For your consideration today is a beautiful example of a 4 inch. Handheld Aldis lantern used as a ships' signal light. Included. Is an old custom made oak box with a missing handle/strap, an extra blue lens and connecting cable with brass fittings. The extra lens does have a crack as shown in the photo. I did look for identifying marks, but none were found. What looks like a nameplate on the side and another on the bottom of the unit, is rubbed clean evidently from years of use. Although I don't have a power source to test this lamp. When I depress the switch, I get a good continuity reading on my ohmmeter, and when released, it shows none. This tells me that the cable, switch and lamp are still good. The signaling trigger appears to work, as when it is pulled, the mirror does pivot slightly up and down. The areoscope(telescopic sight) ... moreis clear and the sighting cross-hairs are crisp and visible. All-in-all, for its age, this wonderful piece of maritime history is in good condition. This is an authentic original nautical/maritime portside glass lamp enclosure that many years ago was fashioned into a simply put. Fantastic lamp. There is a socket on the inside that illuminates the red glass and I must say that it looks incredible lit up. Obviously there is a socket at the top as well that will require the lamp shade of your choosing to complete the piece. I chose not to clean and scrub the piece so as to depict the age and authenticity more clearly. This is absolutely not a reproduction. I believe this starboard red lamp enclosure sat atop a piling somewhere in some waterway for who knows how many years. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead. Cabin/wardroom lamp. Stands 16" high. 20" high with the handle upright, 8 1/2" wide x 6" deep. The unit has a three sided glass face. With a right side access door. The burner is made to come out to fill. It also has a key that the wick can be put up or down without opening the door. The chimney also opens up the top section for cleaning or service. During the days of televisions inside decorative cabinets that also served as an elegant piece of furnature. Sat on top of gramp's beloved American made Magnavox tube television long before the days of wall-mounted LCD's. Measures 12 1/2" tall x 11" long x 2 3/4" wide at widest point(base) Weighs almost 2 lbs. Lamp is in good working condition. Newer electrical wiring/cord. Uses a Christmas light bulb. Which unscrews from the back for replacement. Currently features a blue bulb. I have no idea how old the bulb might be or how much longer it will work before replacement. Antique Collectible Perkins Marine Maritime Nautical Lamp Lantern NO RESERVE
Perkins Marine Lantern/Lamp Mfrd by: Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation. Brooklyn, NY This is a highly collectible antique marine lantern/lamp. This was inherited from a grandparent and has been in my storage for at least a decade alone. I do not know the exact age but can only guess it is at least 50 years plus. This lantern has a chain attached to hang from a ceiling or other and takes a standard lightbulb. I do not know if this was the original configuration or it was modified like this. It has not been damaged by other modifications like similar lamps offered on eBay that are attached to bases or made into lamps. I have never polished this item so I assume it is brass and not copper. The dimensions are approximately 18 in. from the top of the handle to the bottom of base. It is 14 and 3/4 in. tall without the handle. The width is approximately ... more7 and 1/2" The condition is excellent except two minor spots. First. All of the rods that protect the glass are all present in place and not bent or otherwise damaged. However, the top of one of the rods(see photo) is loose. This will need to be re-brazed in place which I am told is a easy and cheap fix. The second spot is a small dent on the base of the lantern(see photo) This could be hammered out easily or left alone to show the lamps character. The glass is clear and intact but has a minor nick or two in a couple of the ridges which are not noticeable without searching for, but there are NO Cracks or other damage to the glob. Similar lamps on eBay have starting prices of almost $200 and go past $500 and do NOT include shipping. And they are missing parts and in far worse condition. Just the replacement glass alone goes for at a minimum of $50 to $100. I hope you get a great bargain on this beautiful antique. There is NO reserve and shipping is FREE! Good Luck!

