Antique Cobalt Blue w/Silver Overlay Pitcher 6 Glasses
Outstanding quality in this beautiful set. Made probably in the late 1800s in Czechoslovia by a crafty Bohemian glass blower and silver smith. It is hand blown and the overlay silver was done by a skilled artisen. The pitcher measures 9" tall and the opening is about 6 1/4" and the glasses measure about 4 inches. The glasses and pitcher are all in excellent condition. No chips ot cracks. It has a rich petina. It does have a marking of a cross on the bottom of the pitcher. There are other marks but I cannot read them. I used a silver cloth to shine part of a glass and on the pitcher so the pictures would show in the listing. I did not shine them all. It is a set that could be found in any castle in Europe, Asia, the middle East or fine holmes here in the USA. With the color more evident at the thick base. It has a cobalt blue applied handle, and a raised cobalt blue spiraling rib near the top which appears to be applied also. The cobalt handle and decoration have decorative tiny bubbles suspended throughout. There are also tiny bubbles suspended in the light blue glass. There is a rough pontil on the bottom. The pitcher stands 8 ¾ inches tall and measures 5 inches in diameter; from handle to spout it measures about 8 1/2 inches across. Excellent with no chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique water/lemonade set. The maker of this is unknown to us and there are no identifying marks on it. This is a beautiful shade of cobalt blue. The set appears to be mold blown and has seam marks on the pitcher as well as ribs. It is hand painted. The pitcher has a crimped top and an applied handle. The base has a smooth polished pontil on it. It stands approximately 9" high. The diameter across the top is approximately 4 1/8" from side to side and the diameter from the back to the outer edge of the pour spout is 4 5/8" The diameter across the base is approximately 4 7/8" The front panel has a beautiful display of hand painted pink and white flowers with stems and leafs. Original early 1900's cobalt blue plump pitcher which is solid. Strong and nice and should serve one for another hundred years. It measures 7-1/2" wide handle to opposite and 7-1/2" high. Please note that there is a"dimple" or tiny area in one of the ribs on the one side which appears to be by the maker's hand. looks like it's been there for years. it has a bit of roughness but looks old and original to the piece.

Victorian Vtg Teal Aqua Cobalt Blue Pontil Glass Enamel Pitcher Ribbed Ruffled
This is a truly beautiful piece of glass. The color is between aqua and cobalt blue. The top is ruffled similar to Fenton pieces with ribbed lines running down the pitcher. The handle has been applied and is smooth to the touch. Most of the original gold gilt is gone and some of the enameled flowers. This pitcher doesn't really need all that to sparkle. There are no chips or cracks. It does have a few bubbles that have been there since it was made. This would be a great piece to add to any blue glass collection or blown glass. Pitcher is 10 1/2" tall. Base is 5" across, and the with from spout to edge of handle is 8" Paypal Only! Payment must be made within 48 hours! I am not an expert but I enjoy auctions. Beautiful Cobalt Blue glass Syrup pitcher with a lovely floral design hand painted on both front and back. The cobalt glass has an alternating indented panel design with the white flowers and green leaves makes it look like a wood fence. It has a silver plate lid. Neck and handle, or pewter, I am not sure) The glass is in excellent condition. Minuscule paint loss, no cracks, chips or visible flaws. The metal has been polished a lot and e lid shows plate loss, very slight bend in lid edge. Only marking found is the number 4 on the inside lid near the hinge. This is a spectacular Art Deco cobalt blue glass pitcher and glass set. Pitcher measures 8 3/4" tall. Glasses are just over 4" tall. Couple of very minor imperfections in the glass which you have to look very closely to see. I could not capture them in photos. This pitcher has a lightly ribbed clear glass applied handle. Beautiful Deep Cobalt Blue Pitcher Metropolitan Museum Of Art - not a new one!
This is an absolutely beautiful cobalt pitcher that is not brand new. Out of the box. My wife bought two of these(see emerald green one also listed) from an elderly couples sale. They were well traveled and according to them these were purchased years ago during their travels. We thought both pitchers were mint and have had them displayed and just today realized this blue one does have damage where the handle attaches at top. While wiping it clean for pictures I noticed in the crease on side where handle attaches it was not smooth in there and with a flashlight discovered a 1/4 inch long slender chip. Just above this chip is another(on the body) very small but it is there. These are not noticed unless you really look for them in the crease and use a flashlight, otherwise one would probably never know they were there. Very hard to find. But ... morenonetheless it is damage and needs to be addressed and the starting amount is reduced some. Also, a money back guarantee is provided. Please see pictures. One picture shows the pontil snap off mark on bottom with letter M sand blasted inside it. Another picture shows the crease where chips were found but I doubt that they are visible. This pitcher has both of the original labels in place. The pitcher is 9 3/4 inches high to top of handle and 7 1/2 inches wide at widest spot.
