Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. In working order and in good condition with some minor oxidation. It has an approximate 123" long cord with an electrical tape repair. I believe the glass globe is a replacement because it is an old Hazel Atlas glass jar.

Vintage ANTIQUE Moorish TURKISH HANGING BRASS Light/LAMP Jeweled Fixture RARE
Extremely rare. 1900's- 1950's antique hanging brass lamp from the Turkey/Morroco area that has a Moorish/ Muslim/ Islamic influence from the research I have done. This is being sold for the ORIGINAL OWNER who shipped this back from Turkey during his military deployment in Instanbul in the early 1950's and has kept it in beautiful condition ever since. It is from a super clean, non smoking household. This is an extremely RARE piece, especially in this condition. Both lights work(there are 2 bulbs total inside the lamp) and the wire is in pristine condition. This lamp is extremely colorful with blue, green, purple and orange jewels with heart cut out patterns in the metal and transmits a fabulous lighting effect when it's on. One of the large jewels is not completely flush with the metal, but none of the jewels are missing ... moreand they all appear to be original. A couple of the smaller jewels are not perfect and have small sratches, the brass is tarnished a bit and there are a few flaws in the brass that you can't see in the pics, but overall it's just spectacular. It is wired and has the original chain attached to hang it, so all you have to do is plug it in. THIS LAMP IS QUITE LARGE AND MEASURES APPROX. 18 INCHES FROM THE TOP METAL LOOP TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FINIAL. THE TWO LARGES GLOBES ARE APPROXIMATELY 9 1/2 INCHES ACROSS. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND. Antique B&H Victorian Hanging Oil Lamp Light Parlor Hand Painted Shade Prisms
Up for auction is a very nice B&H Victorian Parlor or Library Hanging Oil Lamp with hand painted shade and pull down mechanism. The color on this shade is a very beautiful blue/green with rose motif. I have purposely left the brass unpolished as the buyer may want to leave the patina. I am not sure if all the parts which usually come with this brand and style of light are all present. I have tried to take adequate photos but if you require more or additional explanation. Please feel free to message me. It is up to the buyer to know whether the light is complete. I know that it hangs there and lights up and does a great job of looking gorgeous. Beyond that there are a couple issues which I will let you know about. I noticed the pull down weight extension mechanism tends to let the light"droop" I'm sure this is just a matter ... moreof some type of adjustment and is not serious. The ring between the mechanism and the lamp does not want to seem to balance so it is horizontal. Since I do not usually deal in these, I'm not sure what this needs to make it straight. May also be something very simple. The actual oil lamp is a hobnail reproduction. There may be something more suitable out there that should go with this fixture. The shade has an irregular flat spot around the large rim which you can see in the photos. This does not affect it being able to fit in the ring and it is not visible unless it is removed from the ring. There are no cracks or chips in the shade but some of the gold paint has worn off a bit. All the prisms appear to be present but they could use a good polishing. This lamp will be insured by the buyer for shipment and will be packaged meticulously.

Needs some parts but the metal work is as ornate and fancy as it gets. It needs a shade with a 14" fitter. I think the one brass part you see on the table is the smoke cap that hangs below the motor. No chimney or wick. Missing a few nuts. The motor mechanism for raising and lowering works good with a good strong spring. The only place I see it signed is on the burner nob marked Made in America Patent pending or Apd For-I forget which and have it packed. Hand painting is nice. No chips or cracks to the glass. None of the metal work is twisted or broken. I didn't attempt to shine anything. I believe the age is 1870's to 1880's. I have disassembled it some for shipping to keep the metal work from getting twisted and the motor and the burner assembly with font are both individually boxed with everything being in a larger box ... morethat gets charged dimensional weight. Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The light measures approx 10 inches(250mm) tall by 5 inches(125mm) in diameter. It is modeled as an inverted flame. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a beautiful decorative piece. Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. Vintage CEILING HANGING LAMP Ornate Brass Porcelain Iron 4 Light elect antique
Here is a nice vintage hanging light. Nice art deco. It holds 4 bulbs. The center bulb is a large size porcelain socket. The three arms take standard size bulbs. The body is made of iron. The arms are made of nice decorative brass. About 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I do not know exactly how old it is but it is an old one. It has aging and wear with some stray paint on the brass. Paint is peeling on the iron body, it is still very nice. It has socket recepticles but will need to be rewired if you intend to use it. Sold as-is, not tested for working condition, wiring is old. The shade measures 6 ¾” square by 10 ¼” tall. Including the brass font holder and pull down handle the measurement is 13 ¾” tall and the overall length to the 5 ¼” diameter ceiling cap is 5 14” This hanging kerosene lamp fixture is perfect and has never been electrified. The kerosene font is just missing. When you pull down on the handle the font holder the shade travels upwards. The frosted glass is old. But a replacement. There are 25 perfect glass cabochon jewels on the sides each measuring 1” in diameter. All you need to do is drop a cord and light bulb into the center of this shade and you will be able to use it without altering the lamp itself. Antique Vintage Light Fixture Gas And Electric Hanging Fixture No Shades
Here is a great old gas/electric combo fixture. And all of the gas plumbing appears to be intact. The finish is worn over the entire piece, all components except for the gas plumbing are brass. The gas valves move freely, though there is no wiring at the moment. One of the sockets is frozen, so the pull chain doesn't move. A complete rewire is needed anyway, so all of the issues can be addressed at that time. There are no shades included. And there are 2 fitter screws that are missing. The fitter size is 2 1/4" for the electric, and 1 1/2" for the gas shades. The finial appears to be a replacement(see pics) There is a nipple at the end for mounting/gas connect. But no other bracketry. There is some paint on the canopy as well(see pics) This will be partially disassembled for shipment. The lamp itself is a brass frame with brass chains on two sides suspending the(very heavy! crystal. The milk glass globe sits atop the frame. With a brass crown to adorn the top of the globe. This is a wonderful vintage church consecrated fixture. It features a Celtic possibly Canterbury cross and a reticulated shade. It has diffusing blades for softening the light. It has its original ceiling cap. It measures not including the chain. from the top of the Cross to the bottom of the shade 20" and is 16" in diameter. The wiring looks good.
