Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. Antique Boat Ship Vintage Bow Light Brass Vessel Perko Blue Red Glass Nautical
Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. It has been sitting on a shelf for years and could use a good cleaning. It is being sold in as is condition. Please see my other antique nautical items up for auction this week. This is a super ugly Perko ships mast or stern light we found at an estate sale. The lense is the only beautiful thing with this lamp. The body is all but destroyed but the lense is a great sun turned lavender color. Pics show color well! It measures approx. 10 inches tall and 5 wide. No electrical parts left. This is a vintage boat lamp from a local estate. It is a Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Corp. Perko) RED boat light. Lens is in great condition. Lamp can be repainted to look as new if the buyer so desires. It's a beauty. Please check my other listing for another vintage PERKO boat lamp. For sale is a"PERKO" brand glass globe for some sort of nautical light or lamp. It is light purple/amethyst in color and is marked"PAT. PEND" in tiny letters on the side. It measures about 2 3/4" tall. The diameter of the bottom is about 1 7/8" and this is the outside measurement of the very bottom edge. The globe is in very nice shape with no damage and just slight wear. The glass is ever so slightly cloudy on the inside but perhaps this can be polished away? Original Perko Boat Signal Lantern Perkins Nautical Marine Light Brass Oil Lamp
Richards Estate Sale Perko Boat Signal This is an amazing piece from maritime history. This piece was made by Perko(Perkins) and has really withstood the test of time. Unlike many of these lanterns this one still has the original Perko lamp inside as shown in pictures. The sliding hatch mechanism still works on this piece. It was used as a display piece in the house and they had a screw in the base of the signal to hold the sliding hatch open. This is the most complete piece of this kind that we have seen on eBay and a great addition to all maritime collectors. This is an old bronze Perko bow light we found at a local estate sale. It measures 7+7/8 inches long. 4+3/4 inches wide and 3+3/4 inches tall. This one is in used condition. It needs rewiring and has no guts whatsoever. It has a small crack in the bronze on the front of the light and the plug on the back is missing. The lenses are perfect with no chips or cracks. This is a vintage Perko clamp on navigational green& red bow light. Bow light has a Pat date on it of Dec 20. 1921. Light is marked Perko, Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Brooklyn NY, USA. Light is a clamp on type that measures 14 1/2 inches long not counting the turn clamp on bottom, adding that it comes to 17 inches with clamp open, space between clamp is 1& 10 8ths inches. Circumfrance around the top glass part is 10 inches. Light is 8 inches from top to the flashlight end. The glass lenses are red and a blue green, the green lens looks blue when not turned on, when on it looks like a blue green. Light takes two D batteries and works great. Vintage Perko Navigational Boat Stern Light
This vintage Perko stern light is in nice condition but is showing some chrome wear with the brass showing through in areas. Light measures 21 inches long. Not counting the clamp rod, with this it would measure 24 inches. The glass light says Perko, there are no other marks in this. Light appears to be in good working condition but does not work and I believe it needs a new bulb. condition is good, there is some wear to the chrome plating but the switch works fine as does the clamp. Light unscrews in the middle and also does in the flashlight part on the top and bottom. Flashlight part measures 5 1/4 inches in circumfrance and measures 7 inches from top light to base of flashlight screw section. Email me with any other questions. This is a very thick brass nautical light made by Perko. The red glass is original& also very thick. It was rewired for household current& works. The wire is very short& bared at the end& has a cut in it. So it probably should be replaced. It stands 9 1/2" tall. It has two open threaded fittings(one on bottom& one on back) It also has a smaller hole that the new wiring was ran through. I'm not sure if it was on a ship or maybe even a bridge. It is heavy duty, I put it on a bathroom scale& it registered 10 pounds. The glass is still in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was found in an old estate in northern Michigan right on Lake Huron, so it probably has some history. Unfortunately I do not know the history of it. This is a very heavy bow light for a boat. It weighs over 2 lbs. before packing. It has a red glass lens on one side that has a repair on it see picture and a blue glass lens on the other. The housing I think is solid bronze that was chrome plated with a gorgeous patina from use and age but may buff up nice. There is a spot in the top to place a flag on a pole(about 3/4" hole) It's in very nice vintage condition just the way it is with the patina or it can be rechromed to make it look like new. It's about 6 1/4" long X 3 3/4" X 3 1/8" tall. I was told it was removed from a Chris Craft boat But I can not confirm that. Sold as-is. Chrome Perko Bow Light with Fin; Chris Craft Hacker Garwood Vintage Boat Antique
Perko bow light off antique Chris Craft. Most likely 1940's or 1950's. Screw on design(no guts or bulbs) Green and red lenses are in perfect condition, chrome is a 7 out of 10(looks much better than in photos) Only a perfectionist would re-chrome this light. There is a 2mm x 4mm flake of chrome missing at very bottom of fin. Just needs a little polish, but in good to very-good condition. 2.5" diameter + 1" fin; 3.25" tall. Aspect is 33% chrome(front) 33% red lens and 33% green lens. Fin extends out from back-side. PERKO logo and imprint are completely legible and perfect. Made in Brooklyn, NY.

