Up for bid is an assortment of vintage SINGER 66"Red Eye" sewing machine items. There is a SINGER 66 instruction manual. A needle and slide plate, a partial tube of grease in original box, a needle clamp and a front& side ornate cover plate. The plates need cleaned but a little WD40 will take care of that. 1908 SINGER RED EYE QUARTER SAWN OAK SEWING MACHINE CABINET DRAWER
1908 Singer Red eye sewing machine pull out drawer with applied carvings. The drawer only has the curved side piece on the right side.the left side is missing. In original finish. The drawer is in age appropriate condition.there are no nicks in the oak veneer, and carving is not broken or missing. Drawer measures with the one wing 22 1/2 inches by 22 inches deep. Singer ~ Flat Key for Antique Treadle Sewing Machine old Original red eye
Here is an original Singer Flat key. most Singers used a square ended key( i have one in another auction) but for a shorter amount of time they used this flat key so they are harder to find. the inside shape of the bow I'm told is used to set the needle. if you look in the keyhole of your machine& see a square shape you need a square key if you see a slot like the end of a flat screwdriver. This should work for you.there are a few trying to sell repos of these from stammped steel but I only sell originals. the originals have the beveled edge on the tip the repos do not. This is for one Singer red eye sewing machine head and attachments pictured.The patina shows alot of age and wear. The chrome on the hand wheel and foot have surface rust on them.The paint has some fading on it and an excessive amount of grime. Everything seems to move just fine and fairly smoothly. 1911 - Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Side Drawer 6 Model 66-16 Red Eye
SINGER TREADLE SEWING MACHINE DRAWERS- RED EYE MODEL 66-116 Up for auction are six drawers and the two internal drawer holders/ cabinets from a Model 66-16 Red Eye Singer Treadle Sewing Machine from 1911. The drawers are made of quartersawn oak. Both the front of the drawers and sides of the cabinets have carved decorative accents. The drawers measure approximately 11-5/8" deep by 4-3/8" wide. The cabinet portions that hold the drawers measure 14" deep by 5-1/2" wide and approximately 14-3/4" tall. One drawer is missing its circular center pull as shown in the fourth photo. Aside from this flaw. The wood has only a couple of minor dents/ dings, and contact paper has been applied to the interior of the drawers. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model 66 Red Eye - 1917
Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet with a 1917 model 66 head in it. In very nice shape for its age. All parts and wheels on the cast iron base move freely. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The mounting holes are 11 1/8" center to center(front to back) and 22 3/8" center to center(length wise) and stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. Treadle will be dismantled for shipping. The head is a model 66 and the serial number on the machine is G5546378. Most of the decals are crisp and full of color and others show wear. There is little rust on metal parts. I turn the balance wheel and the needle goes up and down with little effort. The head could use an oiling. Serviced Antique 1910 Singer 66 Red Eye Treadle Only Sewing Machine WORKS Video
This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 66-1 with Red Eye decals. This has the rear clamping foot. This is a treadle only machine. Which means there is no hub to mount a motor or handcrank. The bobbin winder has a special ribbed wheel that rides the treadle cord. It can only be mounted in a treadle cabinet. The machine also has a different spoked balance wheel. It has only 6 spokes compared to the normal 9 spokes. Serial number G57618* dates this machine to June 22. 1910. The last number on the serial number was removed for some reason a long time ago. It should read G followed by 6 numbers. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers ... moreof denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine seen in the video is NOT INCLUDED and is NOT FOR SALE. It is for demonstration purposes only. It comes with 2 bobbins. The bobbin winder has been tested and works. Overall. This machine has a semi-flat appearance with wear on the deck. The paint and decals on the deck have wear. There are some moderate scratches on deck. The front edge of the base is chipped and worn. The decals are good on the rest of the machine. The decals are slightly darker on the backside. All chrome pieces have an aged appearance. Some parts like balance wheel release knob and bobbin winder are darker than others. The nose and round plates are dark in the grooves. The round plate has a spot of rust. The bobbin and throat plates have scratches. The bobbin cover is dated 1903. There is no manual. This Antique Singer Sewing machine comes on its Original stand that supports the sewing machine and holds some sewing items. There are 2 small strips of black tape on the cords. I removed the black tape and the only reason it was placed there is to cover a wire that is showing. The cord and wires are all in tact and in working condition. There is no hand crank on the wheel. The light even works on this antique sewing machine. This same make and model sewing machine just sold on 11/19 for $192.50. The plug on the motor was removed for some reason but we tried it and it works fine. There is some wear or loss of the stenciling which you can see in the pictures but overall is in good condition. This listing offers a vintage Singer model 66 Red Eye sewing machine. The serial number is G9081806 which dates this to 1921. I am not a sewer. So I cannot state the ability of this unit to stitch. But all moving parts appear to move and turn very smoothly without any hitch or hesitation. As stated in condition description- The machine shows many scratches and signs of overall wear from many years of use. The wood work surface has significant wear. But is still solid. The cast iron treadle base is solid with no signs of breakage. Treadle works smoothly. Please see pictures as they are a part of the description. There is some minor rusting and corrosion. Etc. Meet"Laura" born January 16. 