Up for auction is a Very Rare Antique Perko Purple Glass Nautical Light. This was found recently at an estate sale on the coast of Maine. In doing my research on this item I have determined that this is a rare light. This would be a fantastic centerpiece to any room and can easily become a functional light. ANTIQUE PERKO MASTHEAD SHIPS MARINE LANTERN LAMP SMALL OIL LAMP FRESNEL LENSE For your consideration is this Antique Perko Ships Lantern. This lantern has been converted from oil to electric. There is a dent on the bottom edge. This has made it out of round& where the insert only lines up in one position. One of the locking wires has come disconnected but is still present& included. Clear perko Fresnel lens in great condition with no cracks. This lens is a full cylinder. This lantern is just over 6" tall and is 4.25" across the b ottom. I have made no attempts to polish or repair this lamp. This is the condition i found it in. This piece will make a great little project for someone who likes to tinker with things. Or just leave it the way it is, as it's still charming!

Up for auction is this old P ERKO ships lamp. It must be the largest lamp made by Perko. It stands an impressive 2 4" tall. With handle raised. M easures 11 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. This could have been a cargo lamp. Steaming l ight. Anchor light, or a stern light. Not really sure. Somewhere on it's journey it was electrified and has a bulb inside and the burner is not present. It has a thick Fresnel lens that is turning purpl e with age and it has a crack in it that is stable. Doesn't detract much from the old lamp. Still displays beautifull y.With a r ich patina that adds to the salty character. This Perko lamp was made in Brooklyn. New York a long time ago and after being at sea for many years. 1939 Rare Perko De-lite Maritime Red and Green Kerosene Combination Bow Lantern
For Auction: Rare Perko De-lite Maritime Red and Green Kerosene Lantern Lamp. From the 1939 Perko catalog. This is described as a"Perko De-Lite Combination Bow Light for boats under 26' Designed for boats going up and down a channel or river. The divider divides the red and green light and gives you a clue on which side you are passing on. Base is 5 1/2" by 5" 7" tall. Copper over metal. Original Condition- Red and Green Glass are good. Both doors open. The Green door latch is a little tight. But it does open. The red door latch is not original, and looks like it has been replaced. The kerosene can inside is empty. The Original wick is still included. The wicker turner still turns just fine. It won't raise the tope part of the wick. Because the wick has thinned, but it will raise the wick in a lower part of the ... morewick. There are a few small dents on the top. There is also a dent below the red glass. Nice antique vintage Perko ships lantern. Painted black with red glass lense. Has not been cut up into an electric lantern. Still hass original oil lamp components. This lovely piece is approximately 18" high by 16" wide and weighs approximately 10 lbs. Lovely copper patina. Top handle has tape. Did not remove to see if cracked. See added pictures. This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. Measures 15.75" tall x 9 1/2" across. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. His lamps were hand formed and soldered from brass. Copper and galvanized steel. About 1922, the trademark name PERKO was introduced and their products were marked with PERKO instead of PERKINS. It looks as though it was dropped on the side and sort of pushed in the side of the bottom. Not sure about the fixture inside, don't know if that is original. Offered for your bidding consideration is a very rustic looking Perkins Marine Lamp. Handsome verdigris abound! This lamp is located in Stockton. California which is, in tonage, the 4th busiest port on the West Coast. In the early days of California Stockton was the hub. Many regarded Stockton as the in-land San Francisco. It was a rough place and full of vice. Many different forms of boats and ships from sailing vessels to large paddlewheelers made their way to Stockton bringing people and goods. During WWII there were no less than two shipyards making destroyers, balloon barges and tugs for the U.S. Navy. Stockton was also home to the Stephen's Bros. Boat Builders from 1902 to 1987. I can't say what ship or boat this lamp was on, but it is from Port Stockton. It has a wonderful look you just can't replicate. Awesome decorating ... morepiece. Thank you for looking. Rare Antique Perko Tri Brass Color Navigation Light Lantern Lamp w/Dietz Burner