Offered here as is. Antique Red Green Perko Boat Bow Light mounted on teak or maybe mahogany wood. We found this piece at a fine Florida estate and were told it came off a Chris Craft vessel. It does have holes on each end of the(teak/mahogany wood) as though it would mount to the bow of a boat. There are minor age cracks in wood on each end. Red& Green Fresnel lens on Perko light is not cracked or chipped. The guy we got this from said he removed it from the Chris Craft boat himself and said it did work when it was removed. This piece is all ONE Piece- the switch on top clicks fine but this Perko navigational light was not possible for us to test. Offered as is. Large- measuring about 23" across and sits about 8" high. Antique PERKO lantern. The screw-on cap looks to be brass and the rest of it appears to be galvanized. The red plastic lens has a piece broken off it in the upper corner. There is a bulb inside but the filament looks broken so it would have to be replaced when the wiring is fixed. There is a large dent in the back of the lamp. I think it could be pressed in an arbor press to look a lot better. There's some rust. Some dirt, some paint and that's how things go on ships. Vintage lantern would great in your collection. It was built in the early 1900’s by Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. And has their name, city, state, and the“PERKO” trademark stamped on the belt clip. Also, BOAT SIGNAL” in a very large font) is stamped just above hinged door. This lantern features two adjustable handles, belt clip, 3” round clear bullseye lens, and a rotating shutter. Included is the original brass oil font tank and burner, which has“PERKO U.S.A. signed on the wick adjusting knob. Overall, the lamp measures 8½” tall x 3½” wide x 5” deep and weighs two pounds. Originally this unit was zinc plated and painted black. The black paint is almost gone and the zinc plating ... moreis still visible in the non-ware areas. Please note that there is a dent in the hinged side of the door. With the paint and plating gone, most of the lead solder joints stand out. Considering its nice original condition the unit would be well worth repainting to the original black finish. This nautical artifact is a nice example of the superior U.S. craftsmanship during this era. Antique? Perko Port Lantern w/ Red Lens, vintage boat lamp, Nautical
Here is a great vintage Perko port side ship lantern. It has a couple of dings and dents but still shows well. It also has a small chip in red lens at the top. The lantern is painted but made from galvanized steel and the top cover looks like brass. There is a large bulb inside not sure if it is any good. Please see pictures for further description. Here is a great set of ship or railroad lamps or lanterns with original box for storage in grey/blue paint. Box measures 19" x 8.5" x 13" Lanterns are about 11" tall and 5" wide. I believe the body of the lamps to be galvanized steel to tin. And all have lovely brass tops with rings. Really nice condition with just one crack in the green glass shade. This is a pair of Vintage Perkins Marine Lamps PERKO Boat Lanterns Port and Starboard. Each one measures 10-1/4" tall by 5-1/4" wide by 5-1/4"deep. The lens measures 4" wide. They were painted a long time ago and show some age. There is one small chip on the red lens. The other one has no chips. Please see photos for over all condition.

PERKO TABLE LAMP Beautiful v intage brass Perko split red and blue lens boat bow light made into a table lamp. Good working condition with 3 different on and off settings.The first setting will turn on the red and blue base boat light. Second setting will turn off red and blue base light and the main lamp will turn on, third setting will turn on both red, blue and main lamp setting so with the last setting the entire lamp will be lit. The lamp is set on a wood base that has a small chip see pix#8. Brass will need some shining up. But that will be left up to the new owner.
