Antique Vintage Boat Nautical Marine Oil lamps Port Starboard Green Red Ship
Up for auction are two antique nautical port/ starboard oil lamps. I have yet to see a pair exactly like this with smooth glass. Unfortunately i do not see any markings on them. The body's of the lamp appear to be galvanized but i could be wrong. The lenses of these lamps are in very nice shape with no visable cracks. One is green and one is red. These lamps appear complete minus the one is missing a part out of the bottom as seen in the picture. The only other issue is that the top of the one lamp has a dent and the top has some minor damage. Other then that they would make a great display piece. These are being sold as is. Up for your viewing pleasure is this Vintage Antique Aluminum Marine Ship/ Boat Tall Navigation Running 2 lens Light. Aluminum we think. Tried to scratch through the coating and it does NOT seem to be bronze. Yes. patina and silver paint of the past. 13" Bottom flange to the top. 4"5/8" Dia across cap not including the spots of the bolts. 9-S-4326-L Number on lid. Looks to be made of aluminum. Added 4 pictures of the lens. For you to check out. Clear lens looks to be in really good condition. No cracks that we can see. Red lens has a crack in it and no chips just the crack. Picture of it added. Did not unbolt it. Each lens may be about 4"1/4" to 4"3/8" Dia. And about 4"3/16" tall. That is a close estimate of size. Again we did not take it apart. Vtg Glass & chrome sail ship night light lamp nautical marine boat
Very nice nautical sail ship night light. Fair shape for it's age. No chips or cracks in the glass bottom. Glass bottom has chipped paint and chrome needs polishing. But it looks so cool lite up! The green and red colored plastic on the deck is cracked on each side, but not very noticable. All sails are there but strings need reattched in a few places. Stands 23 1/2" tall to top of hanger. About 14" wide head on. Top is bent in. I have seen others with the same thing on them and believe it was purposely bent like that to fit on the ships they were used on since its not only this one I've seen like that. Here is a Large 8 inch tall RED LENSE REAL GLASS marked Corning on glass Nautical SHIP. DOCK, or PIER Nautical Light. This 8 inch tall lamp has a 3 1/2 inch tall RED glass bezile lense, There are only a couple of specs on the glass that appears to be in very good condition NO CRACKS. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. VINTAGE CLEAR CAST BRASS SHIP BOAT LIGHT NAVIGATION MARINE Double Globe Pauluhn
Hello up for auction we have a very nice vintage Pauluhn brass double globe navigation ship light. It is very large and has 2 clear globes that are 6 inches in diameter, each globe measures 7 inches tall. The whole light fixture it self measures 9 inches in diameter and is 16 inches tall, it has a clear light on top and a red light on bottom. It is electric and works great. I believe this to be off a big vintage lake Superior ship, not sure which one. The light is in great condition and has a screw top lid. Feel free to ask any questions and Thanks for viewing.

This is a pair of Vintage Perkins Marine Lamps PERKO Boat Lanterns Port and Starboard. Each one measures 10-1/4" tall by 5-1/4" wide by 5-1/4"deep. The lens measures 4" wide. Burner stamped THE NATIONAL MARINE LAMP CO. metal plate on the flat back side has a patent date of APRIL 1ST 1913. 10" tall to the top of the ring on top, 4 3/4" wide, 4 1/2" deep, galvanized metal. The burner is rusted through and is missing one of two metal tabs that held it in place. The metal lantern shows areas of surface rust but is solid and not flimsy in any way, ding on the cupola where the ring is mounted, both pieces of glass in good condition. It would be simple to electrify or even easier to place a battery op light inside and enjoy the colored glass. Offered for your consideration is this nice PAIR of kerosene oil lights. Made by the Marine-Division of the Artistic Brass and Bronze Works New York NY. Each light has a makers tag attached to the front of the base. Both lights look to be pretty complete with oil burner and chimneys still there. Sorry no wall mounting brackets. I am not sure if the wicks are still in them. The knob that raises and lowers the wick is very hard to turn on both lanterns. I think the wick mechanism needs to be cleaned. There is a very minor amount of corrosion on the tops of the bases. Each lantern measures about 18" tall to the top of the handle. Base measures about 7" across. Great Matching Pair of Old. Marine Ship's Lantern Lamps. These look like Brass.and they also look like Bronze.I can't be sure. I DO know that the Handles are Bronze. I am estimating that these probably date back to Late World War I or Early World War II and may well have been used on military vessels and/or Merchant marine vessels. They are Electric and have Rotating Shutters both on the body and in the bottoms of the lamps. In this way, the light could be closed off both from the sides and the bottoms as need be.kind of an early manual rheostat. These both Measure 8" Tall to the top of the Threaded, Screw-in Lid. The lid, itself measures 3 3/4" Diameter and has a 1 1/2" tall Wire Pass-through apparatus. To the top of the extended handle measures 12" The Base of the lantern measures 5 1/2" Diameter. Condition: Number THREE(see pics) is 100% Complete in that it has the little handle sticking off of the side of the rotating shutter for ease of opening and closing the shutter. This is an interesting old lantern. Made from tin and with a glass lens. It reads BOAT SIGNAL LANTERN on the front. When you open the lens, there is a spring loaded lever that slides back to reach the burner. Mirrored on the back side of this. I see no maker marks. The lantern measures 8 3/4" in height and is 3 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. Original black paint shows quite a bit of wear, but the lantern is intact. Neat old lantern. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. Nice pair of unmarked brass weighted bell shaped marine style candlestick. Lacquered. Unmarked. 6+7/8" tall& 1+1/2 lbs each. One part. Applied lipped seats, felted bottom. Two vintage. Great looking lamps that would add to anyone's nautical display. 1 light socket not working and would have to be replaced. A few scratches& scuffs on the wood& metal parts. 1 socket was replaced some time in the past. I was told from a family member at the estate sale that these 2 ship's lamps were purchased in the 1940's by the grand parents. There are no shades or light bulbs supplied with the 2 lamps. As you can see in the photos slot screws were used to assemble the 2 lamps which may help determine it's age. I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each. There is only one mounting bracket, but you can be make another quite easily. Please ask any questions you might have.
