The pitcher according to research and the pontil mark on the bottom is about 1860-1890 and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. The pitcher has bubbles and manufacturing marks as you would expect with glass this old and measures 9 3/4" tall, 4 3/8" across to edge of pour lip and the base is 3 3/4" Again, according to research the swirl on the glass is referred to as"Ohio Twist" and adds a nice pattern to this simplistic design. Victorian Hand Blown Peach Bloom Cased Glass Ewer W/ Amber Applied Handle
Here we have one of my favorite pieces in our collection. This is a Victorian hand blown Peach Bloom Cased with a really cool applied handle. No pictures will ever do this piece justice.It stands at just about 7" tall and is about 5" at it's widest point. The color is just amazing going from pink to a wonderful peach. Antique Silver Banded Amber Glass Lemonade Pitcher & Tumbler Set
Up for bid is an antique silver banded amber glass pitcher& tumbler set. I am not sure of the exact age. But it is very old, as referenced by the attached photos and shows expected signs of wear from age. I noted one manufacturing bubble in the pitcher and thinness on one side of the bottom from where it was lifted while being made. There is a small chip at the foot near this thin area. The silver banding on many of the tumblers has worn away. Otherwise this set is in very good condition for it's age. The pitcher stands 8" tall and is 7" at it's widest from handle to spout. Bottom has polished pontil. Measures 7-1/2" across handle& spout and almost 10" high. It is in excellent condition. The only imperfection that I can detect is one hob has a rough spot. Upon looking at it with a magnifying glass, the roughness appears to be a popped air bubble from production– not a chip. Absolutely no other damage! Amazing condition for a piece this old! Victorian amber glass pitcher hand enameled crane water flowers scene reeded A beautiful circa late 1800's blown glass(optic with reeded handle) pitcher in an amber color. Overall condition is great with no chips or cracks to make note of. The glass does have some grit near the handle as seen in the pictures and there is a bit of white enamel adhered to the back side of the pitcher.Both occurred at the time the pitcher was made and both are minor but I prefer to make note just in case the pictures do not show these areas clearly. Front of the pitcher is decorated with a lovely scene featuring a crane in the water with lily pads and flowers. Very clear and nicely detailed. Has a reeded handle and smooth pontil base. The Pitcher is part of a large and extensive set up for auction. If you wanted to have a look at my other items. The Pitcher is very finely made throughout and of a great Art Deco design with a facet Cut Base. I was told the Pitcher was made by Moser in the earlier 1900s period and is a very rare find. The Pitcher is unmarked as I believe the earlier examples never were. As you can see the Pitcher has a finely etch decorated band with a nice scrolling design which is identical to that of the Moser Splendid glasses more commonly found in a clear color with gilding. I was unable to find anything like this set mostly being colored. Also leading me to believe it is also rarely seen. Another nice feature of the Pitcher is within the etched splendid design there is also nice multi colored enamel work. The top rim is also gold gilt, and the Pitcher is of top quality throughout. The Pitcher is in very good all original condition with some wear to the Gold Band and one tiny chip to the top rim near the handle but no cracks or repairs. Antique Blue Boston and Sandwich Glass Overshot Pitcher Amber Reeded Handle 1870. Fine overshot Boston and Sandwich glass overshot pitcher with applied reeded amber handle. The pitcher is 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide. It dates to 1870- 1887. See Barlow and Kaiser. A Guide to Sandwich Glass. 1985, p 57 ff. Boston and Sandwich originally called this type of handle a"claw handle" It is one of the earliest handles I have see which was attached first at the base, not the top, which became the standard for the glass industry at the end of the 19th century. The glass frit used for overshot is clear, as always with Sandwich, except that in this pitcher there are two little drops of red glass, one on each side, that made it into the frit by accident. This is a very beautiful set that was part of the privet collection of a long time north west antique dealer with the pitcher standing 9' tall& 6 3/4' wide with fluted top and applied handel, the glasses are 4' tall& 2 3/4' wide with all the parts being hand painted with flowers. You are bidding on an antique silver banded amber glass pitcher& tumbler set. I am not sure of the exact age. But it is very old, as referenced by the attached photos and shows expected signs of wear from age. I noted one manufacturing bubble in the pitcher and thinness on one side of the bottom from where it was lifted while being made. There is a small chip at the foot near this thin area. The silver banding on many of the tumblers has worn away. Otherwise this set is in very good condition for it's age. The pitcher stands 8" tall and is 7" at it's widest from handle to spout. ANTIQUE VASELINE URANIUM GREEN & AMBER GLASS WATER PITCHER WITH LID STEUBEN?
If there is any such thing as a beautiful water pitcher this is it. It's striking. The green uranium glass is gorgeous& the applied amber/topaz handle is equally nice. Excellent quality. Thick& heavy glass. The pitcher is 9 1/4" high. About 10 1/4" with the lid. 4 1/2" across opening, base is 5" across. There is a subtle wide panel or rib effect. Unfortunately there is a chip mainly on the underside of the lid(pics 11& 12) I have searched& have only found one similar& it was Steuben. I believe it is Steuben because of the shape. The applied handle& the way the lid fits, my Mother collected Steuben, but I am not positive, you will have to decide. In"THE GLASS OF FREDERICK CARDER by Paul Gardner in the back of the book in catalog line drawings, page 213#5099 is a very close example. Also ... morepage 214 are two more close examples. Looking under a magnifying glass you just see dots not forming a letter, but if you hold it away in a certain light,to me, it looks like a W or M. Up for sale is this ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS HERRINGBONE MOTHER OF PEARL Amber Art Glass Pitcher& 6 Matching Tumblers. The Mother of Pearl Herringbone cased Satin Glass is made from a Amber glass on the outside and cased with white on the inside. The hand blown pitcher stands 8 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and is almost 8" wide. It has a clear applied handle. There are 2 air bubbles(or flaws in the glass) as seen in pictures# 7& 9. There are no nicks. Chips or cracks. The 6 tumblers measure 3 ½” tall by 2 5/8” in diameter. The pontils on the tumblers and pitcher are smooth and have been ground. One of the tumblers has a tiny flea bite. They are all in very good condition. An excellent addition to your art glass collection. Please include these pictures as part of the description.

Two Antique Amber Art Glass Small Thumbprint Pitchers
Aquired from a collector/dealer's estate. Presented for your consideration are two small art glass pitchers. They are not a matching set, however, they go well together and that is why I grouped them into a pair. Both pitchers are clear amber glass, with a thumbprint design and applied handles. In the photo, pitcher on the left has a blue handle and measures 5 1/2" tall. The pitcher on the right has a ribbed handle and measures 4 3/4" tall. I do not know the maker's or the age on either piece. The smaller one has a distinct blowpipe pontil scar on the underside with some iron residue which shows it is quite old. This fun amber glass pitcher is made in the likeness of George Washington. It stands 7” tall and is 4 ½” wide including handle. It is the right size to hold milk or possibly maple syrup. It is in very good shape– no cracks. Chips or scratches. There is in the bottom inside a ring about ¼” wide next to the bottle sides. This would be a deposit from liquid being in the bottle over a good many years. It may or may not come out. But it is normal for old glass. I have no information on who made this as there is no mark I can see. It was made of pressed glass so you will see imperfections and bubbles at places and that again. Is normal for this.
