For sale is a"PERKO" brand glass globe for some sort of nautical light or lamp. It is light purple/amethyst in color and is marked"PAT. PEND" in tiny letters on the side. It measures about 2 3/4" tall. The diameter of the bottom is about 1 7/8" and this is the outside measurement of the very bottom edge. The globe is in very nice shape with no damage and just slight wear. The glass is ever so slightly cloudy on the inside but perhaps this can be polished away? He couldn't remember now long ago but he said'decades' I looks on eBay for information and found it was made by Russell& Stoll Co. It is 10 1/2" over all the the wall/boat mount area is a circle that is 6" across the center. It is very heavy at 6 pounds without packageing materials/box. It is in 3 pieces. The case that screws in over the light globe. The glass globe which also screws in and the back that the globe and case both screw into. The glass globe reads in raised glass"P C. CO. and also has a number too that reads"9-S-4971-L" and the globe has no broken glass at all. It is thick and domed. The case is thick metal and embossed"2406B" and"R& ... moreS CO. and has no damage. There is a turn knob on the base that is embossed"R& S CO. N.Y. This is a rare antique bronze conversation piece. Works wonderfully. Eyes light. Bulb in bronze pipe lights. Lamp hangs on the wall. There is a bracket on the back for hanging. There is a button on his chin where you can turn him on and off. Also a switch on the lamp cord. When lite his eyes are blue. You can change his bulb in pipe to also orange or yellow. I have white in bulb in at this time. Wood plaque that bronze is mounted on is in nice condition. The lamp measurements are 9 inches high by 8 inches wide.

Overall this is 10 1/2" and the glass globe. Case and brass lamp do not show any damage. It is a wall mount and the round wall mount area is 6" across the center. The elder estate seller(100 miles north of NYC) said his Uncle lived in Brooklyn NY and owned a tug boat decades ago and this is from the old tug boat. It is very heavy weighing 6 pounds without packageing and box. It was very hard to read but the globe has letters and numbers that look like"9S4971-L" but not positive of the numbers as they are in lightly raised glass. The brasss cage or basket area has no breaks and it reads numbers that look like"24CGH" or something like that is raised brass. The case also reads"R&S CO. which stands for the Russell& Stoll co) There is no other writing anywhere on this 3 pc set so I have no idea how old ... morethis actually is but it is very industrial. The two glass window panes are intact and there is a panel that you open to access the wick of the lamp. The wick does move up and down ... moresmoothly and you remove the top to access the oil reservoir. There are no dents in the brass or damage just normal wear as seen in photos. You simply mount the round brass circle to the wall and slip the oil lantern into it. Anchor Ships Lantern(Not a Reproduction) This is a very large antique ships lantern marked as"Anchor" To the best of my knowledge it has all parts needed to burn oil. Please view pictures to augment my description. It is not electrified and it is NOT a reproduction. Lamp measures a stately 23" to top of handle. 18" tall without handle and at its widest a 10" diameter. With the exception of a dent in the brass at the base the lantern is in excellent condition. Lantern inner chimney has a couple of chips and a crack at the bottom where it sits in base. This can be easily replace but I beleive that this one is original so I will not replace. Extremely nice old ship light. Electric and probably from early 1900's. I got this approx. 50 years ago. The galvanized finish was deteriorating. Instead of spray painting. I had it brass plated. Still looks good- can always paint. Made by Lovell. Arlington, NJ which is on the screw on brass lid. Lens is in very good condition. Approx. 13 1/2" high- base 9 1/2" wide- weighs approx. 12 lbs.

Here is a Large 8 inch tall RED LENSE REAL GLASS marked Corning on glass Nautical SHIP. DOCK, or PIER Nautical Light. This 8 inch tall lamp has a 3 1/2 inch tall RED glass bezile lense, There are only a couple of specs on the glass that appears to be in very good condition NO CRACKS. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. The brass/ copper fixture and threaded globe holder shows some minor wear and aging/ patina to the finish. The spring action is strong inside the lamp socket. The globe/ shade threads on and off fixture base properly. It's a antique Perko flashlight boat light. Measures 14" tall. Would clamp onto any boat or dingy. The only damage is in pic#5. It has some cracking in thread area. So if you put batteries in it, it pops open because threads won't give a firm fit. No corrosion, and takes batteries. Lights nicely, see pic#10. Looks brass and tin. You are bidding on the large antique maritime nautical lamp as described in the listing title and as seen in the 11 photos. If there is an issue with the item that for some reason does not show in the photos I will let you know. This is an untouched lamp that has not been molested into an electric lamp. Nice bright red lens and marked"port" on the top. I believe this was a gas light. Very minor chips and flea bites to the front lens but the red lens is good with no issues. I opened the back door to the unit and held it up to the sun to shine through in one photo. Very heavy and solid lamp. Measures 13 7/8" tall minus the handle and 8" ... moreacross each diagonal side on the back. No makers mark or other indication of who made it found. Would make a fantastic lamp! WOW! I am selling of a collection of vintage boating items for an old friend that doesn't use the internet. Here as on old vintage wall lamp that is a combo of an old bow light and light fixture. It is OLD! Look at the twisted rope style connection between the wall mounting plate and the old bow light. Of course the red and green bow light lenses are glass. I believe a company that made bow lights also offered these lamps. Maybe Perko Kainer. Or Wilcox Crittenden. There is an on/off switch on the side of the bow light itself. This light needs to be rewired. I'm going to run this auction for no more then a couple times and if it doesn't sell I'm going to rewire it and buy it myself! Antique Perko Stern Lantern w/ Red Lens, vintage boat lamp, Nautical
Antique PERKO lantern. The screw-on cap looks to be brass and the rest of it appears to be galvanized. The red plastic lens has a piece broken off it in the upper corner. There is a bulb inside but the filament looks broken so it would have to be replaced when the wiring is fixed. There is a large dent in the back of the lamp. I think it could be pressed in an arbor press to look a lot better. There's some rust. Some dirt, some paint and that's how things go on ships. Vintage lantern would great in your collection.
