With the color more evident at the thick base. It has a cobalt blue applied handle, and a raised cobalt blue spiraling rib near the top which appears to be applied also. The cobalt handle and decoration have decorative tiny bubbles suspended throughout. There are also tiny bubbles suspended in the light blue glass. There is a rough pontil on the bottom. Here is a beautiful antique hand blown pressed glass water set. This water set consists of a 2 quart pitcher and 4 matching tumblers. I do not know the manufacturer of this fine set. But it is of excellent quality. The pitcher is decorated with a cane pillar pattern, and has a heavy applied handle. The top of the pitcher is gilded. The pitcher measures 9 3/4 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter, which includes the spout and handle. The 8 ounce tumblers are polished on the bottom and have gilding around the rim of each glass. The tumblers measure 4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter. Each of the 5 pieces in this set is free of any chips, cracks or damage. Each piece does have about 50% gold loss. VINTAGE AND RARE MARY GREGORY GREEN HAND-BLOWN GLASS PITCHER
I am excited to offer this beautiful. Very early Made Mary Gregory Pitcher. It is hand blown and hand painted. The style of the painting and the colored green glass is known as the earlier European style of Mary Gregory glass. The pitcher is 10" high and 3 1/4 in wide on the top with the base about 5 in. width. There are no chips or cracks that I can find. There is however, a mark across the bottom that looks like a crack but I believe it is the pontil trailing off the center where the blown glass ended. I can feel no crack inside or out. The pitcher according to research and the pontil mark on the bottom is about 1860-1890 and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. The pitcher has bubbles and manufacturing marks as you would expect with glass this old and measures 9 3/4" tall, 4 3/8" across to edge of pour lip and the base is 3 3/4" Again, according to research the swirl on the glass is referred to as"Ohio Twist" and adds a nice pattern to this simplistic design. Beautiful Antique Thousand Eye Eyes Large Pitcher Decanter- a unique find- blown& pressed vintage clear glass EAPG. An art historian with many years of training and experience in university art history departments, museums, galleries, and historic sites both in the U.S. and abroad. In most cases the pieces offered for sale on Ebay are from the business inventory(the business has been based in the Washington, D.C. area for many years) Our inventory is extremely large, so the majority of the pieces we are putting on Ebay have never been displayed in any of our retail locations. This beautiful old clear glass decanter/ pitcher in the thousand eye/ eyes pattern was blown into a four part mold(and a three part mold was used for the stopper) Several companies made this pattern. So we will have to leave it up to the experts in antique glass to determine which company made this fine and rare pitcher/ decanter. The exact dating also will be left to the experts. The clarity and quality of this piece(including the blown base) indicate an early date. It is in good used condition. There are no cracks. On the bottom of the stopper. Some little marks are either very small chips or imperfections from the glass molding process. The only surface"roughness" is from the pontil marks. We have never used it; it has just been displayed. Inside, around the perimeter edge of the base, there is a slight white ring. We never washed the inside, but the new owner might want to- to make this piece even more perfect. On the stopper some of the convex eyes in one area on the lower half have little"dimples" on the tips- they did not completely fill in with glass in the mold.

Exquisite Hand Blown Victorian Lemonade Pitcher with two glasses circa 1890. Hand painted frosted satin glass pitcher with ruffled edge top. Pale soft colors of blue with pale cranberry band. Gold band. Stylus made dots of paint form pretty patterns on the frosted glass. The pitcher has no chips or cracks or scratches. On the bottom of the pitcher it is rough. Showing that it is a delicate hand blown piece. The glasses match the pitcher. Both have tiny chips along the mouth of the glass. These could easily be repaired. The pitcher and glasses are a beautiful representation of hand blown. Hand painted, turn of the century glass work. The pitcher is 9 inches tall. Please see my other listings too!

