This straight-sided. Circular stoneware jug is wheel-thrown,and jugger-made. the base exhibits a series of concentric looped ridges left by the wire used to cut the clay base off the wheel. The exterior surface is salt-glazed. The neck is quite short and bears a series of encircling embossed ridges intended to help secure the wire for the cork. The jug has a single applied handle which loops from just below the base of the neck to the base of the shoulder. This bottle is in very nice antique condition. The glaze has some discoloration but is in great condition considering the age There are some bits of material that probably were left in the kiln during firing. These are a pair of Porcelain Antique Salt& Pepper Shakers. They are 2-1/2" tall. White in color with pink flower design. One of the tops has some of the painted floral design worn off and there is one cork missing from the bottom. Otherwise. They are in quite nice condition. I don't know where they were made. There is part of a label on the bottom of the pepper shaker but the writing is missing. Nice collectibles. No returns.

Offering a beautiful Antique Lenox Belleek tall salt and pepper shaker set in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The gilt shows no sign of wear. The stamp on the bottom of each shaker is that of an artist's palette, a capital"L" encirled, below that are remnants of the word Belleek. This factory mark was used from 1906 to 1924. Very cute little Salt& Pepper shakers- white bears with Red ears and mouths and blue eyes. One has a red scarf. The other has a blue scarf. they both have corks in bottom. Neither are marked. They look like McCoy but I do not know for sure. There aren't any cracks or chips- the paint has rubbed or chipped off in places. I washed lightly but did not try anything stronger than mild dish soap to get the marks from what looks like scotch tape. They could be cleaned up further. They measure 3 1/4" tall.

It is absolutely amazing to me how many beautiful things they had that were never used. Possibly they were impulse purchases or more likely, gifts that were never or rarely used. These Charming Pair of Salt and Pepper Shakers inspired by Olde English Toby Jugs. With their cork stoppers are another wonderful find. They stand about 2 ½” Tall and approximately 3” across the tops to the outer edge of handles. The Man’s handle is a little wider than the woman’s. There is some sort of ... moremarking at the underside. But it seems impossible to figure out what it says. I have photographed them so perhaps someone might recognize what it says. There is a little piece of what seems to be perhaps a paper napkin behind the cork stopper on the man shaker. I have not attempted to remove it for fear of breaking it. I will leave that to the new owner. They’re in lovely condition with a beautiful glaze. You can just see that they were very well cared for. Antique clear glass salt and pepper shakers with caddy. No chips or cracks to glass. The old tops are made of something like plastic and have a few cracks in them that are small and do not interfere with screwing on the tops or the tightness of the fit of the caps. The glass caddy is nice with scalloped edges. The old pepper shaker has what looks like a pepper corn in it. Both could use a good cleaning.the caddy is approximately 5 1/2 inches long and2 1/2 inches wide by 41/4 tall. Here is a nice Antique Set of Hand Painted Bavarian Salt and Pepper Shakers. On the bottom of the Pepper Shaker is stamped R. C. Versailles. Bavaria and the signature E.C. Meyer. On the bottom of the Salt Shaker is the signature E.C. Meyer only. For some reason R.C. Versailles Bavaria is not stamped on the bottom of the Salt Shaker. Not sure why but they are obviously a pair. Both have the corks and are in very nice condition. The pepper looks to be in near perfect condition with an exception of some very minor wear on the bottom where it contacts its resting surface. THIS IS A RARE PAIR OF NIPPON HAND PAINTED SALT& PEPPER SHAKERS! I don’t want to remove the corks to find out if these have ever been used. As the corks are in very good condition and are inserted very tightly. Each shaker is marked“Hand Painted Nippon” on the bottoms. Rims(top& bottom) are lined with 24K gold. The holes on top are also trimmed in gold. Along with a unique scroll pattern. The issue date is before 1921. They measure 2 ¾” high, 2” at the widest, and 1 ½” across the bottom. They have a nice landscape scene of a windmill. Red roofed barn and a large tree. No chips, cracks or crazing, tiny specks as seen in photo#2. They do not look near as big as the picture makes them out to be. NOTE: According to the McKinley Tariff Act. All Japan-made wares exported to the USA were marked NIPPON(which means JAPAN in Japanese) ... moreuntil 1921. This listing is for an Antique. Salt and Pepper Shaker Set. The shakers are round with paneled sides and a button top. The design is very unique with a background of pink peonies with blue and pink flowers and leaves. In the center of the shaker is a band of green and pink flowers with a delicate gold scroll with a yellow background. The tops and bottom both have detailed gold moriage. The porcelain is very delicate and light weight. The pieces are unmarked, but the porcelain and styling are indicative of pre-WWII Japan. The shakers measure 3 1/2" high. 2 1/4" in diameter at the base and weigh 4.1 oz as a set. The bottom of one shake is damaged as seen in the photos. However the visible portions on both are free of chips, cracks and fleabites. The foot of the one with damage has a bubble on the surface of the edge, which is painted ... moreindicating it is originally as such. The top of both shakers have some gold paint loss from use or storage. The intricate designs on the sides and the moriage are in wonderful condition with no notable marks or wear. There are no corks. Despite the damage on the one piece, they display beautifully and are a gorgeous set. The pattern is amazing and they will make a wonderful addition to a salt and pepper shaker collection. Shipping. antique Victorian ceramic china COVERED SALT CELLAR w/Cobalt decoration
This Victorian ceramic master salt cellar measures 5 1/2" high in back x 6" wide and has an attractive cobalt blue floral decoration on it with the word"SALT" in black letters on front. The bottom is marked"GERMANY" and it still retains its original tiger maple lid which is hinged in back. This type of master salt was used either on the countertop or also has a slot on back so it can be hung on a wall in the kitchen. Condition: there is a 3 1/2" hairline on back side(not seen from front) and the wooden lid is cracked on back and the brass hinges are loose due to the brass tacks coming loose. I obtained them at an old estate sale and when I saw them just had to have them. If they shouldn't sell at auction I'm not hesitant to keep them at all! They are an awesome pair that even if you have a large collection of salt and pepper shakers I would highly doubt you have these in that collection! It appears that whoever crafted them used rock that was split in half and somehow hollowed out then sealed back together by all appearances of these two shakers. The bottoms have the cork stoppers and one is numbered 7 and the other 8.
