This is a beautifully. Rare, 1940's? cut overlay whale oil lamp that has been converted to an electrical lamp. The cut overlay not only features a coin spot look, it also has wonderful designed shapes along with a rare diamond cut design that just make this lamp look like an absolute show piece. This item has a brass stem with a marble base. This is not only a fantastic piece of history, but also an elegant piece to just show off in your home. VERY RARE ANTIQUE JAPANESE NIPPON SENTO NAUTICAL SHIP BRASS LANTERN SIGNAL LAMP
For sale is an Antique Japanese Nippon Sento Co. Ltd. Ships Brass Oil Signal Lamp Lantern. This is a very rare lantern I have never seen another one like it listed on Ebay. The lamp is in excellent condition as evident by the photos. It has a very nice patina on the outside and looks great as is. Or can easily be polished for a brilliant shine. The lamp has a wooden handle, and on the left side of the lamp is a thumb toggle switch that opens and closes an aperture behind the lens that allows the light to have the appearance of turning on and off. I'm no expert, but I believe the lamp was designed for semaphore which is a method of using light to visually communicate with another ship, or from ship to shore, and vice a versa. A rare vintage Ethan Allen featured nautical lamp. The beautiful lantern lamp has a flickering bulb in the lantern. And a 3 way light switch, which controls both the lamp and the lantern. On each side of the lantern is a railing with belaying pins, giving this lamp an authentic nautical look. The base of the lamp is 14" in length. 9.5" in width, and 2" in depth. The lamp stands 31" to the top of the harp where the shade sets. The shade measures 12" in diameter on top, 14" on the bottom, and is 12" in height. The wood on the lamp may have some scuffs marks or nicks, but it appears to be in great condition for it's age. This beautiful nautical lamp will definitely fit in with any decor.

Rare. Civil War vintage bull’s eye running lamp This charming little veteran of the sea has three bulbous glass lenses- red, white and blue respectively. The red and blue lenses indicate“port and starboard, while the clear lens shows the vessel’s forward movement, otherwise known as a“bow light. The back is equipped with a hinged door with pin lock which supports a riveted bracket for mounting. The interior contains the original oil burner and font which slides in with a tight fit. The back of the door retains the original silvered reflector which amplified the lamp’s light output. Some damage from age on the top show in picture given the fact it is approximately 150 years old.

Vintage Rare Adlake Maritime Nautical Aluminum Electric Bridge Lamp No 1335. It has the red and green 60° draw span. Two green lenses and two red lenses 90° apart. The top and bottom caps are made of aluminum the bolts and stretchers between the lenses are made of cast-iron. It is electrified and it does work but I would recommend rewiring it just to be on the safe side. There is some rust and paint loss and it needs to be cleaned. The lenses are thick and heavy, made by Corning. The lenses have some chips but they are not cracked. It is about 11 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide. It is heavy about 16 1/2 pounds after it's packaged so shipping will be expensive I will try to ship the item as economical as possible. Please review all photos for item condition before bidding. Rare 1920's original 8" fog bell lamp marked on inside of bell. PERKO, Perkins M.S. Co. Bklyn, N.Y. 07-61" Since I couldn't find a similar Perko fog-bell-lamp form anywhere, I contacted the Perko Marine Lamp Corp in Miami Florida with photos of the lamp. They said that this was originally manufactured by Perkins in this lamp-form and that it is not a custom piece made outside the factory by an individual. In their library they found only a 1920 and a 1932 catalog. In the 1920 catalog, they found a lamp that had similar fittings. I believe the markings inside the bell date this lamp to sometime between 1922 when the"PERKO" trademark was created and 1932 when the company name was changed to Perko Marine Lamp and Hardware Corp. It has a well-aged patina. Height from bottom of base to top of eagle finial is 20" ... moreDiameter of bell is 8" Bell has a wonderful resonant. Distinctive fog bell sound. Lamp is in good working order. Not sure if the wiring has been changed at all- the electrical plug is the old-style with prongs of even width. Some black electrical tape on bottom as you can see in photo. Shade is a replacement. Condition generally very good with no cracks or dings- pls see closeup photos. Here is a brass oil lamp is marked but is written in German I think please see photos.the The lamp looks to be in very good condition. It may be off of a ship or train. It has a bracket to mount it to a bulkhead or a wall that is with it. Just mount the bracket to the bulkhead or wall and the lamp just slides into the bracket so it can removed to refuel the light. You can also just remove the burner and tank to refuel the lamp.The lamp is approximately 15" tall by 5 deep by 12 wide. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. Gimbaled to balance on a ship, is in great antique condition with some patina. It stands approximately 3 ¾” high and is approximately 9” to the end of the horn. The hallmark appears on the gimbaled portion of the handle. It takes a 3/16” round wick(not included) The base of the lamp appears to be brass, the flame cap copper and we are unsure of the metal in the wick holder. The glass is melon shaped and very heavy. Up for bid is a very neat original circa 1780-1815 Naval ships cannon igniter/smoking lamp. The lamp measures 14.75 x 5 inches and is blacksmith made with a swinging hinge and hook so the lamp stayed level and did not tip over on the ship causing a fire. These lamps were used as cannon igniters and also for smoking purposes aboard ships of the era. Offered with no reserve. A rare Perkins Marine Lamp. This is made by the Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Company of Brooklyn New York. Has a small brass ID tag just under the toggle switch. See picture#3. The lamp stands 15" tall and is 7" in diameter at the base. Copper construction. Features 2 tie down hooks at the base. Also has hook on the top cover. There are several metal"arms" that protect the globe. One of these is missing the top screw. See second to last picture. This is a dry cell battery operated lamp. It appears the necessary wires are in place. See pics#6.7,8, cannot guarantee the lamp will light and it was not tested) There is a on/off toggle switch just above the ID tag that has a screw on"cover nut" attached to a chain. See pics#3 and 4. This piece was purchased at an estate sale of a collector. I don't know much about it except that it is vintage from the 1960s-70s. The condition is excellent for its age. With the only noticable wear being on the base. Needs a new bottom glued back on. Can put any color c7 bulb in the bottom portion. See photos for details. The lamp has three possible settings, 1-just the top, 2-just bottom part is lit, 3-both top and bottom are lit. The height of the entire lamp is 22 without lightbulb. An interior reflector, two handles attached to a latched and hinged access door, all brass construction with soldered joints and wind proof exhaust. This is a great antique nautical find This is a ships table lamp light. Keyhole on bottom attaches it to table or wall to hold secure and yet can be removed. Comes with an extra long cord with a toggle switch for turning on and off. Older cord may want to update if using or leave original cord for collecting.
