It has a hand-cut geometric design on the base, and measures 7.25" high. It is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, or scratches. The red pitcher is made of pressed glass with a hobnail design. It may have been hand-blown into a mold as it has aspects of both techniques. The pitcher is 7.75" tall. And also in excellent condition. There are no scracks, repairs, or scratches. I ran my thumbnail around the innermost portion of the pitcher, and detected two minute imperfections. Early American Blue Glass Pitcher New Jersey? Sandwich? Pattern 1800's
This lot is a Early American Glass Pitcher. I think it may be from New Jersey. I believe it to be a piece from the early 1800's. It appears to be hand blown into a mold. Shaped at the top and the handle applied, then the pontil broken off. It is about 5 1/4" tall, 5 1/4" diameter at handle. There appears to be some whitish spots in the glass- I think they are tiny bubbles as they appear elongated towards the top. Not sure what the pattern is- maybe pomegranates or whatever. I think this is called"Insufflated Glass" they blow a glob of glass into a mold to make the pattern and pull it out and blow into it to make it bigger(or something like that) No cracks or chips. This is a beautiful flint opal milk glass compote in the Basket Weave pattern. The maker of this particular basket weave was Challinor& Taylor as shown in a copy of a circa 1885 catalog page in Pittsburgh Glass by Lowell Innes. Page 410. Atterbury made a different style. This compote is 6-3/4 inches tall and 8-3/4 inches in diameter at the rim. The base is 4-1/4 inches in diameter. The base and the bowl have been joined by a wafer. The interior of the bowl looks like a sunflower and the 2 inch wide top border is open or reticulated. A crochet look. The bowl rings like a bell when tapped. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. Shipping includes insurance. It measures approximately 12" at its tallest point, by 7 3/4" from handle to spout. I have no idea of its maker. It is in very good condition. And has no chips, cracks, or staining. Just a few minor scratches, a couple of very tiny air bubbles encased within the glass, and a couple of thin lines on the outer surface which were simply done in the making(don't really know what this is properly called, but definitely not cracked! I am excited to offer this beautiful. Very early Made Mary Gregory Pitcher. It is hand blown and hand painted. The style of the painting and the colored green glass is known as the earlier European style of Mary Gregory glass. The pitcher is 10" high and 3 1/4 in wide on the top with the base about 5 in. width. There are no chips or cracks that I can find. There is however, a mark across the bottom that looks like a crack but I believe it is the pontil trailing off the center where the blown glass ended. I can feel no crack inside or out. Must See! Gorgeous Amberina Pitcher~~Panel Pattern~~8.75" High~~Near Mint!
I don't think I've ever started an auction title with"MUST SEE! but in this case. I think it was justified.found this amberina pitcher at a local flea market where the overall color was brown, but it felt sticky when I picked it up, and a little scratch with my finger revealed a red color at top. What a shock to see the brown wash away to reveal an absolutely gorgeous amberina pitcher. I've posted both indoor and outdoor photos. Condition is near mint-some wavy straw lines, a bubble(see pic 5) and minor'set down' marks on the 32-starred bottom keep it from being perfect.there's also the tiniest flake on the raised rib of the handle, mentioned to be 100% accurate, but no chips, cracks or major issues. I'd say it's depression era at the latest. Possibly earlier. The pattern of slightly concave panels and ... moreraised ribs which separate them is only on the outside.the inside is smooth as.well, as glass. Measures 8.75" high and just over 5.5" from spout to opposite side. The colors are a true blend, from deep red at top to yellow at the middle and dark orange at bottom, where it looks like the red's about to take over again. Did I mention this is just gorgeous? Antique 3 Section Ringed Green Glass Pitcher Embossed Bottom Tapered
This is a very old green glass pitcher. 7 inches tall, 8 1/2 inches across the handle and spout, 5 inches across the bottom, 5 3/4 inches across the rim.It has an embossed bottom and the pitcher has 4 sections, it is smooth on the outside, but the inside has the undulations from the design in it, the surface goes in an out, which gives it a very nice look. It has some air bubbles, thin mild seams, looks like early an 20th century glass making process, it also shows mold marks. It weighs 3 Lbs.There are no cracks or chips, it's a little dirty from storage.

Has a base diameter of 4 1/4" and is 8" across from spout to handle. It will hold approximately 1 1/2 quarts of liquid. It has a molded ice catching fold on the pour spout and an angled side handle.
