The base has two mount holes that are about 3 1/2 inches on center of each other. The globe is glass and in good condition. The light weighs over 3 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage. The cage and the globe unscrew as one piece on this design. The cage screw on and off with little effort. This light has been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of 250 volts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 50 watts or less. The new wires exit the light from one of the original conduit holes. This light can be used inside or outside. It will never rust! This is a used light that was recovered during one our many different salvage operations. It will have minor surface wear and patina from being used on a working vessel. If you have questions. Vintage Boat Nautical Bow Light Glass Lenses Original Finish
This listing is for one bow light with green and red glass lenses in excellent original condition. To show how the light would look lit up. I took out the original bulb assembly and placed the housing over a Christmas bulb(not included. The original light bulb is a Mazda 6-8 volt. The socket is in working condition, just insert the two wires into the holes and tighten the set screws. The chrome finish is shiny with a few light scratches and overall looks new. The screws that hold the glass in are all original and all there. The original stainless steel mounting screws, washers and nuts are included. The glass says K S 900. It measures 6" front to back, 3 1/2" tall and 4" wide at the base. I do not know what kind of boat this came from, possibly Chris Craft? This would look great put back into service on a boat or in a nautical ... morebar setting.

Antique Perko Ships Light Up for sale is the light housing seen in the photos. This is a very rare model. The glass is not there. I bought it and the glass was missing. I took pictures of the inside to show what is there, it looks like it is pretty empty. This would be the perfect restoration project either to original condition or make it an electric piece. With the handle raised as seen in the first photo the piece is 18 inches tall. I am assuming it is brass, it is non magnetic and it looks more like brass than copper to me. This is for one vintage– antique red glass lens for a boat light. Ship light, shore light or lantern. It is in the shape of half of a cylinder. The lens is in the shape of a Fresnel lighthouse style lens. It is red glass through and through. Not just red on the surfaces. It is 7 3/8 inches tall and 7 7/8 inches wide at it's widest. It has an inside diameter of 6 9/16 inches. It has a molded in rabbit or stepped edge for mounting in the lantern on the top and bottom. On the top edge it has"Corning Made in U.S.A. molded in the glass. The side edges have grind marks from making it flat there. There are some small chips on the edges. There are no cracks or repairs on it. It came from Duluth, Minnesota. Duluth is at the west end of Lake Superior and has a large ocean going ship harbor. Antique Dietz Brass Maritime Dark Lantern Red Glass Ship Light
Here's a great old Dietz marine lantern in excellent condition. See Condition. From my research I believe it's circa 1917-1918. It's a dark lantern. With a brass sheath that pulls up to protect the glass. The sheath has numerous cracks around it(as most do) and is difficult to push back down(thus, no photos of it) Size is 11 1/4" tall x about 6 3/4" across the bottom. Aside from a few minor dings I can't find any fault with this lantern. If you know old lanterns, you'll most likely conclude, as I did, that it has much less wear than one would expect. Antique Brass Ship's Light Contains correct and highly sought after cobalt blue globe. A rare find. Cord including on/off switch is in good shape. Works as it should. Globe has chip to the lip that sits between the housing and lid. This chip is not visible when lid is on and light is lit. Both sliding doors(front/bottom) are present which makes this an even rarer find. It stands 12 inches high with about a 6 inch diameter. We were in charge of clearing out all of the brass heating pipes and all the left over items on board that did not meet the requirements of the owners. THIS is one of those items. Antique ship light that has been wired to now be a working electric light. Mount to your dock to find your way home or to your boat for a cool look! Body is copper. May have had a thin brass coating at one time. 12" red glass lens is in great shape and is pebbled inside. Entire light measures 23" tall and is 15" front to back. There are three large clip hinges that hold the lens rim in place. At the top of the light you can see the two small stationary hinges(one is broken) so that the lens and trim ring can be lifted up but remain attached. Even though one of these is broken. The lens and trim ring are held securely by not only the remaining hinge but the three much larger ... moresnap hinges at the top and sides of the light. The light has an iron base with four big screws for mounting. There used to be a mercury glass reflector that fit the back of the light's interior. Only shards of it were left when I found this light. The gentlemen I purchased it from said his mother had aluminum foil inside for a reflector. She had it mounted on their boat dock and they used it to find their way home. The light has a long industrial electric cord on it and works great(see pics) Light has a great look! They don't make them like this anymore! I have not attempted to clean or polish the brass housing. But with a bit of elbow grease, it would probably shine up. Weighs 24 pounds unboxed. zipedit] Description• This is a fantastic vintage 1930-40's era Nautical Maritime ceiling light fixture. The thick pressed glass shade has a soft pink finish with clear glass sailboats and anchors. The clear glass rim has a rope design and the bottom has a fabulous starburst sunburst compass pattern. The ceiling canopy has been refinished and has a copper colored metal ships wheel cover attached to a clear pressed glass telescope. The fixture has also been refinished and uses 3 bead chains that hold and suspend the shade. It has been completely rewired with a new porcelain socket and wiring. The glass shade measure 10.25" wide and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips. Cracks or loss of finish. Antique American Naval KEROSENE SEARCH LIGHT Red Green Glass Jewels Silver Plate

