I would guess it to be Czech and dated from the 1920-1930's. With the right size taper, it could also be used as a candle stick. Size: 2 1/2"d X 3 1/4"h- approx. dimensions Quantity: 1- Vase, Condition: VERY GOOD- no chips or cracks. There are only a few tiny light scratches around the base. Which is turned in to catch ice. It measures 9" from lip to bow of handle. The base is over 4" in diameter. The rim has a large saw tooth cut around it and the bottom a complex star. You are bidding on a great looking round leaded glass pitcher. It's about 9 inches tall and 5 inches wide at the top. It weighs about 3.25 lbs. It's really solid and just a fantastic piece. I would say its Waterford quality although I cannot ID the maker. It's from my mother's estate so there is no telling how old it is but I'm guessing it's at least 50 years old. This is a beautiful. Antique early american pressed glass water pitcher. This pitcher is quite heavy weighing over 3 lbs. And very ornately patterned. It stands 8" tall at the lip. It measures 8" from lip to bow of handle. The base is over 5" in diameter. The rim has a large saw tooth cut around it and the bottom a complex star. Adorned with butterlies and geometric design. The glass has bubbles and threads. Typical to old glass. It has a gorgeous purplish hue that looks fabulous in the light. No chips or cracks or stains. There are only mild scratch appearance on the handle from age and the bottom has marks from the original glass design where it was attached. Photos are very descriptive of condition. RARE Antique amethyst purple heavy large milk or water pitcher
This is pretty old. I bought it at an antique shop a very long time ago. It has an odd shape that I could not find anywhere on eBay. Most are rounded or tapered at the bottom, this has a block type pattern. It also has an odd color that I've not seen before, I can only describe it as a pale dusty purple. I think it might be depression glass. It is heavy and thick pressed glass with a few bubbles in the glass. It is a large pitcher for milk or water. 8 3/4" high. I am going through boxes in my storage barn and finding more items all the time. I have collected for over 50 years and really need to start weeding things out. We are empty nesters. And love to travel, go to estate sales, consignment shops and antiquing. Clear glass pitcher that is turning purple. Stands 7 inches tall and has a nice pattern on the bottom. This piece is heavy. Weighing about 4 1/2 pounds. It has one chip on the base(please see photos) as well as surface scratches on the bottom. It also has some scratches on the surface around the pitcher from use. The dip in the handle feels a little sharp as well. No chips on the lip or around the rim, so it could still be used. Beautiful piece just for decoration as well.

Antique Glass Pitcher with Heavy Silver Overlay, Grapes & Leaves
Nice blown glass Water Pitcher with Silver Overlay. Excellent condition no chips or cracks. Very minor silver loss at the ends of one or two of the vines, a few scratches to the bottom from being on the shelf. otherwise near mint condition. This measures 8 1/2" tall, 7" from spout to handle and 4 1/2" wide. I know nothing about fancy glass so I am selling with no reserve and a low opening bid. Rare Antique Maple Syrup Pitcher Hinged Lid Heavy (115-2)
I think this is an old syrup pitcher. No marks. Very thick white glass is more like slag glass. The glass has streaks and surface hairline type cracks. Noe of them go thru. More like they are in the glass. Silver hinged lid has a broken wire on one side of hinge. Very unusual piece. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Almost all of my items are from 30 to 150 years old. They will not look new. They will. ANTIQUE WATER PITCHER solid heavy thick clear glass estimated 75 + yrs old JUG
A very very old antique thick clear glass water pitcher 8 1/2" tall. Base is 5" across& top measures 4" across. This elegant piece weighs just over a kilogram. It is at least 75 yrs old but most likely older. I obtained it in Ontario about 25 yrs ago& it was previously owned by an elderly lady's mother who had passed on. It is in very good antique condition with no chips or cracks, with light wear markings. Glass is smooth on outside. When running your hand inside the glass pitcher I can feel 9 narrow tapered panels. The top of the pitcher has a small ridged rim with formed spout. Tiny bubbles can be seen inside the thick glass. Please review descriptive photos and feel free to ask questions prior to bidding. ANTIQUE ORNATE & HEAVY CUT GLASS PITCHER w FLORAL ETCHINGS
A lovely and elegant cut glass pitcher with etched sunflowers and thistle across the front. Lots of cut detail to include notched handle. Thumb rest, notched rim with bands across the underside of the spout. Other cuttings include hatch designs, rays, stars and crisscross designs along with horizontal and vertical bands. Leaves to sunflowers and thistle are smoother to the touch and may be in pressed form? Measurements: 10½" tall x 5¾" across the base. Diameter across the mouth is 5" x 4" Net weight before packaging is 4 pounds 11 ounces. Holds approximately 1 ½ liquid quarts. Condition: Nice clarity. A couple of very teeny nicks which we tried to capture in one of our photos. Very hard to see without magnification.
