Exquisite Hand Blown Victorian Lemonade Pitcher with two glasses circa 1890. Hand painted frosted satin glass pitcher with ruffled edge top. Pale soft colors of blue with pale cranberry band. Gold band. Stylus made dots of paint form pretty patterns on the frosted glass. The pitcher has no chips or cracks or scratches. On the bottom of the pitcher it is rough. Showing that it is a delicate hand blown piece. The glasses match the pitcher. Both have tiny chips along the mouth of the glass. These could easily be repaired. Blown Glass Pitcher Hand Painted Enamel Flowers/Tin Top
We are pleased to offer for sale this stunning blown glass pitcher. The exact age of this is unknown but we believe it to be at least 100 years old if not older. This is a very thin glass that has a rough pontil base. The handle is applied. It stands approximately 13.5" high. The glass section is 11.75" high and it hasa 17" circumference on the glass at the widest point. The top is made from tin. With a floral stamped design and a thumb lever to open it. It appears that this was added to the handle before the handle was attached. The front of the pitcher is handpainted with a beautiful floral spray. The flowers are vibrant and there are minimal signs of paint loss to the white areas. When the lid is open the top lip of the pitcher has a gold gilded edge. There is also paint loss to this area. There is a crack where the bottom ... moresection of the handle is applied. It looks like there is some dirt on the inside bottom where the pontil area is also. The glass itself has striations and a few air bubbles in it. The base of the pitcher has some small flea bites on the under edges and what looks like scratches from use. Antique Victorian period opaque milk glass pitcher with painted floral design. Possibly"bleeding hearts" The lid is made of pewter and marked on the inside of the lid"Pat. July 15, 84" The pitcher is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks with the exception of the perimeter of the top where the lid fits on. I believe the chipping there was done in an effort to place the lid before glueing. The chips are consistently the same.The lid is removable with traces of old glue, probably original. SPECIFICATIONS: Maker/Item/Pattern# Unknown Information: This is a handpainted small green glass pitcher or creamer that has a vintage look and gold gilded area. This is a ruffled rim spout area and is lightweight and small in size at 4 3/4" tall by 3 3/4" wide including the handle. This pitcher/creamer has some issues there is significant fade or loss to the gold gilded areas mainly around the spout area. The bottom has what appears to be a rough to the touch spot in the center that I cannot say for certain but appears as though a bubble in the glass burst versus it being cracked or chipped. It is also dirty and I did not wash it for fear of altering any of the paint details. There is also a blemish or bubble looking area near the handle on the inside of the pitcher. Please ... moresee pictures. In spite of all of these cautionary descriptors. It is a very cute and I think quite old decorated glass pitcher which deserved saving. Sorry not able to locate any makers marks. Size:4 3/4" tall by 3 3/4" wide including handle- approx. measurements Quantity: 1 Condition: FAIR- This is a green glass decorated small pitcher or creamer in my opinion with a ruffled style spout area. This older piece has some issues to include loss or fade in a lot of the gold gilded areas mainly around the spout. There is a rough to the touch'burst bubble' looking circular dent in the center on the bottom. It is more like a bubble that burst versus any cracks or chip in my opinion. There is alos on the inside above the handle what appears to be an imperfection or bubble inside the glass. It is also quite dirty as I did not clean it and will leave that for the buyer to do. Antique Victorian Hand-painted Ruby Flash Cranberry Glass Ruffled Pitcher
This is a truly lovely antique pitcher that I got from the estate of an elderly lady in Alabama. No visible cracks or chips. Some wear on the gold trim and a few of the flowers. But all in all, it's in great condition. The painted flowers are slightly raised. I suspect this pitcher was hand blown because there is slight rocking when it sits on my table. 10 1/4" tall.

ANTIQUE LG LEMONADE PITCHER & 6 MATCHING GLASS SET~HAND BLOWN AND PAINTED~
This is a beautiful Victorian Antique Blown Glass and Hand Painted. Lemonade/Ice Tea, Large Pitcher and 6 matching glass Set. The tall glass pitcher is 13 1/2" tall, with a 4" opening at the top, and 5" across the bottom. It has a tall slender body, fanning out at the bottom. The air bubble are visible in it hand blown applied handle, which sets up high at the top of the mouth opening. It has a curvaceous pour spout, with heavy glass thickness to the piece. The glass is velvety smooth to the touch, and has a smooth pontil at the bottom. The center of the pitcher has a decorative band of bright gold design, accented in white dots. The thin line banding of gold carries on downward to the bottom of the piece, with the white accent dots. The glasses are a sleek design, which flare out slightly at the top, tapering inward, and flaring ... moreever so slightly back at the bottom. They are 6 1/2" tall with a 2 3/4" opening at the top, and 2" across the bottom. They have the matching design as the pitcher, with the thick gold band, and the thin lines all accented in white dots. Remarkably these pieces are free of chips, cracks and repairs. The only sign of age was the wearing on some of the gold banding in some areas more than others, due to age and wear. Perhaps some of the gold painting can be restored, however a small imperfection considering the workmanship and general overall condition on all of these pieces. Thanks for viewing. These 4 inch tall tumblers would actually have been a little big for serving lemonade. It was the extreme in hospitality to have a pitcher of lemonade and a beautiful little glass for your guests. There are purple& Yellow flowers on the side of this bright blue satin glass vase. And all down the sides are little twinkles branches and background decoration. The glass itself is a white to blue cased satin. There is a hand blown pontil on the bottom. The side handle is a clear applied work with the thorn decoration such as a Webb piece. The pitcher is not signed that we can find. So we are not sure of the maker. The pitcher vase has no cracks. Chips, nor repairs. There is only wear consistent with its antiquity and use. The pitcher stands 8 3/4" tall. It is aprox 4" wide at the base. This piece dates from the late 19th century. Must see this ... morelittle beauty in person to fully appreciate it. The pitcher has an embossed design with a large clump of grapes and vines with leaves. The leaves and grapes are colored. The leaves are yellow or green and the grapes purple. There is a flashed cranberry ring around the rim. The pitcher has a clear applied handle. The top is a light metal with a flip lever to open it. The pitcher measures about 8 1/2" tall and 4 1/8" across the base. The pontil on the base from the blowing is slightly indented. The base is signed with an impressed ... moresignature that looks like"ex" attached to an impressed leaf and appears to actually be part of the signature. I have been unable to identify this piece which was an estate sale find but was told it is quite old. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear on the paint mainly on the cranberry ring around the top and the line of white painting vining around the cranberry at the bottom of it. The lid has some age wear and some tarnish. I have not tried to clean this up as I am not sure of the metal. Although it is light weight. This is a very unique old handblown pitcher or tankard.
