The drawer fronts have book-matched crotch mahogany veneers and cockbeading. The fitted interior(sorry for the dust) has burl walnut veneers, ebonized pulls and boxwood stringing. The interior cupboard door opens to reveal a drawer with a secret drawer behind. See photo) The desk measures 44" high by 39 1/2" wide by 20" deep. In overall very good condition. There is some minor loss to the veneer on the feet which we will restore for you. The desk lid is cupped which makes the desk impossible to lock properly though we do have a key. I don't think we want to try to address this particular issue but please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. There is also some cracking of the veneer on the lid but it is all stable, nothing loose. The desk has great color and patination and is guaranteed to be as described. It has 3 hidden compartments and lots of pigeon holes and small drawers. It comes with the keys for the upper hutch. The fold down desk and the small door inside but not the drawers below. It has the original glass, which is wavy and has bubbles in it, in both panels on the left side but not on the right side. One pane is missing on the right side but would be easy enough to replace. Lots of character on this gorgeous old piece. It measures 81 inches high, 47 inches wide and is 23-1/2 inches deep at the bottom. It comes apart in two pieces so the bottom part is 41-1/2 inches high, 47 wide and 23-1/2 deep and the top part is 39-1/2 inches high, 47 inches wide and 12 inches deep. One of a kind. Very good condition woman's writing desk from Mexico, circa 1900. This one of a kind piece has no screws or glue, and fits like a puzzle! This desk was brought to the United States circa 1970 from Durango, Mexico by my Grandmother. She in turn received it from her piano teacher years before! The desk shows quite well, as it has only been used as a decorative piece since at least 1970. Please note, all pieces are present, although the drawer handle needs to be reattached.

The top has ebony line inlay and broad crossbanding to the outer edge the flaps can easily be erected using with wooden hinged flaps which are hidden underneath. The table has 2 drawers to the front and 2 dummy drawers to the reverse. All have cockbeaded edges and ornate brass handles, it is polished on all sides to allow it to be free ... morestanding, the Sofa table stands on panel end supports with 2 splayed legs which termnate in brass feet and castors Condition The TABLE is 100% sound. THE BACKPLATE ON ONE OF THE SMALL DRAWER KNOBS INSIDE THE DESK IS MISSING. As pictured- an AUTHENTIC antique flip top or fold-away desk by famed furniture maker H.E. Shaw of Grand Rapids. Michigan. Gorgeous details includes: hide-away desk area, extendable writing board, small drawer on top, large drawer beneath desk, and plenty of small cubbyholes. Made of either solid maple or walnut with matching veneers. There are noticeable surface scratches and some spots where the varnish has chipped way, however they can be easily restored with a new varnish coat. Wood Rolltop Desk. A.H. Revell & Co circa 1920
Wooden rolltop desk made around 1920 by A.H. Revell& Co furniture. Beautiful condition. But eight inch section of the top of the rolltop is unattached. That 8-inch section is original and matching, is in good condition, and is included. The top(secretary/rolltop portion) can be taken off and that section is 50 inches wide X 13 inches tall X 32 inches deep. Six drawers and one small door with non-functional key in top piece. Bottom(desk portion) is 50 inches wide X 31.5 inches tall X 32 inches deep. Seven Drawers in bottom piece. Top drawer on each side automatically locks and requires a hidden lever to be pushed down to unlock them. All drawers and doors work and move smoothly. All eight legs are capped in a dark brass and all have a functioning swivel wheel. This is an Unsigned original Arts and Crafts beautiful 1/4 sawn oak desk that is believed to be an unsigned Stickley piece. Either L&G or Gustav. The desk is in beautiful condition with normal wear of early 1900's desk. The only wear on this piece is in the top left desk drawer where it appears that a ink well spilt and stained inside the drawer, showing also the age of the piece of furniture. No symbol or signature could be found. However there is a picture of a hand written name on the under belly of the desk. The specifications of this desk is: 42in in length. 29in in Height, and 24in in Depth. Antique Oak desk circa 1930 from the European Revival Line by Lifetime Furniture
A masculine and substantial heavily carved solid oak desk. Paper stamp says"Lifetime Furniture" which is from the Grand Rapids Bookcase and Chair Co. operated until 1956) 36 1/2" wide by 66 1/2" long and 31" tall. This desk has spent its life. Up until a month ago, in the St. Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset, NY. which has closed down. St. Ignatius is a Tudor Revival Palace built by utilities and tabacco mogul, Nicholas Brady in the 20's. It was also called Inisfada, meaning Long Island in Gaelic. In 1937 it was donated to the Jesuits. As the photos will show. The doors across the drawers are missing and two of the feet have a small section missing. There are a lot of surface scratches and a couple deeper one on the top. The finish is worn off in many places. Fine Antique American Carved Oak Flat Top Desk Large Size Circa 1910
