Antique Civil War Era, Home Shuttle Sewing Machine, By Johnson Clark& Co.
This is a rare cast iron Antique. Hand crank sewing machine made by Johnson Clark Co. It is all in original, unrepaired, untouched condition. Front plate says" Johnson Clark& Co. Manufactureres of the HOME SHUTTLE SEWING MACHINE" The back platform says"patented July 28, 1868" Has gold leaf scrolled painting along with two beautiful pink roses. There are no cracks or breaks, however it is missing the front platform piece as noted in photo#5. It is approximately 14" x 9 1/2" and weighs approximately 10 pounds. All pieces move freely and beautifully. This piece was found under the eves at my Grandmothers house and is believed to have always been in the family here in Maine. Antique Western Electric sewing machine w/ functional Hamilton Beach Home motor
Vintage antique western electric sewing machine. Overall the machine components are all here. The motor runs fine but does not completely engage the machine which is a bit stickly and would need work to refurbish. The base is oak and has some cracking. It does have the slid door compartment. For sale is a set of the Wooden Drawers with the holder from the left hand side of a New Home brand of Antique Treadle Sewing Machine. This holder mesures 18" from front to back. 5.5" across the widest part and is a total of 9.5 tall. Piece weighs 7 lbs. This set has lots of added details. There is the added metal across the front of the bottom of each drawer and the added carving on the outside left side of the drawers and the holder. I do not know the model number of this machine, but it is old enough that it has the long bullet style of thread holder. Drawers and holder are actually in very good condition, especially considering the machine is probably over 120 years old. I will also be listing the right hand side drawers and can combine shiping if any one wants both sets.

The embossed stamp in the lower left corner is dated 1869. The plate no. of the sewing machine is 940-4-79. Guaranteed original- from clean dry storage. Nothing is printed on the back. Shipping 2.30. Antique NEW HOME Cast Iron Treadle Sewing Machine Legs - Industrial-Table Base
For sale is a pair of side legs from a New Home brand of antique treadle sewing machine. This one was made in the late 1800's. The legs are cast iron with black enamel coating and Gold Paint on the"New Home" logos. This pair also has the original steel wheels. One of these wheels does not move very well. But the other three move smoothly. There is some rust along the bottom section- please see the pictures. Legs are 28.25" tall, 16.25" across the bottom and 13" across the top. ALSO included in the auction is the cross bar. The bar will make an 18.75" opening from one leg to the other when inserted used. The bolts that hold it to the legs move smoothly.

For sale is the Cast Iron foot treadle from an antique New Home treadle sewing machine. Most of the black enamel has been worn off of this piece over the decades. Also included will be the WOOD BAR that is attached at the bottom that would have activated the wheel. The last patent date on the machine itself is 1887. The"square" part of the foot base measures 12.25" by 10" Then there is the 4" arm sticking out from the bottom. Piece weighs almost 5 lbs.

Vintage NEW HOME Treadle Sewing Machine Attachments w/Orig METAL BOX - 1889
For sale is one of the metal boxes with attachments from a Hew Home brand of Treadle Sewing Machines. The sewing machine that was with this attachments box had a final patent date of 1889. It was the style of machine that has the bullet style of thread bobbins. This black and gold metal box measures 7 1/8" by 3" and is 2" tall. The box is in pretty good condition. With some chipping around the edges of the two ends and along the back at the hinges. The inside purple felt is also in pretty good condition- I dont actually see any wear spots or staining.

Offered this evening is an antique electric motor manufactured by Hamilton Beach during the late 1910's or early 1920's. This style electric motor was invented by F.J. Osius and patented on Sept 18. 1917. These motors were offered for sale with many intended uses.among them was sewing machines. Victrolas, fans, attaching to small lathes, grinding wheels and much more. They were also popular with watchmakers for polishing parts. Metal badge on the front reads: 17 Patent No. 1.240,802 Hamilton Beach Home Motor 115 Volts 70 Watts No. 2S 378494 B D.C. A.C. Up To 75 Cyc. Hamilton Beach Co. Racine, Wis Division Of Scovill Manufacturing Co. Made In U.S.A. The piece measures approximately 6" in length. 6" high and 4.5" ... moreacross.
