10 Arm Brass Chandelier Vintage/Antique
Up for Auction Vintage/Antique 10 arm brass chandelier. It is missing one of the electrical covers. Some drywall/texture on item, arms are a little loose, there are holes for the crystals and an electrical sticker, the center decorative crystal holders has one loose one, some wear and tear due to age. I am not sure how old it is but the wiring is definitily old style. I have only given it a gently cleaning, I leave the rest up to the experts. Note the beautiful work on the chain. This is for a beautiful Antique Spanish/French Brass& Crystal 5 Arm Chandelier. With fleur de lis patterns throughout. It came from a Wisconsin Estate. It is marked and made in Spain. Overall, it is in Very Good Original Condition! There are no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina is very nice! There are 51 crystals, which will be removed and packed seperately. The chandelier weighs between 9 and 10 lbs. It measures about 20 1/2 inches tall(without the chain) and about 20 inches wide. There are a total of 6 chain lengths at 2 inches long each, so you could get another 12 inches of height. There is a matching ceiling canopy and ceiling connector. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! This auction if for a very beautiful. Ornate and well made vintage made in Spain brass and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is a three tier one. With crystal prisms hanging from all three layers and it has eight arms with eight lights(candles) The metal work is all solid brass and it is therefore very heavy. Without the prisms on. It weighs 20 pounds. The ornate brass canopy and chain are original to the chandelier and are matching all other scrolled work on the metal. The entire brass metal work on the chandelier is very intricately detailed. And the bottom is completed with a very ornate cap and finial which are again matching all the other scroll work on the fixture. The chandelier. As can be seen in our pictures is in perfect working condition and ready to hang. It was too large for the room displayed in, and has to be replaced with ... morea smaller one. The measurements without any crystals on are: 24" in diameter X 26" high. The original and existing chain is 18" The chandelier comes with 80 prisms all together and one round crystal ball for the bottom. This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. We are pleased to offer this fabulous chandelier! Dating to the Mid Century. This fixture features exceptional quality and is extremely heavy. It has a brilliant brass frame that features both straight lines as well as curves. There are four curved upper arms which connect to and support the fixture. The body of the chandlier feature 8 panel design. Brilliant brass separates the glass panels. The glass is very thick and is curved inward(concave) It is deeply etched/engraved on the top, down the sides, on the bottom with a linear, tri-cut design. The glass panels are held to the curved brass frame with a screw on their upper sections as well as their lower. The brass frame is accented on each panel with an acorn finial both on the upper and lower sections. The ornate center column is brass with an incised twist pattern. It is finished with ... morean acorn finial on the bottom. There are a total of 17 acorn finials on the fixture! There are eight arms which curve upward from the bottom of the fixture. Each arm houses a single bulb which are candlestick in design. The candle sleeve covers are also brass, not plastic. The fixture retains its original octagon brass ceiling canopy cover. This is an upper end fixture. The quality is superb and the chandelier is simply stunning! It is in very good condition with only minor signs of aging to the brass. The wiring is in very good condition and the fixture is ready to install. The chandelier is LARGE and measures 26" tall and is 17.75" in diameter. This is a fabulous antique chandelier dating from around 1920. It is made from solid brass and is an unusual multi-arm design with twenty upward curving arms or spokes. These are attractively designed and quite ornate. Each supporting a row of large hand cut iceberg crystals. The crystals are large and chunky with lead content so reflect the light superbly. At the base is a large diamond shape drop finial. They are all hand cut so no two will be identical. Looks stunning from every angle especially from beneath where it appears like a big ball of crystals! The central column tapers down and is an elegant design with almost art nouveau influences. We have a Wonderful Old Shabby Cottage 5-Arm Chandelier. Measure's. 24" diameter. 14" tall, with a additional 16" in chain. Arms project 10" out from center piece. The center piece that holds the arms. The arms, and the plate that goes on ceiling are metal. The pieces above and below are made of wood. At one time the wood piece's were White. This has all chipped off. The ceiling plate has Rust, and there paint loss on the arms(please see all photo's for condition) The old wiring is still attached but should be replaced. Very large 12 branch Estate Vintage or Antique chandelier in the French early 18th C style. Pictures show a bit"browner" than actual piece. I think its the lighting or my camera. Has very nice details and classical maiden head design. Dates to about the 20's-40's. Wiring looks newer. One recently sold on Ebay that was near identical(except only 8 light) was listed as 1930's(And sold for $6500 or best offer) so I'm unsure. Came from a large old house near Atlanta Ga. The wiring was tested and finctional on all 12 branches but this is sold as is due to shipping and buyer will need to accept responsibility for making sure wiring ... moreis to code and safe upon installation. Chandelier lights have bobeche cups that can be removed on each branch, and this could easily be made into candle burning. Very very heavy solid brass with patina, probably sealed with lacquer? Has a almost bronze finish, but probably just the brass mellowed with age. There is some extra pieces of chain included and currently it has approx 36" total of chain and cap. The chandelier is 23" Wide. It measures 32" tall, not including chain and cap parts. It is many cast brass construction which has various removable center parts and branches, around large screw core. The candle covers are okay but some have cracks or pieces missing and should be replaced to make it look perfect. The wiring to branches is on top of arms not inside like cheap hollow chandeliers. NO REPAIRS or SOLDER OR DAMAGE, EXCELLENT condition! Chandelier may be partially unscrewed in center to accomodate a smaller shipping size, so please be aware, though getting it ready for your room will take minimal reassembly, just simple attaching together again. VERY NICE Antique 5 arm crystal chandelier Ornate design of floral vines and flower petals which house the lights 5 arms with 2 lights on each Each flower petal has 4 hanging crystals(appears that one crystal is missing though) A couple of the larger crystals have cracks- believe these can be easily replaced Total number of crystals is 59(not sure if total should be 60 or more because the very top flower petal has holes.
