Beautiful antique 19th century American textile: loom-woven wool rag rug with fringes. Sturdy. Extremely well made, rich texture, and gorgeous design. ... moreIt measures approx 2'10" x 6 feet(34 x 72 inches) Not including the 2.5 inch fringe on either side. Weighs almost 5 lbs. Photos taken outside in cloudy afternoon light. Looks fabulous! A bit of wear. A few spots, and some of the blue wool rags shows small holes(2nd last photo) No repairs. There are loose black threads throughout, used to sew the rags into strips for weaving. There are less on the side that seems to have been up; likely the threads came off through use. But the rug shows little use- looks wonderful! This rug came out of a VERY dusty old attic, and really needs cleaning. That attic held many other long-forgotten antique hooked and rag rugs. We'll be listing them all. Check out these fabulous pieces!

Gorgeous Early Blown Glass Miniature Creamer Very Rare Golden Honey with Green Tone 3" H X 2 7/8" W 3.5 oz weight Tooled lip and spout. Rough pontil, thick bottom, applied solid glass handle. Every dollar we earn goes to saving Great Pyrenees; love your purchase and feel good about it too! This week we will be listing some very old porcelain. Pottery and glass items: REALLY unusual/rare and lovely pieces! This antique pitcher is an enigma.it is definitely antique, hand made, ... morehand painted and very much in the style of 17th century German painted glassware you see in museums. The way the dog's face looks like a human face on a dog's body is case in point. However, I was only able to find one other pitcher in MANY, MANY hours of internet research and the auction house that sold it described it as"19th century" It is plausible this was made in the 1800's as a reproduction of a 17th century piece. Either way, this is a remarkably painted, decorative pitcher which was both hand made and hand painted. I took many close ups of the glass and painting, as well as the pontil mark left on the bottom and how the handle was joined to the body. It has fantastic coloring and design; you just don't find glasswork like this! It is in excellent condition, save for a tiny, tiny chip to the rim which I photographed with my finger behind it to make it visible. The pitcher is about 8.75" high. This pitcher was purchased with the other 2 antique glass decanters and all 3 pieces came from a collector's estate in Connecticut.

19th century? South Jersey Millville-style pitcher amber & clear
19 th century? South Jersey Millville-style pitcher amber& clear Offered here is an interesting pitcher I picked up last year. An amber body with clear applied handle and plain foot. In form it reminds me of many of the turn-of-the-century Ralph Barber/ Millville pitchers I have owned. With tall spout and ear-shaped handle. Since Whitall Tatum made tons of pharmaceutical ware in amber class. This would not be out of the realm of possibility. If it is a Whitall Tatum product. The reason for its existence is obvious. The amber glass is loaded with hundreds of tiny bubbles– not something a company would want to use for its commercial products. Let the glassblowers go to town with it! This pitcher stands just over seven inches tall. Although the form is great. It appears that the glassblower had some problem with the rim on one side– very ... morerough as though from cutting shears, but never cleaned up to smoothness. It is not sharp, so this is an in manufacture issue. The pitcher has had a tough life– the base of the handle is broken off and there is a handle attachment crack beneath it. And although the foot is nice with a great cloverleaf pontil mark on the base. There are two hard-to-see crack coming off of the foot– perhaps one big crack. There is a hard-to-see surface fissure just above the foot, possibly the center and cause of the crack. Despite the damage. It’s a neat looking pitcher, one I couldn’t just leave on the shop shelf where I found it in South Jersey. Check my other auctions for more Clevenger. South Jersey, and other glass and paperweights. Look for my book about Clevenger Brothers Glass– Last Links to the Past 20 th Century South Jersey Glass– also on Ebay. Payment via PayPal only. Shipping to lower 48 United States ONLY. Antique Late 19th Century Glass Pitcher with Starbursts
This clear-glass pitcher with starbursts dates from the late 19th Century. We purchased it from an antique dealer in the 1960s. The pitcher has a plain. The pitcher stands 9.25" tall, and the base diameter is 4.25" There is a small vertical scratch on the side of the pitcher. As noted in the picture above.
