Here is a D.H.R. Dean Haan of Rotterdam. The lantern is brass. Not polished, has patina. On the bottom is the makers mark, Made in Holland. On either side it is embossed with a windmill. The lantern stands about 11" and 5 1/4" wide. On the back is a key hole notch for hanging. The wick is still intact and the turn knob works. The glass chimney is about 10 1/4" tall and the base is 2" wide. On the chimney is written cristal Prima. There are some spots of tarnish and a small scuff in the front. Otherwise, in good condition. 19th Century Riverboat / Steamship Brass Cabin Lantern or Lamp
Offered is an original. 1800's era steamboat cabin lamp. I got this years ago from a ship salvage worker who told me he took it off of a 19th century Sacramento River paddle wheeler in the delta area. It looks to have the original rippled glass globe and the brass has nice patina. Looks like someone tried to electrify it at some point in it's life. It has a very neat look to it, and would be great displayed along other ocean liner, sailing ship, or whaling/ maritime artifacts. Measures approx: 10.5" tall x 8" wide at the wire globe guard. Really cool Perko marine cabin lanterns. These are manufactured to function either as oil or electrical lighting. They are like new condition. Never been utilized, but stored for years. They are solid brass, 8 3/4" tall(not including top ring) and 4 1/2" in dia. at the base. Time has toned the brass down to an even, lightly darker patina. The electric light receptacle is for a double contact bayonet type bulb. OLD MARINE CABIN LANTERN ELECTRIC CONVERSION
Great marine cabin lamp. Clear glass lantern. This lamp has a real nice dark patina. The lamp has been converted to electric with a standard ceramic base 110V light fixture at the top end. The lamp is 10" tall with a 4 1/2" diameter base. It weighs 2 lbs. Wire pigtails are 12" long. The photos are a true reflection of the coloring. I cannot find a makers mark. Material could be copper, not sure. There are no dings or dents and no cracks in the glass. This is a great nautical theme lamp. Thanks for looking here.

Antique Sailing Ship's Cabin Oil Lantern on Gimble with Wick & Hurricane Globe
This is a small sailing ship cabin copper/brass oil lamp with glass hurricane globe mounted in a gimble for full motion on a rolling vessel. I have no idea of it's exact age but likely from the late 19th century. It's tarnished and I haven't attempted to clean it up. It measures approximately 7 1/2/ H by 3 1/2" W and would stand away from a ships bulkhead approximately 4 1/2" and weighs approximately 1 pound. It has the glass hurricane globe intact as well as a frabric wick so all you would need to do is fill it with keroscene(or whale oil? and light it up. Wonderful old lamp from the days of sail. The manufaturer is stamped on the wick tuning knob and says: The P&A Mfg. Co. Acorn" Great maritime antique and a great value! Happy bidding!

1983 main cabin oil lantern
This lantern came off a 1983 Panda 38 sailboat. It has a copper fuel tank with brass shade which you can see from the picture is severely discolored. The under side of the shade is painted white.

This piece was purchased at an estate sale of a collector. I don't know much about it except that it is rare and vintage from the 1960s-70s. I was told that it is extremely rare to see a 7" lantern lamp piece designed as an electric table lamp. The lantern is signed and numbered"kingedwheel" No. 350.made in japan. see pix The condition is excellent for its age. With the only noticable wear being on the brass pole above wooden ball. See photos for details. The lamp has slide on/ off switch The height of the entire lamp is 24. The top has a screw on brass cap to hold the shade in place.