1960s Nautical Maritime All Wood Table Lamp-Anchor-Beer Keg-Bar Room
In super condition is this 1960s All Wooden Table Lamp in a Nautical Maritime theme. The Lamp has a large anchor resting on its side against a big beer keg. The Beer Keg is made of wooden staves and metal hoops. It has a spigot in front. Near the Keg is a wooden Beer Stein wrapped in metal hoops. The Lamp is framed in real rope around the top and around the recessed base. The base is kidney shape and is thick solid wood. The“floor” of the base is grooved to represent a ship’s floor. The Lamp is all original and comes with its original neck. Harp, finial and cord set. The light switch is a 3-way light switch and works on all 3 levels. The Base has its original green felt surface protectors. The Lamp measures 29” high to the top of the harp; 13” high to the top of the upper rope, 11” wide and 10” deep. The Harp measures 9” high. Antique "Viking" Ship Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp Kerosene Lantern
Vintage Viking Kerosene anchor light. Not sure of the age but not antique. I see other Viking brand lanterns listed as true antiques but I don't believe they are or that this one is. Everything works. It stands 15" tall. 6 1/2" deep and 6 1/2" wide. The glass is all in good condition. No dents, breaks or flaws that I can see. The material seems to be all brass except the rolled edges and corners are brass rolled over a steel rod. This lantern is dirty and needs cleaning but i will leave that up to the purchaser, I am selling as found. This will make a beautiful display or actually use it! This is one of the most creative spotlights I've seen to date. Normally you see spotlights on tripods. But I created something that is outside the box! The Spotlight is easy to move around or could be used as a table lamp. Or floor lamp. The spotlight measures 10" in diameter, 19" height. and 12" at the widest point of wooden base. The caster wheels are vintage. The wooden base is an old vintage chopping block, and the spotlight came off an old 1940's truck. Vintage twisted cloth(not rayon) lamp cord measures 6' long. With an on/off rotary switch with vintage plug. Spotlight has beautiful patina, and age that adds unique character. Antique Vintage Wedge Brass lantern, maritime lamp, nautical light mine railroad
amazing antique vintage brass oil lantern. I dont know exactly the age of the piece but it is in really good shape. The main material is brass with cool copper rivets, there are a couple steel pieces that keep the piece together. the lantern has the original patina it has not been cleaned, some people prefer it like that. this is an estate sale find in great condition, measurements 4 1/2 deep 4 1/2 wide this measurements are of the box only by 9 1/2 tall. please feel free to contact me with any questions, thanks you.

1920's Maritime Nautical Neptune Oil Lamp Brass Ships Lantern
Vintage 1920's maritime brass oil burning ships lantern. I have not polished it but it seems to be in great condition. There is no corrosion to the brass and the glass sides and chimney have no chips or cracks and there is just a small dent on the top. It is missing the wick. Please look at pictures closely. It measures about 15" tall without the handle extended and 6.5" wide. The plate in front is engraved Neptune.

It measures from the bottom to the top of the handle approx 24" and Width at the widest point is approx. 12 1/2" and weighs 15 lbs. It is constructed of Copper and Brass. It is Kerosene with a Red Lens to be used as a Nautical Maritime Signal Lamp. But I am not expert and am trying to give you the best description and details that I can. This is a great nautical piece in good condition! It appears to be complete. The metal rim around the top of the red lens is a bit loose. It has great patina. Antique Perko 1256 Hand Held Nautical/Maritime Lamp-Glass Globe
This old lamp has a metal protective screen around the original glass shade and a wooden handle below the lamp as opposed to a metal swinging handle above the lamp. The metal cage is a little bent. And the handle has a crack running full length on one side and a smaller crack near the bottom, as shown in our photos. The base is marked Perko with the number 1256. The glass globe has a“P” embossed near the base. Then numbers“9(S-3129-L” followed by“Type O. The handle has a threaded fitting on the bottom so it could be mounted on a corresponding fitting somewhere. But the threads are corroded. Looks like it will all unscrew to get at the innards, but I did not force it. From the hook on top to the bottom of the handle is about 13” Shipping is $12.00 anywhere in the U.S. via USPS Priority. Amazing Chase USA Ship's Lamp Red & Blue Maritime Vintage Nautical Light!
This is such a wonderful piece; almost hate to part with it. It is marked underneath. Chase! Measures 8.5" tall and 4.5" across its base. No cracks or chips to glass. There is all over ware to the brass, but in my opinion that adds character and tells a story. As you can see by the pics, it works in both places.
