Antique Beige/Cream Colored Lusterware Salt & Pepper Shakers
For auction is a pair of antique lusterware salt and pepper shakers. They are a light beige or cream in color with gold tops and bases. They do not appear to be marked with a maker's name. They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and most of the gold still present. They are 5 5/8" tall and approximately 1 7/8" in diameter at the base.

Antique Ceramic Salt & Pepper Shakers Handpainted Limoges Style possibly Japan?
A charming set of very old salt and pepper shakers that measure 2.5" x 2" They are still functioning. But the holes are larger than modern shakers so need to use coarse salt and pepper rather than the boxed. This pair is not pristine. It shows its age and wear. The base of one is slightly cracked and there are aging spots throughout. The corks are not original and not interchangeable as the openings are different sizes. Each shaker has a chip under the rim. I've included many untouched photos. The condition is very visible in these. I am guessing these are from the early part of the last century based on others I've seen. They probably are Japanese, though they do not have any markings. Again, I am only guessing based on previous items I've seen listed for sale, I am not an expert. 2 1/2" high an 2 1/2" wide. there are three chips onthe top of one. 1 major, 1 small& 1 tiny. Missing one cork, other than that they are in great condition. No makers mark. Made of very white porcelain(identified by the bottom. the top is ivory color with gold accents and beading around the edge. Background is a deep moss green and dark reddish-brown(sienna? maybe airbrushed on. The roses are deep pink variations with brush marks and teal gree-blue leaves fade to white tips. Its made of a weird material im not sure its plastic or thin wood. Its hand painted. In good condition has some wear, little color fading on red lips on face, little tiny scratches not much, needs cleaning but still in good shape for being this old. If your looking for a rare shaker this is the one for you very collectible.

Absolutely beautiful antique cranberry hand painted salt and pepper shakers with 2 part lids and in mint condition and even original box. These come from the mid to late 1800's. Each side has one large thumb print and both are tapered down. They measure 1 3/4" square at the bottom and stand 2 1/2" tall. The box has no writing on it but I am sure it is the original box. Hand painted Antique Salt and Pepper Set. The back says"Hand Paint"and"Made in Japan" surrounding two interlocking triangles each containing a T. The set has not been used since about 1950 when my grandmother died. She got married 100 years ago and may have even inherited it from her mother as she was the only daughter. It sat on a knickknack shelf since then. It is obvious that the set was used at one time because some of the border paint has worn away. The salt shaker has larger holes than the one for pepper. Both have cork stoppers. I don't know the purpose of the little dish that matches but it's part of the set. The dish is approximately 5-1/2" square. For auction is this lovely pair of porcelain salt and pepper shakers made in Japan. Deep blue accented with gold gilt. Hand painted with delicate pink flowers and pale green leaves. Look closely at the pictures to see the slight variations in the floral design and other embellishments. There is some gold loss around the holes in the pepper shaker. I am pleased to offer a beautiful set of six antique salts. Salt CELLARS made by O& E.G. Royal Austria. These salts are absolutely stunning with the interior finish being a pearlized iridescent and a white outside with gold around the scalloped rim of the salts. Based upon the marking on the back of these salts. They were made between 1898 and 1918. The marking on the back of the salts was used by Oscar& Edgar futherz of Altrolau, Bohemia(now Czech Republic) from 1898 to 1918. The company made some of the finest porcelain and exported both decorated& undecorated pieces. In 1918, the company became part of OEPIAG, the Austrian Porcelain Industry and used a different marking. All of these salts are in excellent condition.
