Vintage Nautical Buoy Table Lamp Vintage nautical buoy table lamp that stands 9" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter it is made of brass and light steel with a frosted globe. The bottom is weighted down so it can not fall over but it will roll side to side. Also there is a brass bell at the top of the lamp that will ring when the lamp is in motion but it has to move pretty far in order to get the bell to ring. The external wiring is old looking but I did plug the lamp in for a very short time and it did light up(The on switch says DEAL on it) I don't encourage using this lamp without it being rewired. It shows age and is a great candidate for restoration or show it as it is, either way it is a great looking conversation piece. This lamp is being sold as I found it. This is a very different table lamp I got it at an estate sale I know it is older but not sure of the year. I also don't know if it is factory made or home made. The metal I don't know what it is but its very sturdy. It NEEDS A CLEANING I don't do that I sure don't want to mess anything up.It does sit on a wooden base. As you can tell by the pictures it does have some rust on it.If its home made the person did a good job. There are no makers marks that I can see. 1960s Nautical Maritime All Wood Table Lamp-Anchor-Beer Keg-Bar Room
In super condition is this 1960s All Wooden Table Lamp in a Nautical Maritime theme. The Lamp has a large anchor resting on its side against a big beer keg. The Beer Keg is made of wooden staves and metal hoops. It has a spigot in front. Near the Keg is a wooden Beer Stein wrapped in metal hoops. The Lamp is framed in real rope around the top and around the recessed base. The base is kidney shape and is thick solid wood. The“floor” of the base is grooved to represent a ship’s floor. The Lamp is all original and comes with its original neck. Harp, finial and cord set. The light switch is a 3-way light switch and works on all 3 levels. The Base has its original green felt surface protectors. The Lamp measures 29” high to the top of the harp; 13” high to the top of the upper rope, 11” wide and 10” deep. The Harp measures 9” high. The Lamp weighs ... more6 pounds. The top and bottom rope are in absolute excellent condition with no signs of frays or stains. The neck is a little loose at the base but can easily be tightened-up by removing the large green felt protector allowing access to the turn-nut inside. NAUTICAL RED EMERGENCY SHIP LANTERN COPPER AND BRASS TABLE LAMP
Thank you for viewing this auction for is one. 1) brass and copper ship lamp converted to a table lamp. This is an old oil lamp that I believe served as a emergency light due to the red lens it has which shine 360 degrees. There are two thick heavy glass lenses on this light. The clear lens is the amplifying lens, and the inside lens is for giving the light the red color. This light is constructed of primarily copper and brass. There are also some iron components to this light, this includes the lens protectors and the two hanging brackets. The hanging brackets are used to not only hang the light vertically, but also to stabilize it from moving left to right, and front to back. There is no lamp inside of this lantern, it does no light up internally. This ship lantern appears to have been converted a long time ago; I believe at the very earliest ... moreit was made into a table lamp in the 1940’s. This is an older piece and I am unsure of the age. I am also unsure of a maker for this lamp for there are no maker marks I have been able to identify. Telling from its construction. There is a good chance this lantern is from a 19 th century ship. The condition of this lamp is old. There are multiple dents on this lantern. And appears to have been used heavily. This lamp no longer has its original oil burner, it was most likely discarded when it was converted to a table lamp. The mounting clips are still in place for accepting an oil burner. The red lens and clear reflector are intact with no cracks. The lamp is built to flex, so it does move and flex; the structure of the lamp is still sound. The lamp does work, and lights. I would suggest changing the cord if it is still desired to use as a table lamp; the cord is older, and the plug is not polarized. The copper and brass does have extensive corrosion and staining on it. Also there are a lot of dings and dents throughout. vtg R V Anchor brass ship's table lamp nautical maritime oil lantern light HTF
For auction is an old oil lamp. Very unusual one, I think. I have not been able to figure out too much about it. It has some age though. The bottom is weighted, which I was thinking might indicate that it was to be used on a boat or ship. The only marking is on the knob and it has an R and V on each side of a anchor. I have had this a few years in my basement bar. But changing themes and it is time to let it go. I am not sure it is functional, but the way it is made I would expect that it might be. It measures approx. 37" to the top and the oak wooden crate box measures approx. 8" x 8" x 10" in size. The widest part of the lamp rope shade is approx. 18 1/2" across. This item is in used condition. The lamp is good with only minimal wear. The shade isn't in pristine condition. The inner plastic liner has a few cracks that you don't see unless you look down into the shade. Also around the top of the wire ring it looks like the adhesive or tape has worn off over the years. VTG Nautical Glass Fish Table Lamp Blenko Art Glass Chrome Base Modern MCM
This is a vintage Blenko Glass Fish Lamp. The shade has carved pieces of composite strung together with beaded top and bottom. Some of the beads may be missing. The base and stem are chrome. And lamp stands 25" tall. Glass fish measures 14" long x 5" wide. A great nautical themed lamp. Probably from the 60s era. The mouth of fish is a bit chippy, however it has been used for display such as corks inside. The socket is loose but the shade still sets sturdy on top with finial. It is in vintage condition as shown. For safety maybe a rewiring would be recommended. Lamp displays nicely and has a nice clean modern look! large rare antique handmade Folk Art electric lighthouse nautical table lamp
This is a very rare large antique handmade wood and meta nautical light house electric table lamp. it is a lovely piece of nautical Folk Art and completely crafted and painted by hand. the actual lighthouse is made from metal and riveted together. the top watch tower is made from several detailed pieces of wood and has a handmade metal fence wrapping the edge. it has a clear glass shade with a carved wood and bronze finial. the bottom structure is made from wood with metal accents. it also has a light inside and both are operated from a switch in the back. the door opens and closes on hinges and is very well made. it is mounted to a rectangular wooden base. it measures 28 inches tall 18 inches long by10 1/4 inches wide. it's overall in nice condition and displays very well. it has normal ware from age and some paint loss on the bottom ... moreof the lighthouse cylinder. there is also a couple window panels missing on this structure. the lights both work wonderfully and is a great piece of nautical Folk Art.
