Glass is a little darker when it is not in bright light for photos. I am not sure of age or maker. Purchased at estate sale. I believe this is Italian- Empoli- seed pod or spikey seed. Set could also be American or other. Partly polished pontil marks on bottoms. Still some roughness. Tumblers stand 4 1/4" tall. Hobs are spiky at bottom and gradually soften going up sides of tumblers- soft bumps near rim. Pitcher stands 7 3/4" to rim. Measures approximately 7" across from front of pour spout to back edge of handle. Handle is applied. Great vintage condition. Do not find any chips or cracks in glass. I see a few tiny air bubbles and some minor roughness ... moreon some hobs. I also see a few manufacturing imperfections- lines in glass(not cracks) a couple spots on tumblers where a hob looks lower than others around it- spots where hobs are too close together. The Pitcher is part of a large and extensive set up for auction. If you wanted to have a look at my other items. The Pitcher is very finely made throughout and of a great Art Deco design with a facet Cut Base. I was told the Pitcher was made by Moser in the earlier 1900s period and is a very rare find. The Pitcher is unmarked as I believe the earlier examples never were. As you can see the Pitcher has a finely etch decorated band with a nice scrolling design which is identical to that of the Moser Splendid glasses more commonly found in a clear color with gilding. I was unable to find anything like this set mostly being colored. Also leading me to believe it is also rarely seen. Another nice feature of the Pitcher is within the etched splendid design there is also nice multi colored enamel work. The top rim is also gold gilt, and the Pitcher is of top quality throughout. The Pitcher is in very good all original condition with some wear to the Gold Band and one tiny chip to the top rim near the handle but no cracks or repairs. I see no chips or cracks in any of the glasses or pitcher. It is yellow with a brown handpainted scene. The pitcher and glasses have a dark black ring around the tops of the glasses and pitcher. A Wonderfully Patriotic/Vintage Stars& Shield Clevenger Brothers Pitcher made in a 4 Part Mold in SAPPHIRE Blue. The pontil mark and"c" B" are on the bottom. This piece has lots of bubbles and character. even some off color. this is a great pieces. perfect except fr all the wonderful bubbles and seem marks. but thats what makes it even better than perfect. ABOUT THE CLEVENGER BROTHERS GLASS IN SOUTH JERSEY: From Clevenger Bros. Glass works was founded 1930 by three brothers. Tom, Reno and Allie Clevenger. I have read that the original furnace was built in a stable. The original building was partially destroyed in 1957 by fire. The factory was rebuilt on the original location and the furnace continued in operation until August 24th, 1999, when it was shut down. During those years many great South Jersey glassblowers worked ... moreat this furnace. Among them are such greats as August Hofbauer, Otis Coleman, Harry Robb and Vermont Frie. In the early years most of the Clevenger glass was freeblown. Freeblown glass was still being made on occasion up to 1960. Each piece was hand blown and finished with no two exactly alike. Each batch of glass often varied in color. They made copies of earlier pieces such as lily pad pitchers and bowls. Creamers and sugar bowls and vases just to name a few. Some of the great glassworkers could make virtually identical copies of earlier glass. These pieces are becoming very collectable, and to my line of thinking, are not to be considered reproductions since they were hand made Freeblown pieces. These pieces are unmarked and at times even fool the experts as to the time period in which they were produced! It is my understanding that in the early 1930's Clevenger Brothers began to do mold blown items. Some of the most famous pieces of glass reproductions were the Jenny Lind Calabash. The Booz bottle, Washington Taylor flask and the Eagle and Grape flask. I hesitate to use the word reproductions because very few of the molds used by Clevenger's were the original molds

Pretty Antique Heavy Clear Glass Pitcher or Vase Fan& Diamond& Hobnail Pattern Product Description: Lovely Antique Clear Glass Pitcher I think this is old. But don't know for sure. It has a slight ring of crystal. The pictures show the pretty fan and diamond pattern with hobnail base. It's heavy at 3 pounds 8 ounces. So it would be a wonderful vase. Measurements: 9" tall at spout; 8" across spout to handle; and 4-1/4" base. Thanks for looking! Condition: The pitcher looks very nice. There are no large chips or cracks in it. However. Around the rim of the spout as shown there are a bunch of small rough areas like chips. Not sure how they got there unless it was done by a metal spoon or such. You will see lines and bubbles that I think are manufactured. All in all. A pretty item that needs a good home. The gold decoration has very heavy wear to it. The pitcher is 9 3/4" high by 6" across the rim. On the side of the pitcher at the widest part is a couple of small chips. Also where one of the enamel flower centers is. A bubble has broken and has an indent in the side of the pitcher. The six tumblers are 4" high by 3" across. One of the tumblers has a large J shaped crack in the side as shown in the photo. It has had tape placed over the crack. I have not been able to identify the maker for this set. Antique 1889 stoneware pitcher with hinged metal lid
This stoneware pitcher/pot stands about 12" tall with lid and about 61/2" wide at base. It is quite heavy weighing about 4 1/2 lbs. The metal lid looks like pewter and has a small dinge or indentation near the top knob. The flowered design appears on both sides of the pitcher. It has fine crazing over all and one crack about 2" long near top of rim.There is a patent date on bottom of July 11 1889. Very old.
