Antique Pr Girandoles on Marble Bases BIRDS and More BIRDS With Old Prisms
For your consideration we have an antique pair of brass[possibly some bronze] girandoles on marble bases. Purchased on a buying trip some time ago to Oregon. I have enjoyed having these displayed on my mantel, but wish to make room for something else. I love all the birds, and note on the upper portion near the candleholder, the 4 pair of birds are even feeding each other! The crystal prisms are quite old and appear to likely be the originals. These girandoles stand approx. 13" tall, while the crystals have an approx. total 4" drop. The prisms are lovely and sparkle. They do not show sparkling in the photos, and I will post a photo of one after the crystals are cleaned. In very good condition with normal and expected wear for something this age. The music+dancers do not activate as they should on the hour or half hour. Very Nice! 1983 Ibanez Roadstar RS1000 Electric Guitar with what looks to be its original case.Birdseye Maple Arched Top.Super 58 Pickups.Hard Rocker Tremolo.Ibanez Smooth Tuners.Body is realy Nice.with only minor scratches mostly around the back bottom edge of body.also has some mild to medium buckle rash on the back.few small scratches around input jack.I would imagine you would have a hard time finding a nicer body in this condition.The Tremolo has one string lock that looks to have been made from a pro rockr trem it works and thats about it.A bar is included though not the original.Slight pitting and wear and the gold finish.Super 58 pickups are showing some mild string rash and the gold finish has worn slightly.All electronics function as they should.The neck on this guitar feels fantastic and the frets are showing only some minor wear.slight( ... morevery Slight) grooving in the fretboard above the 2nd and 3rd fret.Again very nice guitar that plays and sounds great!I always suggest a set-up!case looks to be original and one of the latches doesnt work and is kind bent up.See photos of this guitar.Im happy to help with any questions or concerns.Please see my other listings.Lots of great guitars and hard to find parts!

This is a wonderful Ornate Hinged lid Syrup Pitcher. It has rows of diamonds and flowers around the body and two birds on the spout. It is marked Meriden B. Company 1931 on the bottom with a picture of scales. It does look to have scratches in the untarnished insides. I could also feel a surface scratch on the side. There is what isn't quite round on the front of the lid that looks to have been made that way. Sorry i do not know the age of piece and the type of metal but did not see plate ware so might be silver. Antique Victorian Aesthetic Print & Tint Tile Pink Birds & Butterfly c 1889 VGC
Up for auction is a fabulous Victorian Aesthetic Movement print& tint tile. Maker unknown. The registration mark on the reverse dates the design as first registered in 1889. This tile is printed in a dark brown/ sepia colour with a large& most attractive design featuring two large birds sat on a sprig with a large central flower. There is a lovely butterfly towards the bottom and two smaller butterflies one of which is just to the left of the upper bird. Which has its beak open in anticipation. The tile has been beautifully hand-tinted in a pinkish red, yellow and green. The surface of the tile has a nice glossy finish. The tile measures 6 inches square. The basket was made by Wilcox Silverplate Co. And it is made of Quadruple Silverplate in Meriden, Conn. Wilcox started making silverplate items in 1865, and they continued until they joined with Internation Silver in 1898. The basket has a scalloped edge, and around that edge is a scroll, rose, and leaf pattern. In the center of the basket is an ornately etched bird nest, and the top of the handle is monogrammed CMB. This listing is for a circa 1870 French bronze patina white metal or spelter statue of two courting pheasants. The figure is signed by I can not decipher the signature. The base measures 6 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches and it is just over 6 inches or 16 cm high. The two birds stand on a naturalistic base. The male is in full courtship display while the female seems only half interested. haha I've been there! The patina or color is dark golden brown with gold highlighting to the base. It is very well cast Victorian model. It is signed under the leaf that the females left foot rests on but it is to indistinct to read. The bottom has a modern piece of felt to protect the surface the figure sits on. I have removed this to be able to photo the underside of the ... morepiece and then reattached it.
