Description Antique Singer Sewing Machine Model 12. New Family Gilt and Mother of Pearl 1881 Fiddle Base Treadle What a gorgeous little Singer model#12. Born June 6th of 1881. It has all its mother of pearl inlay and most but not all of its guilt intact. What a great show piece. This is a working treadle with the original owner’s manual in delicate condition. A few needles,its boat shuttles, bobbin, and many attachments included. The hand wheel turns freely. The needle goes up and down smoothly. Both its boat shuttles are in good operating condition. It does make stitches. The base attachment hinges are present but not attached to their rivets. The drawers and lift extention are also in fantastic condition. Although not mint the treadle head is way above average for its 130+ years of age. The treadle cabinet is solid walnut(no veneer) It ... moreis intact. With no wormwood or other structural damage. There are only a few water marks a few edge dings, and a little darkening behind the machine from oiling and a couple other small mars. There is a water spot from someones glass as shown on both the coffin top and table top. The drawers and lift extention are also in wonderful condition. It displays well. The original rectangular coffin top also is in solid condition with only a small chip missing from the logo and on top rim. And a stain or two on top and a check in the top wood. The lock and lid hooks are present and intact. The treadle base still has much of the guilt showing on its emblems. It moves freely, and sports a wood pitman arm which functions well but is not perfect. This will make a great addition to any collection. This is a antique cast iron table with what appears to be its original top. The legs are very ornate and appear to be in very good condition. there is however one wheel missing on the bottom of the cast iron legs with the other three wheels remaining and in good condition. i do not know the original meaning of this beautiful table. my guess is a sewing or drafting table. it would make a very perfect side table with an immense amount of antique character. this table is very heavy. I can see no makers mark on the table top or base.

The base has patent dates from 1880 and 1879 and the logos are"Singer MFG NY" It is complete and in working order. The flywheel and foot pedal move with ease. The wooden pitman arm is not cracked or warped. Both casters on the bottom do not rotate. One caster is very rusted. The frame was repainted at one time. Welcome to my auction for a beautiful vintage singer sewing machine model no 12.the much sought after fiddle base new family. ~ serial number 4861722/ 1155922~ This machine is in working order.Its quite stiff and definitely needs oiling but everything moves as it should including the bobbin winder and stitch adjustment knob.The bullet shuttle is included and in good condition also comes with 2 bobbins. As you can see by the photos the decals are missing in places but overall fairly complete especially considering its age.I often see singers half the age of this in similar condition. Antique NEW HOME Cast Iron Treadle Sewing Machine Legs - Industrial-Table Base
For sale is a pair of side legs from a New Home brand of antique treadle sewing machine. This one was made in the late 1800's. The legs are cast iron with black enamel coating and Gold Paint on the"New Home" logos. This pair also has the original steel wheels. One of these wheels does not move very well. But the other three move smoothly. There is some rust along the bottom section- please see the pictures. Legs are 28.25" tall, 16.25" across the bottom and 13" across the top. ALSO included in the auction is the cross bar. The bar will make an 18.75" opening from one leg to the other when inserted used. The bolts that hold it to the legs move smoothly.

It is 27 ¾” high. 23” long, and 19” wide. The base is in beautiful condition, no rust, the singer name in the center of the base, and on either end it carries the Singer Manufacturing Co. Trademark symbol. It is light in color, but there is still gold paint on the raised lettering of the trademark. The arm which connects to the foot base is all brass, magnet does not stick. I got it from a person who wanted to make it into a table, but never had the time. The paint is aged, worn and chipped. All casters spin free and do not have any flat spots. The bolts hold the sides together are modern. It measures 21-1/8" x 16" and is 16" tall. It will need to be reassembled upon delivery. Insert the main rod in the middle first. Antique Civil War Era Raymond US Pat. 1861 Sewing Machine Cast Iron Base Spain
This is an antique Charles Raymond sewing machine. The machine has a US patent date of July 30. 1861 and is mounted on a cast iron base with a nameplate for Mauricio Bing. The Madrid/Seville Spain distributors of" Deposito De Maquinas De Decoser" Deposit Sewing Machines) The sewing machine is in functional condition- everything moves freely on it- but there is no needle to test it with. Unlike most early sewing machine models. There is no added paint decoration on this. I do not know if this is because it was repainted at one point, or if it was originally just all black. As the photos show, the pieces that would be chromed are rusted, but are capable of being restored to their original finish. I did remove the foot base in order to clean it slightly and photograph the patent date and name. The handle is not original and the spool ... moreholder on the front top of the machine has been repaired. The sewing machine measures 11 3/4" long x 7 1/4" wide x 10" tall and weighs just over 10 pounds. Up for auction is this Antique Singer Fiddle Base Sewing Machine with Cabinet. Please read complete details as follows prior to placing a bid. I am auctioning the item off as with what is shown in the photo as is with no returns. Here is a early model Singer Fiddle Based Portable Sewing Machine with Cabinet. The sewing machine is not complete but comes with the items shown in the photo. This will be a project to restore to its original condition and will require additional parts other than what is shown. It seems to work fine the wheel spins and the needle goes up and down. The paint is a bit chipped and the print on the machine is worn off in places. The cabinet will require some restoration as well included is the original skeleton key lock device(the brass item in the parts photo) but you will have to find a key or locksmith a new key ... morefor the lock. The cabinet does have a crack on the corner on the back side and the original bottom has been temporary replaced with a piece of plywood to maintain the shape of the base bottom. They have been dusted and rinsed off but not thoroughly cleaned. I'll leave it to the new owner's discretion to determine how much'character' to leave. All wheels turn freely. Solid cast iron Singer treadle base from 1896 Singer Sewing machine. according to serial number) all four wheels turn freely, although one of them has a flat spot on it(see last picture) and the treadle moved also, this piece will be disassembled for shipping, all hard ware will be included. There is some very minor surface rust here and there, nothing major at all. The legs measure 26 1/2" tall and are 19" across at the bottom, these machine parts will need to be cleaned as they are very very dusty. All screws and hardware have been placed back in the area they came from for easier assembly, see second to last picture. Antique Willcox& Gibbs Treadle Sewing Machine Base Stand- Dated 1970 This Antique Treadle Sewing Machine Base comes form an estate. It has been in storage for many years. The base is in Very Good Condition for its age. It still works great. The pedal attached to a rod moves the wheel properly. The base has some paint loss and rust from age and normal use. The patent date indicated on the wheel is Jan. 25. 1870 The Stand measures approx. 28" high by 22" wide and 16 1/2" depth. The foot pedal measures 12" by 11 1/2" This piece would make a great base for a glass top table. It would be wonderful addition. Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cast iron base. Removed from a cabinet with an 1889 model 27 head in it. All parts and wheels move freely. The spring on the belt shifter is in tact. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. Comes with the metal pitman arm. The mounting holes are 11 1/8" center to center(front to back) and 22 3/8" center to center(length wise) and stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. Treadle will be dismantled for shipping.