This auction is for a rare and unique maritime lantern made by Perko with its original Dietz burner. It measures 8-1/2 inches tall. Is 5 inches wide across the back, 3 inches wide across the front, and is 4-3/8 inches deep. It has a flat back so that it can be mounted on a wall. It has one flaw, the latch for the door in back is broken. It is otherwise in excellent condition with no significant cracks, dents or breaks. The tri-colored original bullet lens glass is still in excellent condition. This is the one you want to complete your collection, so don't let this rare lantern get away! Richards Estate Sale Perko Boat Signal This is an amazing piece from maritime history. This piece was made by Perko(Perkins) and has really withstood the test of time. Unlike many of these lanterns this one still has the original Perko lamp inside as shown in pictures. The sliding hatch mechanism still works on this piece. It was used as a display piece in the house and they had a screw in the base of the signal to hold the sliding hatch open. This is the most complete piece of this kind that we have seen on eBay and a great addition to all maritime collectors. Antique Vtg Rare Perko Nautical Marine Lantern Port Starboard Combination This cool old Perko nautical lantern is a hard to find model. According to my search for a similar one. The lantern has both port& starboard lenses, with a dividing plate between the ribbed red& deep aqua green glass. The lantern has old silver paint with typical surface age. The interior lamp is brass& shows surface greening. The wick advances. One of the two side mounting brackets on the interior lamp is missing. The lantern displays very nicely& the glass on the lantern is free of any chips or cracks. No dents. It measures 11" high to the top of the holding ring by 4.5" wide and 7" deep. Vtg PERKO SHIPS NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERN LIGHT VERY HEAVY BRASS & THICK GLASS
This is a very thick brass nautical light made by Perko. The red glass is original& also very thick. It was rewired for household current& works. The wire is very short& bared at the end& has a cut in it. So it probably should be replaced. It stands 9 1/2" tall. It has two open threaded fittings(one on bottom& one on back) It also has a smaller hole that the new wiring was ran through. I'm not sure if it was on a ship or maybe even a bridge. It is heavy duty, I put it on a bathroom scale& it registered 10 pounds. The glass is still in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was found in an old estate in northern Michigan right on Lake Huron, so it probably has some history. Unfortunately I do not know the history of it. Up for auction is a an antique maritime fixed globe kerosene lantern. This is an old maritime ship's lantern. Sometimes known as an anchor lantern or a riding light. It is approximately 13" tall and the globe has a 8" diameter. According to an expert's research. This was most certainly made by" Perko" the Perkins Lamp Company. Brooklyn, NY. It likely dates to the first quarter of the 1900s. The glass bulb looks like it may be a later replacement as it doesn't have the original"Perko" embossed onto the bulb. There is some minor evidence of resoldering, likely when the bulb was replaced. The bulb is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Purchased on ebay many years ago. Each lantern measures ~12.5 in tall(to top of ring) and ~8in across(at widest measurement) They are vintage and weathered. I am not sure of maker or age. But they look similar to Perko lanterns. The"Starboard" and"Port" wording are mostly gone, weathered away. Then lens of each is is good shape. The port lens, red, has someVERY minor superficial scratches in a small area, but no chips, cracks or other flaws that I can see. Fresh from an estate nautical collection is a RARE Antique Perko Brass Ship Lantern with brass tag that reads PERKO Manufacturer's Trademark Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another Perko stamp on the back. Lantern originally sold at some point by Bourne's Hyannis Port Cape Cod Massachusetts. This brass navigation lamp is in excellent condition for its age. No breaks or cracks, some minor wear and scratches as to be expected on a Lamp this old, some soldering. The nautical lamp has a great brass case with glass panels, handle above the rounded chimney at the top, a reflector/mirror, kerosene well is removable for filling. This vintage ship lantern Height is about 14 1/2" high with the handle, 13" without the handle& is approx 8" x 6" wide. FINE ANTIQUE PERKO SHIPS LANTERN
This is a really nice early ships lantern that is complete with burner and reflector. Etc. Lantern was made by Perko of Brooklyn, New York. The piece is solid with no rust. Galvanized steel and bras is intact. There is one very small chip in the glass that is extremely minor and not real noticeable(see photo) Lantern is approximately 10" tall or 12" if you count the ring.
