47 fabulous antique mother of pearl buttons include squares. Ovals, rounds, carved, and some with metal embellishments. These range in size from 9/16" to 1.5" diameter. The large square buttons measure 1.5" square. The ovals measure a hair over 1" by 3/4" There is a dime in the first photo for better size comparison. There are two hole buttons, two of them have self shanks, the rest have inserted metal loop shanks. The last photo shows the back of all the buttons. They are in good condition with no cracks or repairs. The large square in the center has a chipped corner as shown. There are a few expected flea bites on some of them from over the years. Happy to offer these exquisite examples of well made AND beautiful vintage. I have dated these c. mid 1800's based on the design and materials. These sweet little brass buttons measure 5/8" Diameter. They are a single layer. Openwork dome with a dimensional floral motif. Each features 8 facet cut steel gems, creating sparkling beauty despite some tarnish. There is a total of 18 buttons. Selling this stagecoach trunk made around the 1860's. The trunk is all original and the leather is in very nice condition. The leather is a little dirty and could use a conditioning. There is a tray incuded. The holding comparment in the interior will need to be reattached as the leather hinges are no longer attached. The trunks handels are also in great shape. It appears that the metal bands are also brass plated. Though a couple of them have been painted green. Its rare that a trunk is in as nice condion as this one. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ESTATE GAY 90's AMETHYST GLASS & BRASS BUTTONS
Here are two lovely Gay 90's buttons measuring 1& 1/16 and 1& 1/4 inches with amethyst glass set in brass. The smaller button appears to have white spots in it. But is only white from the camera flash, but it has an interesting glass shank poking through the brass back. These buttons are from my aunt's estate collection. She was a member of the National Button Society and one of the founding members of the Trillium Button Club of Ontario. Shipping costs can be combined in most cases. Payment is due within 5 days. Offered here is an original card of 19 Vintage Amson Furtsch buttons. These are all New old Stock. All are cold painted enamel on brass. There are three different flowers in eight different colors. The two top buttons are of a Saguaro Cactus. A Sombrero, a serape or saltillo and a guitar. Measurements are: small 3/4" medium 1" and the large 1" x 1 1/4"All sewn to the card on the back, these buttons would make a great addition to any collection or could be used. Antique elevator up/ down buttons with heavy brass backplate in good unrestored condition. Measures 7 3/4" H x 2 3/4" W x 1/2" D. Has wear and scratches consistent for something of its age that has been in service& some traces of wall paint that will come off easily. Would polish up nicely but I will leave that to the Buyer. Gorgeous buttons c. 1800-1900 make up this brooch. 1-14" lacy brass and cut steel button. 1/4" brass and cobalt glass button- 5/8" brass and cut steel button with a wheat or grass stalk-7/8" French enamel and cut steel button that is simoly beautiful. The brooch was put together by Once Again. A San Francisco jewelry designer. It was part of the Fisherman's Wharf Wax Museum gift shop inventory when I purchased many pieces from there shortly before it was demolished and rebuilt. There is still the $94 price tag.
