This straight-sided. Circular stoneware jug is wheel-thrown,and jugger-made. the base exhibits a series of concentric looped ridges left by the wire used to cut the clay base off the wheel. The exterior surface is salt-glazed. The neck is quite short and bears a series of encircling embossed ridges intended to help secure the wire for the cork. The jug has a single applied handle which loops from just below the base of the neck to the base of the shoulder. This bottle is in very nice antique condition. The glaze has some discoloration but is in great condition considering the age There are some bits of material that probably were left in the kiln during firing. I am offering this vintage set of porcelain salt and pepper shakers that are a cute little 1940's( I think) couple. Both are marked Japan and both are in excellent condition. The only issue that I see is one very small chip on the back of the gentleman's head. The lady is about 2 3/4 inches tall and the gentleman is 2 1/2 inches tall. I am pleased to offer a beautiful set of six antique salts. Salt CELLARS made by O& E.G. Royal Austria. These salts are absolutely stunning with the interior finish being a pearlized iridescent and a white outside with gold around the scalloped rim of the salts. Based upon the marking on the back of these salts. They were made between 1898 and 1918. The marking on the back of the salts was used by Oscar& Edgar Futherz of Altrolau, Bohemia(now Czech Republic) from 1898 to 1918. The company made some of the finest porcelain and exported both decorated& undecorated pieces. In 1918, the company became part of OEPIAG, the Austrian Porcelain Industry and used a different marking. All of these salts are in excellent condition. Here is a Stouffer Gold Encrusted Porcelain Salt Shaker measuring 3 3/4" height. The gold wash pattern is speckled on the body. Smooth on the top part, which has has 7 holes. There is the Stouffer imprint on the bottom. Note: The stopper is missing. But I expect that one could locate a cork replacement stopper that would fit in the bottom, likely at your local crafts store. Aside from that this old salt shaker is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Just a little bit of wear on the bottom. Here's a Stouffer Gold Painted Salt Shaker measuring 3 3/4" height. The gold wash pattern is speckled on the porcelain body. Smooth appearing on the top part, which has has 7 holes. There is the Stouffer imprint on the bottom. Note: The stopper is missing. But I expect that a cork could be found as a replacement stopper; check your local Hobby Lobby or other crafts stores. Aside from that this vintage salt shaker is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Just a bit of wear on the bottom. This gorgeous collectible complements any shelf or table. very old antique ceramic chicken salt or pepper shaker. Pretty good condition for its anticipated age and story. This cute little shaker was found outside under an inch of soil in Northern Wisconsin. I just saw a little bit of white near the base of a tree. started unearthing it. And there it was! Some red and black paint still exists on this fat little white chicken. It is not cracked, but there are small chips here and there.they seem to actually add to its patina as none are large enough to take away from it. the bottom plug is missing, probably was cork. White glaze over pretty intricate ceramic showing tail feathers, eyes, and each wing feather. Gotta love it! Each of these shakers are in fair to good condition. There are no chips. Cracks or craze, but the gold accents and painted floral scenes show wear and or heavy table usage. The A.Hartey shaker is the only shaker with a cork and I have not found any reference to him/her as pertaining to art or old porcelain objects. Antique 1913 Bavaria Porcelain Salt and Pepper Shakers w/ Gold Dome
For Auction: This item is a wonderful pair of antique Bavaria signed Salt and Pepper Shakers. The shakers measure approx. 3 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The shakers are very beautiful and has a main ivory colored body with a hand-painted gold floral vine design and above that is a light pale blue color. The shakers are then topped with a soft gold dome at the holes area and is bordered by a small row of raised dots. Both shakers have their original cork stoppers. Both shakers are marked"Bavaria" in green on the bottoms. One shaker is also marked by the original owner"B.P. Steenburgh 1913" in black. Both shakers appear to have salt still contained in them in a semi-solidified clump. In excellent condition!

This is a gorgeous old set of 2 tall shakers. Estate find! Beautifully colored pink. Blue, yellow, green chintz pattern(all-over floral) These are pretty large: 5" tall. The holes in the top of the salt shaker are quite large.perhaps meant for sugar? not salt? not sure. Very good vintage condition: no chips. No cracks, just crazing throughout in keeping with age. Crazing does not detract from the appeal of these lovely shakers at all. Pls. see all photos for best description. There is a cork"plug" on bottom where fill-hole is. There is a very shallow old flake to right shoulder, about 1/4" across. There is a small unglazed spot on left arm, probably in the making. Beautiful antique German open salt cellar. Marked on the bottom with OOF in a triangle and circle with GERMANY underneath it. It was made between 1890-1920. After that they had to mark"Made in Germany" It features two little birds perched with their wings outstretched on either side of the wicker weave basket decorated with a rose. Small flowers and rose buds with green leaves. Orange& White bird shows a repair on the wing. All fragile items are wrapped and shipped with care. Don't know much about these items. But will do my best at describing what I see. The 2 silver looking shakers say Made in the U.S.A. Lafrance Rec or Reg on the bottom along with the# 804, the dog says Germany on the bottom, the duck says nothing, the lone glass shaker says nothing, the glass pair says 04 on the bottom, the brass pair say nothing, the gold one says warranted 22 Karat Gold on the bottom and the colorful pair say made in Italy on the bottom. Everything is in good used physical condition with no major flaws, e-mail with any questions before bidding, since items will be sold as-is with no returns.
