With the color more evident at the thick base. It has a cobalt blue applied handle, and a raised cobalt blue spiraling rib near the top which appears to be applied also. The cobalt handle and decoration have decorative tiny bubbles suspended throughout. There are also tiny bubbles suspended in the light blue glass. There is a rough pontil on the bottom. Heres a very nice and unique 6 panel antique crystal pitcher.The pitcher is totally quality glassmaking through-out.The upper rim is ground and polished.The handle has elegant sweeping lines.The scalloped panels are"artfully" done.The base has a drip pontil.The pitcher measures a petite 8" tall by 6-1/2" wide including handle.Condition is good. 2 flaws a small flake on the outer edge of handle(not sharp or even noticable) and also on joining edge of 1st panel right at base of scallop.I believe this maybe a original flaw in the making its a hard to describe rough spot in the glass. Believe me I mention these minor flaws only to be totally honest, niether really detract from this piece.This is a great old antique crystal pitcher. I pack very careful and ship fast.

Fabulous Antique VICTORIAN blown glass pitcher. Art glass hand painted and enameled with spectacular flower decoration. I tried to get some close ups so you can see some of the work. It is really nice. The pitcher is hand blown, has an applied handle, pontil on bottom. Glass is clear, the main body of the pitcher is frosted. The color starts in a pale lavender near top and to white at bottom. The flowers are very well done, white with yellow centers and lots of purple accents. Very nicely hand painted leaves. The top is hand ruffled and has gold trim. There is one flat chip on the top of one ruffle, it does not change the shape. It is like only a layer of glass came off. For sale is this very beautiful large aqua white looped South Jersey free blown pitcher. Very rare in such a large size. Probably from the victorian era. 14 1/4" tall. Pie crust lip. Some bubbles and potstones in aqua bottle glass with white loopings. large 5 1/2" applied foot. rough pontil and good base wear. Condition is great, small leg off some amber glass on the bottom of the base, hardly noticable, mentioned for accuracy. A few of these large pieces exist, hard to find, and at a great price!

Antique Ribbed Swirled Glass Pitcher with Metal Top Bottom Pontil Mark This is an attractive vintage/antique pitcher. The glass is ribbed and swirled. I do not know the age or maker. There are no maker's marks that I could find. There is a polished pontil mark on the bottom. The pitcher is about 10 1/2" tall. The pitcher has lost most of its silverplate and has some spots on the metal. There is just a little calcium deposit in the inside of the pitcher-it's hard to notice because of the swirled pattern on the glass. If you look at the photo of the bottom. This is a truly beautiful piece of glass. The color is between aqua and cobalt blue. The top is ruffled similar to Fenton pieces with ribbed lines running down the pitcher. The handle has been applied and is smooth to the touch. Most of the original gold gilt is gone and some of the enameled flowers. This pitcher doesn't really need all that to sparkle. There are no chips or cracks. It does have a few bubbles that have been there since it was made. This would be a great piece to add to any blue glass collection or blown glass. Pitcher is 10 1/2" tall. Base is 5" across, and the with from spout to edge of handle is 8" Paypal Only! Payment must be made within 48 hours! I am not an expert but I enjoy auctions. This auction is for a beautiful early clear glass pitcher in the Mary Gregory style. It is a tall. Heavy pitcher with a multi-layered white enamel bucolic scene on clear glass. The young lady wears a diaphanous layered dress trimmed in lace and she is surrounded by trees and birds. There are 16 inner ribs that seem to swirl from top to bottom and an applied smooth handle. The bottom features a rough pontil, but no other discernible markings. I can not date the piece, but it has the feel of older glass in terms of weight and thickness. It is 14" tall to the top of the spout and 6" in diameter at the bottom where it forms a teadrop. It is a very substantial piece. It is truly a beautiful piece in excellent condition with no chips. At the very least it is a Blenko-inspired pitcher. It is in great condition, with no chips or cracks. There is a little rough patch under the spout. c1830 AMERICAN FREE BLOWN MINIATURE GLASS PITCHER APPLIED HANDLE PONTIL ANTIQUE
This is a wonderful early 19th century c1830-50 American free blown clear glass miniature pitcher. Made as a childs toy or for a doll. It measures a bit more than 2" tall and about 2" across. There is a nicely formed spout, and applied handle with a curl at the end where it attaches to the body. The underside has an old label which reads 12-3-38 Miss Chadwick 95 years old, so it was nearly 100 years old in 1938. You can feel the pontil mark under the label and see it from the inside. There are no chips, no cracks, the handle is perfectly intact. There are some bubbles in the handle, but no damage. You will be very pleased.

Antique 19thc Honeycomb pattern Glass Pitcher, Polished Pontil PAT 1865 engraved
Recently acquired from a local estate is this antique 19th century clear glass pitcher in the honeycomb pattern with a polished pontil on the underside of the round foot. It is approximately 5 1/4” tall to the top of the spout. It is engraved“Pat 1865” on the side under the handle. I think this is flint glass. But not sure. Condition: generally very good. If you look really close with a magnifying glass, you can see a few extremely tiny fleabite nicks on edges of the honeycomb pattern. But there are no chips, cracks or other problems. Way down towards the bottom of the box. Was a bundle of crumpled paper atop some old glass and to our surprize we pulled this brilliantly hand made, blown glass 8" tall blue glass pitcher. Talking with some experts, they date this prior to 1900, origin is North American or possibly European, swirl optic design throughout the entire pitcher, a hand tooled rolled over top edge, smoothed out with a single finger spout measures approx. 5" dia. An applied hollow handle, nicely placed for an even balance when the fluid is present. The girth is approx. 6" showing common age related seed bubbles, some tiny bits of frit, again a common factor when it comes to hand blown glass. A snapped pontil, rough with some iron still present on the pontil( looks black) This pitcher does hold 64 fl ounces with no leaks. This pitcher is made from clear glass which has floral enameling and worn gold painted decoration. The applied handle is ribbed. This piece has a square mouth. It is blown glass. So there is a rough pontil area beneath. The pitcher measures approximately 9 1/8 inches tall. It is about 6 1/4 inches wide by 7 7/8 inches long. Unpacked, it weighs about 2 pounds 7.5 ounces. This would be a lovely addition to collection of antique art glass. Identification This piece is unmarked. And I do not know who made it. It is antique. Condition The pitcher has no cracks. Early Art Glass Auburgine/Purple 3 Blown mold Pitcher w Pontil 7.5"- Beautiful!
This is an awesome hand made antique vintage pressed glass pitcher. It stand just about 7.5" high and has a great pontil on th the bottom. The handle is hand pulled and the glass is a deep eggplant purple with great pressed glass detail. Please note that there are the usual bubbles and blurbs as well as some lines from the production. But these are not damage. They are just part of the process of glass making in years gone by. The only damage that I can find is a small crack at the base of the bottom of the tab handle which is shown in the pictures. It does not impact the functionality or sturdiness of the handle since it is just the bottom of the tab and the handle is still firmly affixed. It is very hard to see( I did not see it the first few times I looked at it) but it is there and I have priced this with this in mind.