1911, who grew up to be a"Model" 15 Red Eye beauty, survived the Great Depression and two World Wars and is still going strong! Her Serial number is G9363263. As you can see in her performance video, she is still capable, at 102 years of age, of just about any task her new owner might ask of her. In the video I misspoke saying she was 98 years young; she quickly corrected me referencing her birth year of 1911. Laura comes with an assortment of original Singer attachments that I have no idea what they are all used for but the seamstress or quilter will know exactly how to use. An Early Singer"Red Eye" Portable Sewing Machine in very nice original condition. The serial number is G0910931. Which I believe dates it around 1910 or so. This machine is in WONDERFUL condition showing almost no wear on the decals at all! We gave it some oil and it is super free and loose. We haven't any other way of testing it. It even has the original locking key and a compartment for storage. This is a super nice machine all around! The decals are spectacular in color! The wood case is in nice condition as well. This is an Original Antique Singer 66-1 Treadle Sewing Machine Manual. Form 8755 Sept. 1920 on the front cover. This manual features the Singer 66 with Red Eye decals with the rear clamping foot. It is complete with no writing. The pages are slightly discolored. The right edge of the cover is missing a small piece. There is a small rip in that area up to page 10. The middle page is ripped loose. The binding of the cover has some wear and a couple kinks. The manual measures 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" Don't forget to follow"The Treasure Cellar" on facebook! Singer Red Eye in walnut treadle cabinet
Very nice Model 66 treadle with the ever-popular Red Eye decals. Manufactured October 5th. 1910 in Elizabethport, NJ This machine comes with a new treadle belt. And a bobbin. Machine has been completely cleaned. Oiled, and adjusted. It sews beautifully! The cabinet is walnut. Not the usual oak. It has been completely dismantled, and refinished. Two knobs were replaced, other than that, it's original. The cast iron is in great shape. Nice and shiny, though some places are worn. I would be more than happy to arrange for local pick-up. I am in SW WA state. Shipping will be handled with care. There will be four boxes total. Everything will be carefully packed. If you have no experience with assembling a treadle. Please let me know and I will include tons of pictures and lots of labels to help you figure out what goes where.

Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Red Eye Treadle Singer Sewing CABINET ONLY Very Nice
This auction is for a nice antique quarter sawn oak Singer sewing machine cabinet only. There is NO machine. This cabinet held a Singer Red Eye sewing machine which was dated 1919. There are six drawers. Three on each side and a center drawer in the middle. This cabinet comes with its original key which locks the center drawer and the two bottom drawers on each side of the cabinet. The cabinet is in nice condition. I have all of the original hardware/hinges/screws to attach the cabinet to you treadle base. The only flaws to mention is the finish is slightly rough in areas and there is roughness around where one of the hinges from the sewing machine screwed into the wood. Gorgeous Working 1923 Singer 66 Red Eye Sewing Machine, Cleaned In & Out & Oiled
This is a beautiful. Working heavy-duty 1923 Singer Model 66, also known as the“red eye” model because of its decals. The machine includes an external motor, adjustable sewing light, carrying case and speed control pedal. The serial number is G9924501. The machine is just in superb mechanical shape. It has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out and oiled with Nifty Stainless(lily white) sewing machine oil. All moving parts have been degreased. Cleaned, polished and lubed. This heavy-duty machine will sew even leather and canvas! It sews beautifully and has been adjusted to work smoothly and quietly. The light works and is adjustable. The exterior of the machine has been carefully cleaned and polished. There is some light wear. Including some tiny chips and areas of the decals that have gone to silver, but overall is in excellent condition ... morewith a beautiful shine. With the machine comes two laser-printed copies of manuals: one is a 59-page instruction manual. And the other is an 11-page manual on timing and adjusting the Model 66. The manuals will guide you through the process of threading the upper needle thread as well as filling the bobbin and selecting the correct needle and tension settings for the job, among many other things. Also included are 8 new old stock needles still in their packaging and 4 metal bobbins with thread. The external motor works excellently and appears to have been replaced. It was made in Japan. So was probably replaced in the 1970s The cords of the motor. Light and foot controller are in great condition with no cracks, cuts or damage, and the rubber coatings are very pliable. The carrying case is in excellent and sturdy condition with just a few spots of wear to the tweed trim. Mostly on the corners. You are bidding on a 1922 Singer Sewing Machine Model 66 Red Eye in very good condition. The machine is in good working order but it needs a new belt or the old one can have the ends reconnected. There are some small chips of black paint missing and it show some wear. These are consistent of a machine that my grand-mother purchased and it was moved many times. The cabinet(parlor style) is made of oak and has been professionally refinished 15-25 years ago. The pictures represent the actual item up for sale. As always. Description This beautiful machine was my Aunts until she could no longer sew. It was made in 1920 and she bought it that same year. The oak cabinet is in great shape especially considering the age. All of the wood motifs are in perfect condition.The machine is gorgeous and still works.so quiet. The belt snapped when I was sewing but easily replaceable. The machine comes with many accessories. It does come with the original manual that has aged to a parchment. It also comes with extra needles. It breaks my heart to part with this machine.I actually learned to sew on this and a featherweight.but we are moving to a smaller place. This auction is for a vintage 1922 Singer Sewing Machine Model 66 Red Eye. This sewing machine is in nice condition with just a few flaws. A tiny amount of rust, and a small amount of crazing. The motor on the sewing machine works, but the sewing machine needs a belt, so it can hook up to the motor. There is a small part that looks like it has been broken over time and reglued, shown in picture 8) There is a manual and other spare parts to the sewing machine also included in this auction.