The stopper is in good shape– just the slightest of nicks. The cruet has no chips. No cracks. Slight scratch marks here and there– expected for a piece this age. Even the spout is very clean. This hand blown glass features cranberry staining on the top three-quarters of each piece. A very pale yellow colors the bottom quarter. The pitcher will hold 64 ounces or a half gallon. The tumblers will hold 8 ounces of water. Lemonade, ice tea, beer or other beverage. Both the pitcher and the tumblers are decorated with hand enameled blue-and-white flowers with yellow centers. They have gold foliage and stems. A gold band encircles each tumbler and the pitcher. Separating the cranberry from the yellow. A band of white enameled filigree appears below the gold band, which you can see in the closeup photo. Gold trim once decorated the rim of the pitcher and the tumblers but much of it has worn off. Early European Pontiled Applied Handle Milk Cream Pitcher Hand Blown Green Glass
Gently used super old green glass pitcher or cruet with applied handle and pontiled bottom. Measures approx. 4 1/2" tall. 3" round at base, and 2" round at top. Weighs 7.8 ounces. I am selling this as a very old glass item that has been in my family for over 45 years as I could not find any other examples online. I did email a friend who sent my pictures to a friend of his who has some knowledge on vintage glass. Below is his reply but again I am selling this a old original glass item. Email reads- H ave studied the pictures and have the following observations to share. First off. I don't think this is a cruet. I would sooner describe it as a small pitcher, probably milk or cream. Cruets tend to have longer skinnier necks. Further I don't believe it was a US manufactured crackle glass item that was commonly made from ... morethe 30's to the late 60's or so. It's too crude and the glass is too thick to be a commercially made piece by the likes of Pilgrim or Rainbows, the most common manufactures of crackle glass during the afore mentioned period. And the pontil is pretty crude also as is the shape of the applied handle. Most commercial crackle glass was much thinner glass and more artfully rendered shapes on the necks, lips and handles. So my guess is that it's probably mid 18th to early 19th century European made in a small guild shop by an apprentice glass blower. Blown Glass Pitcher Hand Painted Enamel Flowers/Tin Top
We are pleased to offer for sale this stunning blown glass pitcher. The exact age of this is unknown but we believe it to be at least 100 years old if not older. This is a very thin glass that has a rough pontil base. The handle is applied. It stands approximately 13.5" high. The glass section is 11.75" high and it hasa 17" circumference on the glass at the widest point. The top is made from tin. With a floral stamped design and a thumb lever to open it. It appears that this was added to the handle before the handle was attached. The front of the pitcher is handpainted with a beautiful floral spray. The flowers are vibrant and there are minimal signs of paint loss to the white areas. When the lid is open the top lip of the pitcher has a gold gilded edge. There is also paint loss to this area. There is a crack where the bottom ... moresection of the handle is applied. It looks like there is some dirt on the inside bottom where the pontil area is also. The glass itself has striations and a few air bubbles in it. The base of the pitcher has some small flea bites on the under edges and what looks like scratches from use. 1860's Hand Blown Pitcher PATTERN MOLDED Grapes & Vines
c.1860's Pattern Molded Pitcher This mid 19th century hand blown pitcher in clear non-lead glass measures approx. 6 1/2" high and was pattern molded(3 mold lines) The pattern seen shows grape clusters along with vines which is repeated three times along with an irregular shaped wavy line above. The handle was seperately applied and is crimped at the base. There is loads of high point wear on the bottom of molded foot and a couple of surface scratches or worn areas and overall its in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Powered by

Absolutely stunning! Victorian era antique water or lemonade pitcher. Dates from the late 1800s. Hand blown glass pitcher with applied handle and ground pontil mark on the bottom. The enamelling was done by a true artist~the work runs from delicate meadow grasses to robust and bold wildflowers. Very realistic! Measures 9" tall x 7" across the center. Very good condition! Super clean. Handle is secure and tight. There is a glass crack at the top of the pitcher where the handle rests. It looks like a crack but is just an inner crack.
