I have a pair of rare vintage brass Perko marine ship's lamps or lanterns. They used to be kerosene or oil but were converted to electric. They are in wonderful shape with no dents or damage and everything is intact. they do however have wear that is consistent with age. Each lantern has a finger lamp inside that is removable as shown in the pictures. A 4 inch reflector/ mirror, and 3 glass panels. Each is also stamped with a brass tag that reads" PERKO Manufacturer's Reg. Trademark Perkin's Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another stamp on the back that reads the same thing. They both measure almost 14" tall. one being about 1/4" taller than the other one. You can definitely tell that these gems were handmade. These are very cool nautical decorations or gifts!

Super rare. Get it before it's gone! I have a beautiful. Pristine, antique brass marine ship light fixture. Dates before 1910 when they no longer had raised lettering on the glass globe. It's been wired for electric but there if no really alterations from that alteration, I just has a single wire through the top. NO CRACKS, DENTS or RUST. This is just in great condition! 19 inches tall! I have not seen any of these with the milky glass. Only clear and red glass. These are referred to as"onion" due to the globe. OLD MARINE BRONZE CAGED SHIP LIGHT FIXTURE
Up for auction I have this very nice old bronze Pauluhn brand vapor tight caged ship light fixture. It is constructed very heavy and in very good shape as shown in the pictures. The glass protective jar cover is in perfect shape with no scratches pits or chips. The rubber gasket to seal it is still in good. Not deteriorated yet. The Edison bulb socket is in ideal shape as well with hardly any corrosion going on at all. The cage threats are nice and screws really easy. The fixture has one wire compression fitting on one side of it as well as seen in the picture. This fixture is aged but been kept in a very controlled environment all this time. The star of the show in this large vintage"Perko" brass lantern is the stunning heavy red glass Fresnel lens. As you can see. Sitting in front of a window it looks like the light is turned on.Very heavy with the brass construction. Pair 19 th Century Brass PERKO Ship Lanterns Lamp Antique Nautical Marine Large Here is another nice barn find; a pair of brass ship lanterns that I believe to be Perko. Although I could not find any markings. Use your own judgment. And look at the pictures carefully. They probably date back to the 1890s. The brass has been painted over with black paint. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. One lantern still has its mounting bracket. And the globe has a crack on the side(approx. 3” long) Also that cap on top is missing a small piece where it would attach to the lantern. Antique ' Perko ' Nautical Marine Ship Lantern - Port Side Ruby RED Lens
Antique PERKO lantern with a thick Ruby Red lens which has a tiny chip. The lantern measures approximately 10 1/2" high(not including the handle- 1 3/4" and 7" wide. It has little Christmas Tree vents at the top and at the posterior bottom. Hinged door opens to an interior ring. Interior burner is missing. The well known PERKO company has been making marine lanterns since the early 1900's in Brooklyn. NY. I have no idea how old this lantern is. It doesn't appear to have been altered or painted and has a gorgeous vintage patina. TIP: For those of us lacking in Nautical skills. 2 Antique Nautical Marine Ship Lanterns Port and Starboard Red and Blue Glass
Up for bidding are these estate sale finds of 2 Vintage Marine Port and Starboard Ships lanterns. They measure approx 11 1/2" h x 7" w. They have a triangle shape. With great patina one is basically grey and the other one red. The grey one has a blue glass with ridges and the red one has a red glass with ridges. No major dents. They weigh 2 lbs. each. Vintage Antique Durkee Marine Galvinized Huge Ship Lantern Staten Island NY
Very Large Vintage Antique Ship's Lantern Old estate find. This is a very large lantern made by Durkee Marine Products of Staten Island, NY. It is made of an old galvanized metal. With an iron folding handle on the top. The handle has a loop for hanging. There is a large round shade, and a heavy thick glass shade. The lantern is flat in the back where it looks like it would be mounted. Somewhere along the way. Someone decided to electrify the lantern. There is an electric cord that comes out through the top and a light fixture inside. The cord has a plug and a switch. The bottom piece that I guess was the oil tank at one time has a cut out opening that is used to access the light bulb. There is some wear to the finish as you would expect with the age, and there is the opening in the bottom. Lantern measures 26" tall to the top of ... morethe handle.
