Blown Glass Pitcher Hand Painted Enamel Flowers/Tin Top
We are pleased to offer for sale this stunning blown glass pitcher. The exact age of this is unknown but we believe it to be at least 100 years old if not older. This is a very thin glass that has a rough pontil base. The handle is applied. It stands approximately 13.5" high. The glass section is 11.75" high and it hasa 17" circumference on the glass at the widest point. The top is made from tin. With a floral stamped design and a thumb lever to open it. It appears that this was added to the handle before the handle was attached. The front of the pitcher is handpainted with a beautiful floral spray. The flowers are vibrant and there are minimal signs of paint loss to the white areas. When the lid is open the top lip of the pitcher has a gold gilded edge. There is also paint loss to this area. There is a crack where the bottom ... moresection of the handle is applied. It looks like there is some dirt on the inside bottom where the pontil area is also. The glass itself has striations and a few air bubbles in it. The base of the pitcher has some small flea bites on the under edges and what looks like scratches from use. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. Please view photos carefully and feel free to ask questions. Antique Victorian Hand Blown Frosted Pitcher with Painted Enamel Flowers- nice
Here is a beautiful Victorian hand blown pitcher. It is 10 3/8 inches tall and 6 3/8 inches in diameter. Not counting spout or handle. It has a wide paneled pattern with an applied handle. The pitcher is clear glass except for the middle where it is frosted blue with painted enamel flowers, leaves and white painted trim on the top and the bottom of the design. this pitcher has no chips, cracks or flea bites. It does show very little wear on the design. There are several small bubbles in it. It is a very nice pitcher.

Fabulous Antique VICTORIAN blown glass pitcher. Art glass hand painted and enameled with spectacular flower decoration. I tried to get some close ups so you can see some of the work. It is really nice. The pitcher is hand blown, has an applied handle, pontil on bottom. Glass is clear, the main body of the pitcher is frosted. The color starts in a pale lavender near top and to white at bottom. The flowers are very well done, white with yellow centers and lots of purple accents. Very nicely hand painted leaves. Vtg Teal, Aqua Cobalt Blue Blown Pontil Glass Enamel Pitcher Ribbed Ruffled Top
This is a truly beautiful piece of glass. The color is between aqua and cobalt blue. The top is ruffled similar to Fenton pieces with ribbed lines running down the pitcher. The handle has been applied and is smooth to the touch. Most of the original gold gilt is gone and some of the enameled flowers. This pitcher doesn't really need all that to sparkle. There are no chips or cracks. It does have a few bubbles that have been there since it was made. This would be a great piece to add to any blue glass collection or blown glass. Pitcher is 10 1/2" tall. Base is 5" across, and the with from spout to edge of handle is 8" Paypal Only! Payment must be made within 48 hours! I am not an expert but I enjoy auctions. Beautiful Victorian mold blown pitcher with 6 matching tumblers. This set is really nice. Very nice clear glass. The pitcher is 9.25" high and 6" across top with spout. The top is a gorgeous ruffled design and has an applied handle. There are no chips or cracks. Etc. There are some air bubbles, etc. The hand enameling is beautiful with white, blue, green and orange. Also has gold accents in the design as well as band around middle and gold at top. There is a some wear to the gold in the design, probably from many years of washing. The other gold seems pretty good, a little wear to the lip. The main body of the pitcher has a slight paneled design as do the tumblers. There are six in very nice shape. These have the colors of white blue& green enameled on them. There is gold around the top. Two of them have alot of wear to that ... moregold the rest are average or better. Each glass is tapered, wider at top. Measures 3 7/8" high, top opening is 2.75" and bottom is about 2" Nice and clean& clear, no chips. One has a factory flaw, see last photo. This is a rough area at the rim. It has the gold painted over it and has some very tiny black specks in it. Appears to have happened in the firing process. Antique Hand Blown& Decorated With Gold Highlights& White Enamel Flowers Pitcher This sale is for a wonderful old 1860-1880's Bristol Water or Lemonade Pitcher. The pitcher is 8 1/2" in height and at the widest point of the bulbous 12 section body is 6" in diameter. From the farthest edge of the hand formed spout to the farthest back edge of the hand applied handle is 7" The diameter at the top pour rim of the piece is 3 6/8" X 3 1/2" The gold that was around the top rim and much of the gold on the body have been washed and scrubbed off over the years. The white flowers are so well preserved that they are either high end enamel paint that they used that was fired on or had some glass that was combined with the material to last all of these years. It's rare when one can find one of these pitchers any ... moremore and this came from an estate out of a million dollar plus mansion. Low start takes into consideration the gold highlights.
