Pair Antique Vintage Marine Nautical Ferry Boat Ship Signal Lantern Lamp Light. This is a Large Pair of Old Antique or Vintage Nautical Signal Lights Lanterns. The Lamps are Not a Exact Match but they are almost Identical in Size. Each Light measures 13" high x 11" wide x 10" deep approx. The Top Lid on Each Light is Solid Brass. The Body of Each Light is Heavy Steel Metal. On One of the Lights Brass Lid does Not Screw down all the Way. It is marked Staten Island. NY. This Same Light also has a Brass Tag marked MARINE LIGHTING A. WARD. HENDRICKSON CO. NY. The other Light is Unmarked. The Lamps are Shabby and can be Restored if Desired. Vintage Bronze Tung Woo Hong Kong EK1390 PORT Ship Lantern Lamp Nautical
Vintage Tung Woo PORT Lantern I recovered this Tung Woo port-side lantern from a sunken pipe barge while working off the coast of Borneo in the South China Sea in 1971. From it’s configuration it appears to have always been an electric lantern. I used it with a small battery light for a little evening ambiance on the deck table. So no heat damage from using it with candles. From the number of mounting holes(see last photo) it had a long service use history before I salvaged it. My guess is early post WWII. It has a heavy clear glass lens with an internal removable curved glass red filter. It’s got dents. Dimples and a wonky corner, decades of stains from living outside but no gouges or deep scratches. A brass"MASTHEAD" plaque surmounts the hood of this VINTAGE NAUTICAL LANTERN. It stands 14-1/2 inches tall. Not including handle. Features CURVED GLASS LENS and curved metal reflector plate, Sturdy brass mounting brackets on back- presumably for affixing to the mast of a sailing ship. Constructed of brass, glass, and brass plating over- judging from the tarnish- probably copper? This is most likely an older decorative reproduction. It's rendition is very faithful. And lantern is functional. The base unscrews to take a CANDLE- either one with a wide base, or a taper inserted into your own socket(no disrespect intended) OR. HUGE Vintage Nautical Upcycled Repurposed Electricfied Military Ship Light lamp
International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for a shipping estimate! Up for sale is a HUGE Large Vintage Antique Nautical Ship Maritime Lantern Light. This light is heavy. It weighs a little over 12 pounds. I'm not sure if it's copper or brass. It's also very LARGE. It measures about 13 1/2" tall, 13 3/4" wide and is approximately 9 1/2" deep from each corner to the back. It was a originally a kerosene or oil ship's lantern. It's an amazing light! It's in excellent working condition, it's been newly re-wired& has an antique switch in the front(converted to electric) The switch is turned to right each time you want to turn it off or no. It has a removable red port glass(see photos of it turned on, with and without the red glass) The clear glass has a small 1/2" chip in one of the ... moreribbed sections; it's a very heavy thick glass so this does not compromise anything. Near the top of the lamp there's an emblem that has the numbers"3883" There is also some etching on both the clear and red glass. I wonder if this belonged to a military ship. As most items on those ships were marked with serial#s etc. The writing on each glass piece says"DHJE 3883, No. 654, E.31.5.61" It's not very noticable and you can't see it unless you really look; it's not seen when the light is on. The door does stick some; you have to put some effort into it, to open it. Condition wise.it's vintage! There are a few dings& dents. Some areas of wear etc.but considering it was a ship light, it's going to have a weathered old look, which I personally prefer. I've never seen another light like this. It has a great industrial. Here is a Large 8 inch tall RED LENSE REAL GLASS marked Corning on glass Nautical SHIP. DOCK, or PIER Nautical Light. This 8 inch tall lamp has a 3 1/2 inch tall RED glass bezile lense, There are only a couple of specs on the glass that appears to be in very good condition NO CRACKS. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. This Vintage Brass Marine Lantern is marked English Made on the wick adjuster. It measures 16 1/2 by 7 3/4 inches. It is hand crafted with rivets and solder. The work shows very good quality. It is in very good condtion with a couple of very small hard to find dents. The top and the globe unscrew to fill the tank. They are stuck with old fuel varnish and I do not intend to forcefully remove them. The wick moves up and down when the wheel is turned. The glass plates and globe are very good. Industrial Spotlight Caster Wheel Lamp Nautical, Vintage
This is one of the most creative spotlights I've seen to date. Normally you see spotlights on tripods. But I created something that is outside the box! The Spotlight is easy to move around or could be used as a table lamp. Or floor lamp. The spotlight measures 10" in diameter, 19" height. and 12" at the widest point of wooden base. The caster wheels are vintage. The wooden base is an old vintage chopping block, and the spotlight came off an old 1940's truck. Vintage twisted cloth(not rayon) lamp cord measures 6' long. With an on/off rotary switch with vintage plug. Spotlight has beautiful patina, and age that adds unique character. I am selling a unique working vintage brass nautical passage light with red glass. It measures 15" from the top of the brass hook to the bottom brass hook and 4 1/2" wide. It has a 15 ft cord and slightly shorter chain. The chain links are separated near the top- see photo and wrapped around the cord near the bottom- could be reattached with pliers. This lamp would make a great addition for any nautical decor room or restaurant. This lamp measures 21" tall up to the top of the light bulb socket. It measures 7 and 1/2" across at the bottom. The top light socket is in perfect working condition. It turns on and off perfectly. There is a smaller light bulb in the center of the glass. An original solid brass oil lantern made by BULPITT& SONS BIRMINGHAM 1940 Embossed on the chimney of the lantern. F ully functional. Heavy gauge brass lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead. Cabin/wardroom lamp. Stands 16" high. 20" high with the handle upright, 8 1/2" wide x 6" deep. The unit has a three sided glass face. With a right side access door. The burner is made to come out to fill. It also has a key that the wick can be put up or down without opening the door. The chimney also opens up the top section for cleaning or service. Vintage Estate Mid-Century 1950's Chrome Metal TV Nautical Maritime Ship Lamp. Really cool lamp from my gram's estate. Dates to the 1950's. During the days of televisions inside decorative cabinets that also served as an elegant piece of furnature. Sat on top of gramp's beloved American made Magnavox tube television long before the days of wall-mounted LCD's. Measures 12 1/2" tall x 11" long x 2 3/4" wide at widest point(base) Weighs almost 2 lbs. Lamp is in good working condition. Newer electrical wiring/cord. Uses a Christmas light bulb. Which unscrews from the back for replacement. Currently features a blue bulb. I have no idea how old the bulb might be or how much longer it will work before replacement.
