cracks in glass.
