White brand antique Treadle Sewing Machine. Last Patent Date listed on the machine is March 11. 1890. It has the"kit" with all the different feet/tools necessary for sewing along with a tube of needles. The outside of the cabinet is painted brown. We were always going to strip it to re-finish but never got the time, and now we need to make room for other furniture. The machine works as in when you use the pedal. The needle goes up and down. I apologize- I haven't sewn since I was very young.I cannot figure out how to thread the machine to see if it sews on fabric. If this is any indication, there are fabric scraps that have been sewn on in a cabinet drawer. Local pick up only. Please. We do not have a way to ship this. Thanks for looking! Antique White Sewing Machine E-6354 Made in Japan This machine does work. The belt is not the original belt. The current belt seems loose and you may want to replace it. With that said. It seems a little tight and squeaky and need of some oil. This type of maintenence will need to be done before this machine is up and ready to sew. It does have a light on it and the switch does click when it is turned. The bulb will need to be replaced as well. I have cleaned this machine up some but, the buyer may want to do a more thorough cleaning. There is a foot pedal/knee pedal that comes with this machine. All the plugs and power cords look in good condition and I can not find and frays or damage. There are some hinges on this machine and this was on a sewing table at one time. All in all, this machine is absolutely gorgeous. The paint looks great ... moreand the metal/chrome pieces look fantastic for its age. I have done some research and I think that it was manufactured in 1912. There is a Singer machine out there that looks very similar except for the name. I do not have the owner's manual for this machine. There is not a bobbin, needle, or thread holder that goes on the top for me to include with this unit. I am NOT a sewing machine expert. Although. Antique White Rotary Treadle Sewing Machine and Cabinet, Working, S/N FR2207896
The cabinet is in very good shape but does have some scratches and wear spots. It measures 23 1/2" wide by 18" deep by 30 1/2" high when closed. It measures 47" wide and 29 3/4" high when fully opened. There are two drawers behind the left door. The cabinet is on wheels to make it easier to move. The machine has been tested and it does work. The most recent patent date listed on the machine is 1910. The serial number is FR2207896. Because of the serial number and the patent dates. I believe that the sewing machine was made in 1913 or 1914. A cable and pulley automatically lifts the sewing machine when you open the top and lowers it when you close the top(see the last picture. Included in the sale is a box of attachments and parts. A manual, plus an old scissors that was included with the machine. It comes with a very powerful motor. Working foot pedal, a completely full accessory box and a hard wooden case. The only thing this machine needs to complete the conversion is the belt. We have tested the motor and it runs great. The machine itself is in good condition for its age. Decals still look very nice. There are some surface scratches. American made, so made so made to last! While these show up online from time to time, it is extremely rare to find one with an original owner's manual and next to impossible to find one with it's original case. This item comes with both, and both are in very good condition, especially given their age. The latter has an alligator skin pattern, clear orange bakelite handle and storage compartment(see photo) Machine also comes with foot pedal switch and three bobbins. ANTIQUE WHITE SEWING MACHINE, ca. 1886, Treadle, Victorian Era, Original
This treadle sewing machine was manufactured by the White Sewing Machine Company around 1886. According to the serial number. The most recent patent date(seen on plate in photo) is 1881. This would be a good parts machine OR restoration project, as it is mostly complete. It only needs a shuttle(with bobbin) and needle in order to sew. The drawers are missing their knobs, but these turn up from time to time. The small"hooks" that helped secure the bonnet(lid cover) to the table top are also missing. However, there is still some of the gold stenciling visible on the ornate cast iron base(see photo) Also, there is some minor veneer damage(as seen in photo) Overall, it is in solid condition for its age! Offered for auction is this classic 1964 vintage white(actually very light green) SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221K7 sewing machine. Serial number EY844244. Cosmetic condition is excellent gently used with very light wear. If you look closely you will find a few tiny edge nicks to the paint, all shown in the photos. All decals are excellent except for the oval"S" which is partially missing, but replacements for these can be found online. We had this machine professionally serviced at a sewing machine center right before listing. It has been thoroughly cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted. The tension spring and the belt were replaced with new. The original cord has some minor damage that has been repaired with electrical tape. This gorgeous 221 runs ... moregreat and should be ready for many years of service. Included is the original hard case with the original working lock and key. The case has a few minor nicks and scrapes and could use a little cleaning, but it has no sign of mold and has no moldy or other offensive odors(neither does the machine.
