Some of the great furniture we sell constantly of theirs is out of the Buffalo. NY warehouse back in the 1950s. this desk is really nice in the brownish mahogany stain with picture frame molded panels with carved rosettes on all four corners of the reverse curve picture frame molding. The desk is finished on the front and back. It comes with four drawers coming down the left hand bank and three drawers coming down the right hand bank with the two center drawers being joined to make a two drawer file cabinet drawer. The center has a large middle drawer and it is all dove tail. The fancy brass cast hardware is still intact. The side panels are also picture frame molded. It also has a big heavy French Ogee bracket foot. The top is surrounded with solid mahogany trim that goes around a gold tooled leather top that has a few minor scuffs and a couple of dings. My wife and I bought this beautiful desk at an estate sale years ago. It is very beautiful Mahogany. And has the original leather top. The leather is aged and could be replace, but I never replaced it because I didn’t know if it might affect the value of the desk. I believe it is from the early 1900’s. Antique executive office wood desk has 6 drawers tongue & groove joints
Roomy vintage-antique desk with a rich patina of age to its wood(oak pecan? is great for a home office. It has beveled edges. A center drawer for cash and paperwork, one deep and one shallow drawer on its left, and three shallow drawers on the right. The joints have tongue and groove construction. This desk has a work surface that is 31 inches deep and 59 inches long. This desk stands securely on its 8 feet and is 31 inches tall. There are pullout shelves on each side on which to write or to hold additional papers while you work. E ach measures 12 inches by 13 1/4 inches. The drawers are under the pull-outs. The top left drawer is 10 1/2 inches deep. The center drawer is 12 by 24 inches and 2 inches deep. There is an indentation for pens and pencils. The drawer locked. But the key is long gone. The other drawers are 4 1/2 inches deep and ... moremeasure 12 1/2 inches by 24 inches. The bottom right drawer is stuck and won't open up for us. All drawers stay closed with the center drawer closed. There are wood drawer pulls that were painted gold. But the paint has worn off from use in several places. The handles are screwed on, as is the top, so it can be taken off when you move this heavyweight. This desk looks great. But could use a refinishing, if so desired. There's a layer of grime and the surface is worn from use in the center of the desktop. There's also scratches, veneer issues, dents, dings and general wear that you'd expect a piece to receive over a century or so of use. There's no maker mark on this piece. So we're unsure of the history on this estate sale find. It's sturdy, though, and quite functional(we've been using it for work) and has decades more service in it. Antique Mahogany Executive Desk with Great Details and Sliding Drawers in doors
Beautiful Mahogany Desk with tons of details. Ball and Claw feet. Roping on the rim of the desk, fretwork all the way around; Both side doors open to 2 sliding drawers inside. This one has some rough spots on top; has been used, but great bones and sturdy, structurally sound; just minor cosmetic wear on top. On the front of the desk there is an open alcove where you would have a glass or wooden shelf to display items; I do not have the shelf that goes in there; but would be easy to get glass cut to go there. The pulls on the big side doors are not original, and the locks have been replaced. The center drawer is hand dove tailed, indicating this may be a bit older than it looks, may be late 1800's. VINTAGE DREXEL HERITAGE mahogany federal antique style executive desk

Contact for further details. 67W 41D 30.5H This magnificent traditional desk is finished on all sides so can be placed in the middle of the room or anywhere to display this showpiece. It has just the right amount of molding so as to have a vintage yet modern stately look. The desk has an extra large executive size surface with a total of eight drawers with movable wood dividers for each drawer. All of the drawers feature old fashioned craftsmanship with finely crafted dovetail joints that interlock to form a flat edge at the corners and sides thus eliminating the need for nails or screws. The right hand side is a double drawer deep enough for hanging files. Not sure if this is original to the piece but it appears that at some point. A metal attachment ... morewith a sliding rail for organizing manila folders was added to the bottom of the drawer. This can be easily removed if you prefer to use a metal cage for the file drawer instead. The desk has all original hardware and two pull-out shelves on either side of the desk. All drawers slide out effortlessly and lack the modern steel hardware on the outside of the drawers as sometimes used in more modern furniture. Giving it a feel of yesteryear. A Drexel stamp of authenticity is on the bottom side of the desk. This piece is pre-owned and being sold as is. And as might be expected due to its age and use, has scratches, blemishes, knicks, gashes or scruff marks and is being sold as is. This item will benefit from an overall polishing, touch up in some spots and replacement of thin molding where worn or missing. It is a splendid and majestic piece whose beauty can be further enhanced or used as is. Please note that these types of highly crafted desks. Vintage Antique Executive Desk Beautiful Grain Original Hardware
This desk came from the office of the president of a Providence Rhode Island based display cabinet manufacturer established back in the 1940s; we purchased it when the facility was liquidated 5 or 6 years ago. Hardware is all original and it does not appear to have ever been refinished. Not sure if it's walnut. Dark cherry, or mahogony. But the grain is well pronounced and very distinctive. Measures 60" long x 36" deep x 30" tall. And is VERY HEAVY. We are downsizing our household(going into semi-retirement) And as a result we are sorting through drawers.