We offer you this Nautical Gem, an Original Antique American 19th century to World War 1/ WWI US Naval Kerosene Search Light, in near mint condition(see condition description) As found condition, comming with other military lots we have listed up for Penny Auctions right now. This type of search light was used by all branches of Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. Impressive specimen, this one guarantees it was made for a more important/ wealthy clientelle. Equiped with all original pieces, dissasembles as you can see in the last set of photos. Canister on bottom unscrews, so does the top, and the very top(reticulated mushroom ... morevent cap) The gmagnifying glass in the front is present, and nice, held in by the"scissor" mechanisam safety(round) wire, which comes out the side, end by squeezing them together, realeases the glass. On two sides of the glass are two magnificent large jewels, one Green and one Red, signifying the traditional"Starboard" and"Port" side. Below the head of the lamp is a lever which could go three ways, as the signes say to"off" to the left, water" in the middle and"on" to the right. Lever moves like a charm, and it has a saw bracket above, to hold it in place at desired strength. Below the lever is the Mounting Clamp going outward on a slight angle, which is made of different much stronger metal, and displays different aging(slight rust) Bottom canister is fine, unscrews like a charm. Size is large 7.75" tall, 5.5" deep with the clamp, 3" deep without and 3.5" wide. Glass rim is 3.5" and glass is 2.5" diameter. Offered here is a LARGE Vintage cast bronze brass marine light that has a stunning heavy red glass Fresnel lens. Sitting this in front of a window it looks like the light is turned on- This piece is Very heavy with the brass construction- embossed 9-S-4461-L on top. There is some patina and light scratches on cast bronze brass housing-looking down into center of lens glass. Part of the electrical cord remains inside- This piece sits on a wood blog base with the cord that enters the bottom of lantern and runs thru the center of wood block base that measures 9" x 9 1/2" This Fresnel lantern light overall height is 7 1/2" sitting on wood block and weighs more than 13 lbs. This red glass lantern has Fresnel lens all-round lantern with protective brass bars and bronze screw on top. Good vintage condition; no dents in the brass and ... moreonly a couple small sliver chips on a couple of louvers of red fresnel glass; The brass lid is a bit tight for me to screw on and off using a wrench. This piece was made to use as a table light- with outlet cord and plug that looks older. Plugs in fine and needs a bulb- but I could not open top with bolts- my hands were not strong enough to turn wrench. It likely needs a small bulb and would work fine. ANTIQUE VINTAGE MILK GLASS AND ALUMINUM MOUNTED BOAT LIGHT
Vintage mounted boat light. The milk glass shade screws onto the housing that looks to be cast aluminum. The aluminum has been painted grey at some point and is chipping off in some areas. The socket is encased within the housing and is mounted to a 4 1/2" diameter of wood. The light is 4 1/4" deep extending from the wall and the light shade is 4 1/2" diameter. There are no markings on them.

Fabulous Antique Ships Light Music Box Folk Art Piece Heavy Glass Brass Lantern

Which is hidden underneath the top. The story behind this item is that ships lanterns and light fixtures were salvaged to make gifts. Much like upcycling is today. This light fixture/lantern was believed to be from a passenger ship, circa 1929. IT does appear to have been cleaned at some point, or this was possibly an inside lantern because there is very little pitting and wear from the salty air. We cannot confirm this story. But we assured the consignor we would share it with interested parties. The glass is heavy. Cut glass, with brass accents. The music box is semi-crude, but plays perfectly. When you look through the top of the lantern, you can see an embossed"Japan" ... morein reverse on the glass bottom. The light/lantern is not functioning as a lantern any more. All lantern parts have been removed. This is an AS IS auction- the age of the piece cannot be confirmed. But it is certainly beautiful! Measures 11" tall and 16 1/2" in circumference. Here is a neat. Old maritime light. It's a wall-mounted light. The casing around the glass is aluminum. I'm pretty sure the anchor on top is brass. The glass is ribbed.it has no cracks or breaks. I do not see a Maker's name anywhere.so I couldn't tell you who made it. Right now it is wired to just be plugged into a socked.someone put the end on it. You can easily wire it directly to the wall, if desired. It uses one standard size bulb. From the base to the top of the anchor measures approx. 9 1/2" tall. The glass.the part that is showing) is about 3" tall and 4" in diameter. The center of the glass sort-of'bubbles' outward. No cracks or breaks. It has been stored for some time so it would need a good cleaning. Would make a terrific addition to any collection.hope it's'hanging around' by you, ... moresoon! It was removed from a Great Lakes Freighter before the ship was scrapped, and has been sitting in my garage for over 25 years. The Search Light measures 21 inches by 18 3/4 inches, and has an 18 inch glass. The post with yoke measures 77 inches tall. The Search Light is in very good condition ready for restoration.
