Large Perko Red Ship Boat Oil Lantern Light Lamp Old VTG Antique Nautical Marine
Up for auction is a pair of electrified ship lanterns. I picked these up from a local estate. So I'm unsure the history of these items. Items are dirty and show normal wear from over the years. Please look over all 12 pictures before you bid. Both lanterns look identical. But only one is marked Perko you'll notice that the red globe is marked and the lantern. Antique Vtg Rare Perko Nautical Marine Lantern Port Starboard Combination This cool old Perko nautical lantern is a hard to find model. According to my search for a similar one. The lantern has both port& starboard lenses, with a dividing plate between the ribbed red& deep aqua green glass. The lantern has old silver paint with typical surface age. The interior lamp is brass& shows surface greening. The wick advances. One of the two side mounting brackets on the interior lamp is missing. The lantern displays very nicely& the glass on the lantern is free of any chips or cracks. No dents. It measures 11" high to the top of the holding ring by 4.5" wide and 7" deep. Vtg PERKO SHIPS NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERN LIGHT VERY HEAVY BRASS & THICK GLASS
This is a very thick brass nautical light made by Perko. The red glass is original& also very thick. It was rewired for household current& works. The wire is very short& bared at the end& has a cut in it. So it probably should be replaced. It stands 9 1/2" tall. It has two open threaded fittings(one on bottom& one on back) It also has a smaller hole that the new wiring was ran through. I'm not sure if it was on a ship or maybe even a bridge. It is heavy duty, I put it on a bathroom scale& it registered 10 pounds. The glass is still in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was found in an old estate in northern Michigan right on Lake Huron, so it probably has some history. Unfortunately I do not know the history of it. Set of 3 ANTIQUE PERKO BOAT LAMPS* This is a Nice Antique Nautical Set of PERKO LAMPS in Good Condition. 2 of the Lamps are Orange/ Deep Yellow Towing Lamps ~ 1 is a Stern Lamp. I hear they came off of a Tugboat and would have been stacked Orange White Orange Each of The 3 Pieces measure 9" tall x 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" They can be Hung or Mounted ~ the Brackets on the Back are Complete. The Outside is Galvanized and the Inside is Brass. They are wired and have bulbs in each. There are Brass Tags on the front of each with the Specs& Serial#s* These are Used Antique Items that I feel it to be in Very Good Condition for their Age& Use. Here is a Vintage Perko 1169 Brass/Bronze ship nautical light lamp. This light is in good condition for its age. Please see photos for actual lamp you are bidding on. This globe is marked Perko No. 1 as well. On the top cover it is marked"PERKO" and"bow" with an arrow, and on the bottom it is marked perko, along with the number 1169-74-8. This is a pair of Vintage Perkins Marine Lamps PERKO Boat Lanterns Port and Starboard. Each one measures 10-1/4" tall by 5-1/4" wide by 5-1/4"deep. The lens measures 4" wide. This is a Vintage Perko Ships' Lantern lamp manufactured by the"Perko Perkins Marine Lamp& HDWE Corp. of Boston. Mass. It has a clear Fresnel glass lens that is in very good condition. It has a 4 position on/off switch which allows for either the top, bottom or both lights to be lit. They are in working condition. The shade features a very nice lighthouse and harbor scene. The shade does however show its age and is fragile. The wiring is working, but probably should be replaced for safety's sake. Please examine the photos carefully. VTG PERKO PERKINS MARINE THEME LAMP-Chrome w/ Ship's Wheel
This is a Vintage Perko marine theme lamp manufactured by the"Perko Perkins Marine Lamp& HDWE Corp. of Boston. Mass. Its base features a ship's wheel which is Possibly of the same metal as the rest of the base. The wheel spins freely in both directions and is not at all loose. The finial is an eagle with wings spread. This lamp is in working condition. The wiring is in working condition. The height up to the socket is about 13" the bottom base diameter is 6" and overall wheel diameter is 8" There is a heavy fitting in the base which appears to be metal. Vtg Perkins PERKO Marine Boat Lamp Starboard Bow Green Red Glass Light Lantern
This listing is for a vintage Perkins PERKO Marine boat Kerosene Lamp. Finding one in better condition than this one will be a challenge. The lamp is made of Galvanized metal and has a Brass Top/Finial and the Kerosene lights hardware is made of Brass. The Dark Green and red lens are made of Glass and are chip and damage free. The design of this lamp is different than most others. The inside hardware is accessible from the bottom of the lamp only. It has ingenious spring loaded tabs of each side. If you want to pull out the hardware you simply squeeze the tabs and pull the hardware out. As you can see from the photo's the Brass hardware is in excellent condition and includes what is probably the original wick.I think this lamp has spent most of it's life indoors. The outside Galvanized Metal is also in excellent condition. Nothing ... moreis loose. All corners etc very tight construction. The top finial piece with hanging loop is made of Brass. I did not clean this. Left the original patina. I did however clean the Brass Perkins/ Perko identification tag because I could not read what it says.
