Here is a Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms. Each one of these has two arms on them with white candlecovers. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. It is in working condition but just needs cleaning, about 4 extra prisms and candle sleeves.It has 5 arms and measures 20" wide and 12" tall excluding the chain.It is made from a gold gilt metal and glass. It has bobeches on each arm which are 4" wide. With prisms attached. Total prisms are 26, it needs about 4 more and a center glass ball.The prisms are 3" long and are glass(1 prism is chipped) There are little glass flower rosettes throughout the chandelier which at one time probably had glass bead chain attached. This auction if for a very beautiful. Ornate and well made vintage made in Spain brass and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is a three tier one. With crystal prisms hanging from all three layers and it has eight arms with eight lights(candles) The metal work is all solid brass and it is therefore very heavy. Without the prisms on. It weighs 20 pounds. The ornate brass canopy and chain are original to the chandelier and are matching all other scrolled work on the metal. The entire brass metal work on the chandelier is very intricately detailed. And the bottom is completed with a very ornate cap and finial which are again matching all the other scroll work on the fixture. The chandelier. As can be seen in our pictures is in perfect working condition and ready to hang. It was too large for the room displayed in, and has to be replaced with ... morea smaller one. The measurements without any crystals on are: 24" in diameter X 26" high. The original and existing chain is 18" The chandelier comes with 80 prisms all together and one round crystal ball for the bottom. BACK STORY When I acquired the chandelier one of the glass bobeches(the bowls under the candles) was broken. No problem. I thought. While the bobeches are distinctive, I felt I could find another one in time. I did, but it had pins for five crystals drops while the intact bobeches have four pins. Hum. An arduous search never revealed 4-pin bobeches of the same distinctive style. Only 5-pin. So, I had no choice but to replace all the bobeches with the 5-pin version. OK! But…I could not find a source for the petite crystals drops(I now needed five more) Hum. Luckily, in my vast storage vaults I found exactly five drops of just the right size and style. Yea!
