This machine has a serial number of ... moreJ578575- according to the Singer website. This machine was made in 1904. It is housed in the original wooden cabinet. The cabinet is a nice, warm dark brown wood, I believe it is walnut. It is a Parlor Style Cabinet- the machine glides straight down into the cabinet when you push the button, instead of folding down like other models. The cabinet has a line of drawers on one side- the other side has what looks like is an identical line of drawers, but this is really a door. When all closed up, this has the look of a wooden table or cabinet- none of the sewing machine is visible. The Machine itself is in very good shape- it is a Sphinx model. There is an old belt included and when you pump the treadle, the wheel spins freely and the needle goes up and down smoothly. The cabinet, when closed, measures 34 x 17 inches and is 29 inches tall. The cabinet has typical signs of wear and tear- this is 110 years old- but is in overall good condition. You can see in the photos that most of the drawer and door hardware pulls were removed at some point. The lower doors will need new hinges. Some wear, rings, and scratches on the finish, but the wood is in overall good shape. There is also a group of accessories included with this machine- some instruction booklets, needles, bobbins, etc. see photo for all that is included. This will make a wonderful restoration project! It is being sold in as-is condition. This classic machine is a wonderful and functional antique! Take a look at the photos and email if you have any questions. This is an Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Extension Leaf Table. This holds antique Singer models 15. 27 and VS2 with rectangular bases. If a model 15 is installed, the oil drip pan needs to be removed. This dates to 1892-1895. The table measures 44-1/4" x 16-1/2" when opened and 35" when folded down. The machine opening is 14-3/4" x 7" There are holes for the treadle cord. The bonnet hardware measures 9-1/4" apart at the rear and approx. 10-3/4" front to back. The wood has some dark areas and rings. The table edge was some wear and some small chips. The hinges are good. There are mounting holes for the frame. The holes are 11" from front to back and 20-1/2" apart side to side. There are holes for scrolled drawer to be mounted on either side. SINGER TREADLE SEWING MACHINE DRAWERS- RED EYE MODEL 66-116 Up for auction are six drawers and the two internal drawer holders/ cabinets from a Model 66-16 Red Eye Singer Treadle Sewing Machine from 1911. The drawers are made of quartersawn oak. Both the front of the drawers and sides of the cabinets have carved decorative accents. The drawers measure approximately 11-5/8" deep by 4-3/8" wide. The cabinet portions that hold the drawers measure 14" deep by 5-1/2" wide and approximately 14-3/4" tall. One drawer is missing its circular center pull as shown in the fourth photo. Rare 1910's Antique Singer Treadle Tiger Oak Sewing Machine 6 Drawers Cabinet. This was actually from my great grandmothers sewing machine. After she passed my uncle took the drawers and put them together with a board on top and bottom to make one piece. The boards are put on with simple nails and should be easy enough to get out if you wish to take them apart. It does have minor scratches and scuffs from age and wear. One of the bottom corners has a little more wear then the rest. The insides of the drawers are in good condition. The drawers slide in and out easily. This is tiger oak and is very solid. It is from a singer sewing machine. Which I believe my mother still has. It is heavy and weighs 21 pounds before packing. It is a beautiful piece! From my research I believe this is most likely to be a Model 24-1: The Decal Pattern is'floral' also called'small flowers' and/or'decal pattern#19' The Cloth Plate is'silver' the Tension is'manual' The operation is'treadle' and The Spool Pin is'right back' Most of the decals are in Excellent shape. The Cloth Plate is good. Not perfect, but good. It has some loss, scratches and wear. Not rusty. This machine is well over 100 years old and still sews very nicely. The veneer on the underside of the folding top on the cabinet will need some attantion and is peeling and has chips in it. 1891 Singer Fiddle Base Sewing Machine Coffin Top Treadle Cabinet Rare Combo This is a great antique 1891 Singer Fiddle base sewing machine with a Coffin top treadle cabinet. This is a rare combination each one is hard to find these days and with it being pre 1900 that makes it even more rare. This also has the original key to lock the coffin top as you can see from one of the pictures and the key works great. There are several accessories with this along with a wooden tube that has three needles in it. I have taken the maximum amount of pictures so you can see what this really looks like. The serial number is 10012747 which dates it at 1891. You will notice when looking at the serial number that the person at the Singer factory had the dye turned 180 degrees the wrong way when he stamped the the first number which is a 1 and corrected the ... morerest after noticing his mistake. The machine works and looks great for it's age and the cabinet looks good but does have some of the finish coming off on the top of the coffin cover. You can see there are a couple of places on the cabinet deck that are not perfect and refinishing the cabinet might be a project for you if