The drawer fronts have book-matched crotch mahogany veneers and cockbeading. The fitted interior(sorry for the dust) has burl walnut veneers, ebonized pulls and boxwood stringing. The interior cupboard door opens to reveal a drawer with a secret drawer behind. See photo) The desk measures 44" high by 39 1/2" wide by 20" deep. In overall very good condition. There is some minor loss to the veneer on the feet which we will restore for you. The desk lid is cupped which makes the desk impossible to lock properly though we do have a key. I don't think we want to try to address this particular issue but please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. There is also some cracking of the veneer on the lid but it is all stable, nothing loose. The desk has great color and patination and is guaranteed to be as described. The drawer fronts have book-matched crotch mahogany veneers and cockbeading. The fitted interior(sorry for the dust) has burl walnut veneers, ebonized pulls and boxwood stringing. The interior cupboard door opens to reveal a drawer with a secret drawer behind. See photo) The desk measures 44" high by 39 1/2" wide by 20" deep. In overall very good condition. There is some minor loss to the veneer on the feet which we will restore for you. The desk lid is cupped which makes the desk impossible to lock properly though we do have a key. I don't think we want to try to address this particular issue but please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. There is also some cracking of the veneer on the lid but it is all stable, nothing loose. The desk has great color and patination and is guaranteed to be as described. It was in mediocare condition so we decided to restore it. All the paint and finish has been completely removed. Chair is unfinished wood at the present time. Estate fresh! A fantastic vintage Gustav Stickley arts and crafts 729 drop front desk. Early 20th century made around 1909. Decent original finish with hammered copper pulls and complete pigeon hole gallery insert inside with key. Two over three drawers. Thru-tenon slab sides and pegged to the front lower stretcher also pegged in the front by the top. Condition is very good but the drop needs restoration. It has numerous chips in the veneer. Some roughness on the edges and front corner on the feet and edges but typical wear from something that's over one hundred years old. The pigeon hole gallery inside has some wear and the door is cracked and needs repair. Slight separation on the left slab side but very tight. No wobbles or looseness. Measurements are approximately 36.5" wide by about 15" deep and is 45" high. Signed ... morewith the red decal compass mark inside the right drawer. So while they are"reproductions" of much older colonial-age furniture pieces. The"reproductions" are now themselves vintage& antique. Make sense? Welcome Today's listing is for a 1950's Walnut desk manufactured by the Central Desk Company in Chicago. Illinois. The desk drawer faces and typewriter compartment door are constructed of solid Walnut as well as all of the frame pieces. The top and side panels are Walnut veneer. Originally the desk was all the same color.blah. Boring and normal. I decided to refinish the top to remove unsightly scratches and a water stain(probably from a potted plant) clean and recoat all of the panels, drawer faces and door and paint the frame pieces, bases and hardware black with a low sheen lacquer. On the right hand side of the desk is an old typewriter roll-out and lift compartment. Vintage Antique 1900's Tiger Oak Rolltop Desk - Original Finish - NICE!!
For your consideration. I have an antique tiger oak roll top desk from the early 1900's. This has the original finish- has a one inch hole at the end of one of the slats on roll top. It is 60" wide and 34" deep. One of the drawers inside needs the front reattached to drawer. This is in great condition with just a few imperfections! Great piece of furniture! C Curve Antique 1900's Tiger Oak Rolltop Desk - Original Finish - Bloomington IL
This listing is for an antique tiger oak roll top desk from the early 1900's. It has the original finish. It measures approximately: 50" wide 34" deep 43" high from floor to top of rolltop. 30" high from floor to writing surface. 16.5" wide chair space Lower left side has 3 drawers. Lower right side has 2 drawers-1 is the depth of 2 drawers. Drawer above chair space. Original brass feet. 2 pull-out writing surfaces. Dove-tailed drawer construction. Upper rolltop portion has several cubbies and small drawers. The front of one upper drawer broke and was glued and replaced(upside down) onto the drawer. Comes apart into two pieces for transport. This desk was owned by my grandfather. Be sure carefully examine all pictures. As they are an integral part of the description. Antique Furniture Berkey Gay Knoleworth Desk Flip Top Original Finish
Selling an antique wood flip desk from the early 1900's. Top flips open with 5 drawers and pigeon slots. All original. Very nice desk in good condition. Antique Furniture Knoleworth Desk some minor damage to laminate but very fixable 30-1/2 x 17- 1/4 x 37-1/4 high I have some of the pieces of laminate that came off they are in the drawer picture that should make it easier to fix, I tried to show the damage in pictures in any event a real nice usable piece of furniture
