1920s Singer Model 20 Childs Mini Sewing Machine- All Original, Works Well
Offered here is a 1920s cast iron child's mini sewing machine. Model 20 by Singer. It is in working condition. With original parts. There is a needle installed. And there is no fabric guide. The mechanism runs smoothly. There is some minor paint loss of the black enamel here and there(see pics) The gold lettering and Singer logo are 99% + all there. The chrome and metal pieces look like they can be shined up with proper cleaning and the plate shows some tarnishing. The spool holder metal shaft is missing and will need to be replaced. It is in good shape though and will look great with some TLC. Measurements are 7" long x 7"high x 3 1/2" deep. A nice wooden platform in black with gold trim was made as a mount for display. Early German Childs Toy Sewing Machine, Super Condition, Great Stenciling
You're bidding on an estate fresh German toy sewing machine. The toy is in wonderful original condition. The machine measures 7 1/2" long. 7 1/4" high, and 4 1/2" wide. As you can see the stenciling is super. The one flaw is the drip of the original japan finish used to coat the piece after the paint and stenciling were put on. This is a early Davis sewing machine.Around 1866. Job Davis, an inventor, exhibited his machine which was considered a great improvement over the sewing machine previously invented by Elias Howe and it aroused the interest of brothers John and Joseph Sheldon. In February 1868, the Davis Sewing Machine Company was started in Watertown by the Sheldons with a capital of $150,000. This machine is one of the early specimens, circa 1869, by the way. The loopers on these machines often have the Davis name on them probably as Davis(and I have no idea which Davis) made the loopers, possibly as a licencee of Raymond, who patented this looper design. Sweet Little Singer This is a wonderful old miniature Singer cast iron sewing machine. A diminutive"Model 20" from the late 1920s to 1930s. These were made and marketed as a child's first sewing machine and were also useful for travel. This model, with oval pedestal and wood knob, is in very nice condition. Though could use a cleaning and oiling. The mechanism turns smoothly and the needle and parts appear to move as designed. I have not tested it with thread and fabric. There are some light scuffs and dings- nothing major- and just a bit of surface rust that a cleaning would take care of. The spool pin was missing so I purchased a replacement and I will also include new spool felts and needle. The fabric guide is missing but it's not a necessity and replacements are available. Muller #1 German pre WWI miniature childs toy sewing machine
Up for bid is a nice Muller#1 childs toy sewing machine. It was made between 1895-1914 by the FW Muller company in Berlin. Germany. The machine has the front crank and has feed dogs to transport the fabric through the machine. It is missing the spool tension spring& nut, thread guides and the original needle. There is however a needle in the machine and it turns and advances the fabric. I believe the number on the plate is 119486. Unusual 1950's Childs Electric Singer Sewing Machine Wheel Drive Original Case
You are bidding on a 1950's Childs Electric Singer Sewing Machine with Wheel Drive and Original Case. After looking at hundreds of completed and current auctions on Ebay I fail to find a childs sewing machine that has a drive mechanism like this one. A wheel friction drive built inside the case with a switch to turn on the drive wheel and another switch to engage the drive wheel. This is truly an unusually different machine. The Machine in crinkle tan with the Singer Emblem is in very nice condition and runs well. The Blue and White Case with working latch. Hinges. Handle, and intact rubber feet, the case covering shows some signs of wear. Its measurements are; 13" x 9 1/2" x 5" Included in the case is an attachable manual crank handle. I have not tried to clean this unit as I will leave that up tothe experts. I am no expert on these. the amazing thing about this machine is there is not one scratch in the paint and no signs of touch ups. no rust. you very seldom find one in this condition. it looks like it has been stored on a shelf its hole life. Rare Singer Hand Crank Sewing Machine Childs Toy Model K20 In Wooden Case Singer Hand Crank Sewing Machine Childs Toy Model#20 In Wooden Case made in Turkey This m odel K- 20 toy sewing machine features the black painted 7-spoke hand wheel with a chrome plated rim. It has the thread route numbering system. Which makes it easy to use. Crank or treadle sewing machines like these are nearly indestructible. This machine has no bobbin. It creates a chain stitch. The Singer model 20 was made at the Elizabeth factory in New Jersey. USA, and