you choose. The cast iron treadle frame works great and I have the original or a very old belt but it will need to be replaced because as they do one of the ends has broken off and it will need be replaced. Overall this is a great machine. Cabinet and frame but please keep in mind that it is used, over 120 years old so there will be scratches or smudges since it is very old. This is a set of vintage Singer Sewing Machine head pin hinges for cabinets. These are the 2 screw models. Includes the mounting screws. These hinges were used on almost all Singer machines over all the years Singer made cabinets. These were used on the treadle machines and the more modern style cabinets. They will fit any of them. These are in really nice condition and retain a nice antique copper finish. This pair came from a 1910 cabinet. Easy to replace on any cabinet. They measure 1 1/8" in diameter. These are the 2 screw models. Singer also did make 1 screw models which was used on many more machines. These 2 screw models are much more difficult to find and n such nice condition. SINGER sewing machine 101-04 iron 1926 potted motor library cabinet collectible
This auction is for an antique SINGER sewing machine and cabinet. This is an all original and complete machine model 101 machine# 04 cast iron not aluminum like the#11. It was made the last year they made these in 1926 with SN AA994841.It could be a nice machine and cabinet for the collector or better yet for the user who wants to have one of the best old machines made by Singer for keeping and using. It was the first direct drive gear model with a round potted motor so slight different than the classic 15/201 series and totally different in the thread drive system. It has a top loading bobbin and it is similar to the 400 or 500 series. It has a unique base oiling system there is 5 wicks that oil is suspended in and lubes the bearings as needed. It has a removable table top for getting into the drive mechanism if necessary made only on this ... moremodel by Singer I think. It has great chrome and the traditional gold decorations on the table and head. I did oil it but I was very surprised that it was smoother turning over the handwheel than any other older machine I have owned except for some Necchi. It is in its original Singer library table cabinet(top covers divide in the middle) which has an oak veneer finish and in good condition for its age. The cabinet has nice decorated straight legs not the bent St Ann style. It has a knee petal design with an old white ceramic resistor with original rubber power cord. The cabinet will come apart so will be less expensive to ship. A toggle switch was added to turn it on and off because I think it was designed to be plugged in and everything had power on it so that could be removed and it would be all original from what I can tell. I have the original manual( smells musty so I will copy it for a clean manual) Most of the chrome accessories ruffler, binder adj. hemmer, others. I didn't clean the machine up only oiled it and ran it so if you want to do the cleaning or restoration be my guest. I will consider the cleaning and polishing of the machine in another auction. This is a very wonderful Singer AK series Sewing Machine released in 1951. Here's the scoop. please look at photos. AK662912) The motor runs and all parts appear to move smoothly. The wires are a little worn. So if I were going to use it, I would replace those. Although the motor runs smoothly, it doesn't move quickly. it may just need serviced. The rubber gasket for the bobbin threader is broken. But easily replaced. The bobbin carriage(holder) is missing and of all the spare ones I have, none fit this machine. this is all that seems to be missing here. Again check pictures. it is really a beautiful antique if you want it just for show. This machine is for mounting in a cabinet- not designed for portable. But certainly could be. This is a Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Drawer for the Deco style cabinet No. 42. This is located on the left side of the cabinet. I have pictured an example of the cabinet and circled the drawer's location. I have also pictured a catch that flips up to remove the drawer. The drawer is solid and has scratches and wear on the front. The finish was brushed with a gloss poly some time ago. Brush marks are visible. The drawer has a built-in ink holder and pen tray. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet - 1924
Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet that had a 1924 model 66 head in it. In very nice shape for its age. All parts and wheels on the cast iron base move freely. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The cabinet stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. The cast iron base will be dismantled for shipping. The locks on the side drawers and center drawer are functional and open with the manufactured flat key provided. The entire cabinet was been refinished by the person I recovered it from. The table top measures approximately 17" W by 35 1/2"L. Offered here is an antique Singer sewing machine with 7 drawer cabinet. I checked Singer's website and according to the serial number.1908 was the year of manufacture. I know nothing about these,and don't know if it's working,so I'm selling this"as is" Because it is very large and heavy,I am listing it as"Pick Up Only" We are in Woodstock,NY,in Ulster County,Mid Hudson Valley.
