Blown Blue Glass Pitcher with Cobalt Applied Handle& Rib Decoration with Pontil Beautiful large blown glass pitcher in excellent condition. It is a very light blue in color. With the color more evident at the thick base. It has a cobalt blue applied handle, and a raised cobalt blue spiraling rib near the top which appears to be applied also. The cobalt handle and decoration have decorative tiny bubbles suspended throughout. There are also tiny bubbles suspended in the light blue glass. There is a rough pontil on the bottom. Pitcher Glass Antique Enamelled Blue Ruffled and Four enamelled tumblers
Outstanding Victorian Ruffled Enamelled Painted Blue Pitcher Number 1054 on bottom of pitcher. It is mold blown with four enamelled mold blown enamelled painted tumblers. The painting is in good shape on the tumblers with a small amount of loss. On the pitcher the painting is almost mint. There is some gold loss on the pitcher. And some gold loss on the tumblers. One of the tumblers has the bubble which depicts that it is mold blown. The pitcher has the number 1054 The pitcher is 10 inches high with ruffled top which is 5 1/2 front to back. The pitcher has an applied handle. The tumblers are 3 7/8 inches tall and three inches across. This is a very beautiful set of Victorian glassware. It appears the enamelling has been applied by hand.

Early American Blue Glass Pitcher New Jersey? Sandwich? Pattern 1800's
This lot is a Early American Glass Pitcher. I think it may be from New Jersey. I believe it to be a piece from the early 1800's. It appears to be hand blown into a mold. Shaped at the top and the handle applied, then the pontil broken off. It is about 5 1/4" tall, 5 1/4" diameter at handle. There appears to be some whitish spots in the glass- I think they are tiny bubbles as they appear elongated towards the top. Not sure what the pattern is- maybe pomegranates or whatever. I think this is called"Insufflated Glass" they blow a glob of glass into a mold to make the pattern and pull it out and blow into it to make it bigger(or something like that) No cracks or chips. This is a unique syrup pitcher(or teapot? with matching underplate. It is made of porcelain or china and has small blue flowers with greenery. It was made in Japan and marked"AMES an exclusive design" They are both in very good condition. The pitcher is about 5" tall and about 7" long. The under plate is about 7.5" X 7.5" and is marked"for decorative purposes only. Not for use with food" Check out my! Be sure to add me to your! I think this was probably mad by Hobbs. The pitcher is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have one place about 1 inch long where the glass ran during the making. Striking Antique Sapphire Blue SWIRL GLASS Mold Blown SYRUP PITCHER JUG ANTIQUE SWIRL GLASS SYRUP PITCHER JUG Wonderful antique mold blown glass syrup pitcher jug measuring 6-1/4" tall. Featuring a tin metal flange and spring loaded lid. Glass is a striking sapphire blue color in a lovely swirl pattern which repeats on the applied handle. Bearing three vertical seam lines, condition is very nice with several straw marks in the curve of the handle, roughness where the top handle meets the glass from production, lots of stretch marks in the glass and a bit of surface rust on the interior of the tin lid- base has no pontil and bears a paper label which is illegible. The Clevenger Brothers Glass Works of Clayton, NJ also made some interesting original designs. Offered here is a Cantaloupe Pitcher. Produced circa 1980-1999. The Cantaloupe Pitcher was the Clevengers’ number one seller, especially in shades of dark blue. This pitcher stands 7"tall and is 9"wide. It has a false pontil mark on the base. Along with the initials CB, identifying it as a Clevenger piece. Clevenger Brothers closed in 1999. Since then. Many designs of Clevenger glass have become fairly scarce. Antique Victorian Blue Opalescent Optic Swirl Glass Syrup Pitcher A wonderful glass pitcher featuring a blue opalescent swirl pattern with the original metal spring top lid. The clear blue glass handle is applied. The top/ lid is engraved with the latter 1880's Pat. date(see pic. 6) I don't believe the lid was made to come off, I have not removed it or really even tried being it fits so securely& tight. Measures about 6.5" to the top of the lid. In very nice condition showing the normal age wear. No chips, cracks or repairs. Noticed a couple of straw lines(felt the grooves) under the applied handle, is common in the older glass. The pitcher is 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide. It dates to 1870- 1887. See Barlow and Kaiser. A Guide to Sandwich Glass. 1985, p 57 ff. Boston and Sandwich originally called this type of handle a"claw handle" It is one of the earliest handles I have see which was attached first at the base, not the top, which became the standard for the glass industry at the end of the 19th century. The glass frit used for overshot is clear, as always with Sandwich, except that in this pitcher there are two little drops of red glass, one on each side, that made it into the frit by accident. RUFFED ENAMELED BLUE PITCHER Outstanding Victorian Ruffled mold blown glass with enameling on Blue Pitcher with the Number 1054 on the bottom of pitcher. With four mold blown enameled tumblers. The enameling is in good shape on the tumblers. On the pitcher the enameling is in good shape. There is some gold loss on the pitcher and tumblers, as would be expected of an antique from circa late 1800's. The pitcher is 10 inches high with ruffled top which is 5 1/2 front to back. UP for sale we have a very fine piece of Victorian Art Glass. The enamel work is thickly painted and very colorful. The pitcher has true Victorian decoration in both whimsy and color. There are purple& Yellow flowers on the side of this bright blue satin glass vase. And all down the sides are little twinkles branches and background decoration. The glass itself is a white to blue cased satin. There is a hand blown pontil on the bottom. The side handle is a clear applied work with the thorn decoration such as a Webb piece. The pitcher is not signed that we can find. So we are not sure of the maker. The pitcher vase has no cracks. Chips, nor repairs. There is only wear consistent with its antiquity and use. Unique and rare antique blown glass pitcher. Came from an estate of an exclusive antique Italian glass collector who recently passed. Well taken care of with no chips or cracks. Only flaws in this piece are its natural bubbles and the like. Measures 8 1/4" tall and 4" diameter not including handle. Very neat turn of the century piece. Victorian Vtg Teal Aqua Cobalt Blue Pontil Glass Enamel Pitcher Ribbed Ruffled
This is a truly beautiful piece of glass. The color is between aqua and cobalt blue. The top is ruffled similar to Fenton pieces with ribbed lines running down the pitcher. The handle has been applied and is smooth to the touch. Most of the original gold gilt is gone and some of the enameled flowers. This pitcher doesn't really need all that to sparkle. There are no chips or cracks. It does have a few bubbles that have been there since it was made. This would be a great piece to add to any blue glass collection or blown glass. Pitcher is 10 1/2" tall. Base is 5" across, and the with from spout to edge of handle is 8" Paypal Only! Payment must be made within 48 hours! I am not an expert but I enjoy auctions. Estate sales, yard sales and more. Since most items I sell are antique/second-hand, that these items collect small ... morescuffs, surface marks, pattern wear and gilding loss as would be expected.