This is a very fine antique American carved oak desk. It is large and very substantial with a new set in felt top framed by oak. The drawers are carved. Dovetailed and retain the original brass knobs. It has fancy carved corners and panels framed by decorative moldings all around. The doors have nicely carved raised panels and decorative moldings. Inside there are three drawers on one side and two pull out shelves on the other side. This is an exceptional antique oak desk in excellent condition with original finish and nice patina. Circa 1910. One antique dealer told us they thought it was a piece from 1908 in New England. However, we think the interior sections of all the drawers are not original. There is one drawer in the middle and three on the side; they are not dovetailed. Above the 3 drawers is a pull out panel for additional writing space. The cubbies at the back of the desk are in good condition. The chair has 4 legs that form a"teepee" and has a cast iron swivel base that adjusts the height of the chair. Here is a beautiful vintage 8-Drawer Wood Desk. Circa 1940's. I couldn't find a maker's mark- although I didn't look underneath- but it looks a lot like Desks made by Maddox of New York. This Desk is well-built and solid- each Drawer features Dovetail construction. This Desk has an imbedded red Leather Top. With gold detailing, Brass Drawer/Side Handles and a 3/8" thick piece of Glass on top. There are three Drawers on the top- a smaller Drawer on each side and a large Drawer in the middle. Below these top Drawers there are three Drawers on the left side and two Drawers on the right side; the bottom right Drawer is a two-Handled File Drawer. This Desk is in good condition for it's age. But does have various blemishes here and there, including some nicks, scratches, scuffs, dings, stains, etc. Some of the Drawers are ... morea little tight when pulled/pushed in and out and could use some lubrication/wax. Beautiful signed Gustav Stickley Drop Front Desk from 1905-1912. The desk is made of quarter sawn oak with an excellent original finish. The piece has excellent. Bulky form with 3 drawers under the drop front and many interior dividers for papers. It sits on original casters and features excellent hammered iron pulls with their original patina. The piece is sturdy and strong. It is signed with an early red decal inside one drawer and has the remnants of a paper label on the back. This is a very nice piece and would look very nice in a craftsman style home or make a very nice decorative piece. There is a moisture ring on the top and the ink stain on inside of the drop front that do not detract from the beauty but show its age, character, and use throughout the years. Some of the oak pieces are stamped with numbers, I've talked to experts ... morein the field and they tell me it was common for Gustav Stickley to number the wood pieces to simplify the construction process. I've included a picture of one of these stamped numbers. All the stampings are in inconspicuous places, such as underneath the bottom lip of the drawers. Please see the pictures for more details. Original bronze pulls. The shaped and beveled mirror plus columns with Corinthian capitals are exquisite on this American made furniture. Fine detailing and the concave front are delightful. The rich deep finish is in extremely fine condition on curly birch with a mahogany stain and a few shrinkage separations from age for antique character. Interiors are genuine birdseye or curly maple. Antique / Vintage Office Desk, circa 1940 WITH CHAIR
Circa 1940 Office Desk. 4' x 3' very good condition. The drawers are 3' long each. The lamp is also included in this auction. The desk pad and glass top are not available; the glass top was broken by the movers. The movers also made 3 gashes on the top of the desk. We tried to blend in the gashes with a brown marker, but I'm sure it can be fixed in a more professional. Other than that(and a little wear along the bottom and sides) it is in very good shape. I am also throwing in an office chair, also in very good condition. All items sold as is. We're moving, hence the low starting bid.

Teak-Hand Carved Desk & Chair-Asian-circa 1950, medium wood tone
The desk/chair are teak. Hand-carved. The carving is visible on all viewable sides. There are four(4) drawers and two(2) cabinets-all the full depth of the desk. It is easily transportable in four pieces-chair. Desk top lifts right off the two sides. Dimensions are 31 3/4"H x 50"W x 26"D. This desk& chair are in excellent condition.The chair shows minor scratches on the seat. When the desk is disassembled. Each of the sides has age-related wood cracks, which have no effect on the wear, durability or appearance of the desk. These cracks are not visible until the desk top is removed for transportation. I am not an art or furniture expert. I have described the desk and chair to the best of my ability. This item is available for local pick-up. I will consider selling to an out-of-town buyer.
