Cast brass F H Lovell ships light Chas Cory & Son Clear Globe Vintage Antique
I put a cord on this and it tested fine. The Chas Cory globe is very old. There are bubbles and distortions in the glass. It's a work of art in my eyes. The globe was washed in soapy water. It came out very nice. The brass was cleaned with a rag but not polished. Put this on a base and you will have a fine desk lamp. The possibility's are endless for this light fixture. It has the look it just needs a new home.

Fresh from an estate nautical collection is a Vintage PERKO Brass Ship Lantern. Glass marked Perkins Mfr. Anchor, Lens No. 21. This brass navigation lamp has been electrified for modern use and is in very good condition for its age. No breaks or cracks, marks on glass is reflection from camera light flash. Some minor scratches as to be expected on a Lamp this old, some soldering, needs plug, one cage wire slightly bent. Rare Antique Perko all brass anchor light/masthead powered by dry cell battery. Made by the Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corporation This item was listed in the 1939 Catalog but not the 1934. according to a person on Ebay that sent me a message about it. Also he said he has not seen one on Ebay for the last 4 years. I cannot find another one of these on the internet or Ebay. Perfect mint condition. but missing wire handle. This item is 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide. My understanding of this rare piece was to take it aloft and place on mast during anchor at night. Complete with an Inner Brass Oil Kerosene Lantern Burner It has a Wide Hanging Handle, Punched Vents. It is in Good-very good Vintage Condition, There is expected tarnish/patina present There is a small non sharp chip on the top door glass within the beveling. Ther door hinge is a little warped but it closes and latches ok measurement are: 13-1/2"tall including the handle. Approximately 4" wide across the lantern body, 5-1/4"wide across glass pane's x 51/4" wide across bottom. The oil container unscrews for filling, there is an unused wick inside the oil container. Here is a very old QUALITY made BRASS/ BRONZE? NAUTICAL SHIP LIGHT. This ANTIQUE NAVIGATION light has a 6 1/2 inch base across and is about 5 1/2 inches tall. This light has really nice AGED PATINA and is a GREAT SHOW DISPLAY PIECE. there ARE 5 base bolts with this light. There are no interior parts. The glass shows on only 1/2 side of the light which was probably for a forward facing deck light. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WAS FROM A SHIP MAST? There are no makers marks. Very HEAVY about 7 lbs. The glass has a couple of flake specs see photo3 that are normal for a light this age. There is not cracks that go through only the flakes. This is a great nautical ANTIQUE FROM A TIME GONE BY. All parts are made with heavy gauge copper and brass. The lens is thick heavy glass. You can see some small air bubbles inside the glass) This is truly a quality lamp that will last for many years. Up for auction is this antique or vintage brass nautical lantern. I am uncertain of its exact age as I could not find another in my internet search. Wonderful original patina and in great working condition. It is really quite heavy. Weighing over 7 lbs. Ceramic neck inside; ribbed glass. I do not know if this was originally in a ceiling hanging down or on a deck standing up.the more knowledgeable ebay maritime collector knows more than me! Measures approx. 10 3/4" h x 4 3/4" w. Vintage Antique STERN Nautical Hong Kong Copper Brass Oil Navigation Lantern 9"
This lantern was probably acquired in Singapore where my father-in-law operated a salvage diving business in the 70's.he was US Navy Diver. Who spent a lot of time on boats-and then driving ships, once he retired. The wick is trimmed, slides securely down and there is a reflector that slides in behind it. The wick cap does not click securely to the oil reservoir, though. The thumb wheel turns the wick up and there is one to open the hatch to pull up and refill the reservoir. The top clicks down securely where the ring is positioned. I have some better pictures but am having some trouble uploading from that camera. Email me if you would like to see more.

These were purchased by my parents in an antiques shop in Upper Michigan near Lake Superior back in the 50's.They were used by them in their nautical themed summer hone for about 20 years then packed away in the attic until found this week. They are very nice and can be either lit up green and red in the glass area if desired by a switch or used a single or double lamp by individual chain pulls. These are in excellent working condition. Vintage/Antique Ship's Brass Collectible Large Nautical working Lantern
Here is a Brass Boat Lantern Nautical. Vintage, Brass, Working, Large heavy duty. There is no name on it but the glass has VIM on it. The glass is special because it is thick glass and this is made so it is a much brighter light so you can much further away that regular glass. It weights approx. 6 3/4 lbs. by its self. Measures approx. 18" Tall( out handle it is about 14" tall) x 6 3/4" D. You unscrew the screw on top to open, lift the tank out by the lifter handles, unscrew wick, fill tank, screw wick back in place, put tanker back in place by the lifter handles and you are ready to go. Most of the time the lifter handles are missing. Only thing I see wrong not bad is a very small chip in glass(see last picture) Insurance will be required. Questions are welcomed. VINTAGE PERKO BRASS/GLASS BOW LIGHT VINTAGE PERKO BOW LIGHT Up for sale is a nice estate find vintage Perko bow light for a boat/nautical vessel. It is made out of brass and has one side with green ribbed glass and the other side with red ribbed glass. There is also a divider made of brass that separates the two colors from view of passing ships on the high seas(sometimes seen missing or damaged on other lights) The brass has a nice patina from many decades of life. There is a decent size dent on the slightly-domed top(please see photos) The side of the light is marked with Perko's logo and company info. Being made in Brooklyn,NY. My guess as to age would be from around the 1930s or 40s. It could be even earlier-back into the 20s or so- but I'm not certain. The glass is in good condition. With no major breaks, cracks or scratches. ... morethere is normal wear consistent with age on both red and green glass(in the center particularly- please see photo) Also. Each of the red and green also have a very small chip in one of the thin ribs that runs laterally across the glass. Overall this is a really nice piece of maritime/nautical memorabilia, that could even possibly be used in a full-blown restoration of an old Chris-Craft or something. Antique/Vintage Brass/Copper Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp with Beveled Glass
This antique brass/copper oil lamp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful patina. Only 2 tiny dings at the very top of the chimney about 2mm wide. It measures 13.5"H by 7" W. I can not find a makers mark. But I don't want to polish it to find out. Many antique dealers prefer brass or copper items in there natural aged state. The glass is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and is beveled. Still has the original oil container with wick and the wick turner does rotate.

NICE Old Antique Vintage 1930's 1940's Chris Craft Perko Brass Pole Glass Light. This is an originnal. Complete and unaltered pole and light. It measures 25 inches high. The diameter measures 3/8 inches. The diameter of the glass ball lens measures 1 1/2 inches. The glass has no cracks or chips. There is a bulb inside that has not been tested. I have not taken it a part. The original cloth cover wire extends from the bottom. There is no damage to the brass pole. I do not know exactly what this came off. It has its original patina and it looks nice. This is a nice opportunity if you can use it. Shipping in the U.S. lower 48 states is $8.85
