Up for auction is this beautiful wood Typewriter desk with convertible shelf and an Antique Underwood Typewriter. These two items came from my Grandmothers Estate. She used the typewriter clear up till around 1998ish because her handwriting was so shaky and her vision was not so good. Based on what the relatives think. We believe that she had acquired these items sometime in the 40's. May need cleaning and oiled. Hasn't been used in a long time. The desk is solid but it is appears to have UV Fading and some nicks and wear from being moved from one relatives home to another. Have its original handles. Has 6 drawers 2 of them have a wood divider for files. There is a pull out shelf on each side just above the drawers. This unique desk is 31.5" deep. 38" wide, and 30.5" tall. Has three drawers and the super cool rolling chair is included. In good condition for its age. White Metal Typewriter Stand - Table or Desk with Casters and Angled Drop Leaves
This vintage metal typewriter stand features distinctively shaped legs and angled drop leaves on both sides. From the floor to the table top is about 27" Which leaves you about 24" of knee space under the table. The center panel of the table top is about 13¾" deep and 23" wide at the back, tapering to 15" at the front. The leaves each measure about 8¾" x 14" which gives a total table width of 39" at the back when the leaves are extended. The width between the two front legs- which also defines your knee space- is about 13½" It has that 1940's industrial age look to it. And there are areas of rust peeping through the white paint, but it is otherwise in sturdy and solid condition, maybe in need of a few drops of oil on the leaf hinges and casters. Antique Rolltop Wood Desk with Underwood Typewriter and Rolling Chair
I am selling this locally only as I cannot imagine the cost to ship this. This is the sale of the Desk. Chair and typewriter only. The desk is in excellent condition and it is believed that its last address was with a 1916 Ford Motor Company office of some kind. All drawers open and close easily w/o catching. The mechanical system for hiding the typewriter works smoothly as well as does the rolling cover for protecting privacy. The chair is of the same information. The leather is in excellent condition and all the casters work nicely. No signs of cracked or damaged wood. The Underwood typewriter has patent information from May 1900 to August 17th 1915. It seems to function though it doesn't have the ink wheels. This is for local delivery only unless you would like to ship it yourself. I will not ship at all!

This is a very old flip-top typewriter desk with beautiful old Royal typewriter. Probably from the 1930's. This desk has a oak veneer top that is a little faded and loose on one corner. Typewriter works though ribbon is dry. Typewriter tray is nicely balanced and easy to pull up. A little TLC and this will make a wonderful piece of furniture. VINTAGE OAK FLIP TOP TYPEWRITER DESK 54" WIDE 30" DEPTH 29-1/2" TALL INSIDE ONE OF THE DRAWERS HAS A BRASS TAG WITH. FINISHED WITH DUPONT DUCO" REG.U.S.PAT.OFF. ON IT. ON ONE OF THE LEGS THERE IS A BRASS TAG WITH"178" ON IT. THE TOP OF THE DESK HAS SOME KIND OF COATING ON IT THAT IS GREEN. THERE ARE 6 DRAWERS 2 OF THEM HAVE LOCKS ON THEM AND WHEN THEY ARE PUSHED IN ALL 6 DRAWERS LOCK. I DON'T HAVE THE KEY TO THE LOCKS BUT I CAN GET A KEY MADE IF NEEDED. THERE IS 2 PULL OUT WORK SPACES. ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DESK UNDERNEATH SETS OF DRAWERS THERE'S A STEEL PLATE ON EACH SIDE OF THE DESK. Il Oak with inlayed top 6 drawers w/dovetail joints 2 pull-out writing shelves One of the back legs is missing its brass band. So the band has been taken off of the other back leg. It has been stored in a drawer in case another one is found. The desktop is 55" wide and 34" deep. The desk is 30 1/2" tall. The space for a chair is 24 1/2" wide and 23 3/4" tall. Antique Vintage UHL Rolltop Typewriter Table Desk Industrial Japanned Finish
For sale is a rare Toledo Metal Furniture Company UHL Art Steel Typewriter Table& roll top Cabinet in Japanned Copper Finish. The overall condition of the steel is very good. The wood is decent there is some scratching, chipping peeling on the wood top& a hole was drilled to run a cable through. The key& lock latch are missing(on the wood part, not the roll top) The original intent of this design was to be an elegant. Space saving piece of furniture and there's not much that can compete with this kind of design nowadays. The wood is original tiger sawn oak.