was originally sold as a toy. First appearing around 1910 some 60 years after Isaac Merritt Singer founded the great Singer Manufacturing Company. Early Singer toy sewing machines were clearly aimed at the child market however later Singer toy sewing machines were sold as adult light portable machines as well ... moreas toys. This was probably to gain a foothold into the larger market of full-sized machines. In the 1950’s Singers resurrected the model in the late 1970’s for a short period. These models were manufactured in Turkey by Singer and are original Singer toy sewing machines built to a high specification. These models are now highly collectible because of the limited numbers and were simply called Singer k20 rather than Singer 20k. The machine comes with the original box and clamp to attach it to a table. The machine measures 7 1/8" wide. 6.5" high, and 3.5" in depth. The box measures 8.5" tall. 8.5" long, and 4.25" wide. Up for auction is this really wonderful little Childs Sewing Machine. It measures approximately 8 1/2" Long x 5 1/2" Tall at thread spindle x 4 1/2" Deep. I am guessing it's timeframe to be 1920's to 1930's. If the pic's show something on the faceplate it's probably dirt- I tried washing a bit but did not want to damage it in anyway. The parts that move on this sewing macine(zipper foot lever and crake handle) move freely and it has it's original needle. It shows slight to medium useage but is in really good shape for it's age. Antique childs early 1900's Hansel & Gretel all steel sewing machine excellent
Up for sale is an all steel childs sewing machine"Hansel& Gretel" that was made in Germany in the early 1900's. It is in remarkable condition with almost all the black paint in tact. There are a limited few places where it is missing in a small spots. But very few(see pics) The many gold and colored decorations are just about all there with a limited amount of the gold and color worn off around the edges and some discoloration of the childrens clothes. There is a small screw that holds the needle holder to the main moving arm that is missing& I put a small piece of paper clip wire in the hole to hold it in place to show that it works GREAT. There is surface rust only on the chrome pieces that a good cleaning should remove most of it. Again. See the pics. as they show how much is there. It has its wooden thread bobbin ... morein tach as well as the wood knob that turns the machine. The black paint has been worn in some places, but over all it is in great shape with most of the black paint there. It has no needle, but the screw that holds it in place is there. It is not marked STITCHWELL but I can tell you that it is the EXACT SAME painted design on the machine as Stitchwell It ALSO has the stamp on the box that you can just barely read that says BELVIDERE for BELVIDERE. ILL where the Stitchwell Factory was. With that being said. This is a vintage SINGER Child's Model Sewing Machine No. 20 with the original box(made in 1930s) This machine is intended for little girls to learn how to sew by making clothes for their dolls. This shows signs of use and age. The original box is falling apart. As you can see in the photographs. There is a side missing, I believe. The instructions have been ripped in the bottom corner. Antique 1914 Childs No. 20 Singer Sewing Machine w/ Clamp & Instructions NICE
This auction is for an antique childs mini No. 20 Singer sewing machine. It comes with the original instructions. Hold down clamp and a pack of 4 needles. There is one spot of wear to the black paint where the clamp rests on the base. Otherwise, it is in excellent working and cosmetic condition with no issues. Chrome is nice and shiny with no rust. Looks as though it has seen very little use. I will be happy to combine multiple purchases to save on shipping.

Antique 1900's Rare Childs Sewing Machine in Working Order LOOK NR Original Box
Hello. Here is a very nice example of a metal/cast child’s sewing machine that was purchase from the T. Eaton Company a long time ago. It is in all original condition and you can actually sew with this machine as I have pictured. This machine retains all its original artwork. I have taken lots of pictures so you see exactly what you are bidding on. The original box is shown. Some of the corners on the lid have split which is common. The chrome fabric base measures 2 ¼ inches by 2 ½ inches. Chrome base has the number 14715 embossed in it. The base of the machine measures approx. 7 ¼ x 4 inches. The machine stands 7 inches high to the top of the spool holder. The machine also retains its original clamp to secure the machine to stop movement. This machine is in very nice condition for its age. There are some minor paint flaws, ... moreflaking etc, no dents. Pictures should speak louder than words.
