Antique Silver Banded Amber Glass Lemonade Pitcher & Tumbler Set
Up for bid is an antique silver banded amber glass pitcher& tumbler set. I am not sure of the exact age. But it is very old, as referenced by the attached photos and shows expected signs of wear from age. I noted one manufacturing bubble in the pitcher and thinness on one side of the bottom from where it was lifted while being made. There is a small chip at the foot near this thin area. The silver banding on many of the tumblers has worn away. Otherwise this set is in very good condition for it's age. The pitcher stands 8" tall and is 7" at it's widest from handle to spout. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ENAMEL PAINTED KISSING BALL LEMONADE SET MISTLETOE PATTERN?
Up for auction is this beautiful victorian lemonade set. It is decorated with red paint boarder and red paint around the rim. There are enameled decorations and kissing balls. i believer the balls are mistletoe leaves with white balls and blue centers. It has an applied handle and the bottom is marked with a gold#85 on the bottom. I did picture it but it is hard to see.It is nice early glass with the uneven look of old glass. It is not quite round with a sort of paneled pattern to the glass. The pitcher measures 11 and 1/4" high. Unfortunitly it only has 3 glassses.They are beautiful. They measure 4" high adn 3" across the top. There are no chips or cracks in this set. I did not list a reserve. This is the prettiest set I have ever had.

Beautiful Victorian lemonade set. Green glass pitcher with ruffled edges. Gold gilt accents, and enamel flowers. Tumblers also have beautiful gilt edges and hand painted enamel flowers. Possibly Fenton or Northwood. There is no maker's mark. But the pitcher does have the number 931 etched into the base. Pitcher is roughly 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Glasses are roughly 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Most of the enamel is in very good condition on all of the pieces. There is significant wear to the gold. Particularly around the middle of the pitcher. There are some small bubbles in the glass of the pitcher. I've done my best to picture and describe everything. But if you have any additional questions, I will try to respond promptly.

This is a beautiful Victorian Antique Blown Glass and Hand Painted. Lemonade/Ice Tea, Large Pitcher and 6 matching glass Set. The tall glass pitcher is 13 1/2" tall, with a 4" opening at the top, and 5" across the bottom. It has a tall slender body, fanning out at the bottom. The air bubble are visible in it hand blown applied handle, which sets up high at the top of the mouth opening. It has a curvaceous pour spout, with heavy glass thickness to the piece. The glass is velvety smooth to the touch, and has a smooth pontil at the bottom. The center of the pitcher has a decorative band of bright gold design, accented in white dots. The thin line banding of gold carries on downward to the bottom of the piece, with the white accent dots. The glasses are a sleek design, which flare out slightly at the top, tapering inward, and flaring ... moreever so slightly back at the bottom. They are 6 1/2" tall with a 2 3/4" opening at the top, and 2" across the bottom. They have the matching design as the pitcher, with the thick gold band, and the thin lines all accented in white dots. Remarkably these pieces are free of chips, cracks and repairs. The only sign of age was the wearing on some of the gold banding in some areas more than others, due to age and wear. We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique water/lemonade set. The maker of this is unknown to us and there are no identifying marks on it. This is a beautiful shade of cobalt blue. The set appears to be mold blown and has seam marks on the pitcher as well as ribs. It is hand painted. The pitcher has a crimped top and an applied handle. The base has a smooth polished pontil on it. It stands approximately 9" high. The diameter across the top is approximately 4 1/8" from side to side and the diameter from the back to the outer edge of the pour spout is 4 5/8" The diameter across the base is approximately 4 7/8" The front panel has a beautiful display of hand painted pink and white flowers with stems and leafs. The top has abeautiful crimped top and it has an applied handle. The glasses have matching floral ... moremotifs and ribbing on the sides. There are no pontil marks on the glasses but there are a couple that have small"tails" on the sides. The glasses stand approximately 3.75" high. Lemons, for most folks in the country, were impossible to get. The concept of the 44 ounce lemonade would have been regarded as lunacy. These 4 inch tall tumblers would actually have been a little big for serving lemonade. It was the extreme in hospitality to have a pitcher of lemonade and a beautiful little glass for your guests. This lemonade pitcher is 12.5 inches tall and ruffled. The hand painting is enameled to the glass and the 7 pieces are perfect. Expect a very large box with a number of smaller boxes inside, as we make every efforts to get irreplaceable objects to you intact. If you are purchasing more than a single item. You are bidding on an antique silver banded amber glass pitcher& tumbler set. I am not sure of the exact age. But it is very old, as referenced by the attached photos and shows expected signs of wear from age. I noted one manufacturing bubble in the pitcher and thinness on one side of the bottom from where it was lifted while being made. There is a small chip at the foot near this thin area. The silver banding on many of the tumblers has worn away. Otherwise this set is in very good condition for it's age. The pitcher stands 8" tall and is 7" at it's widest from handle to spout. The pitcher is very weighty and has a ground and polished pontil. Some light wear under the base. it is deeply engraved with leaves and flowers. There is no damage to this. The glasses have some rim chips. One has a noticeable chip at the top as seen in the photos. Three others have some small ding at the top rim that could be easily repaired. The other two are in great shape. All the handles have been checked for damage and there is none. The clarity is very good on all the pieces. THE BOTTOM OF THE PITCHER IS MARKED(PAINTED) WITH THE NUMBER 1119. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS ON THE GLASSES. THERE IS A FILM ON THE GLASSES.THEY'RE DIRTY.BUT I AM NOT GOING TO CLEAN THEM. I WILL LEAVE THAT TO THE BUYER AS I DO NOT WANT TO TAKE THE CHANCE OF DAMAGING THE PAINT. THE PITCHER AND GLASSES ARE ACCENTED WITH GOLD GILDING. THE GUILDING IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE ON THE PITCHER. BUT SHOWS WEAR ON THE RIMS OF A COUPLE OF THE GLASSES. FIVE OF THE SIX GLASSES ARE HANDPAINTED WITH THE SAME FLOWER THAT IS FOUND OF THE PITCHER. ONE OF THE GLASSES HAS A DIFFERENT FLOWER ON IT. THAT PARTICULAR GLASS HAS A TINY"DING" ON THE INSIDE RIM. THERE ... moreIS A SMALLER"DING" ON THE LIP OF ONE OF THE OTHER GLASSES. THEY ARE VERY SMALL PLACES. SO ZOOM IN ON THE PICTURES TO VIEW THESE. THE PITCHER IS ALITTLE MORE THAN 9 1/2" TALL AND IS CLOSE TO 6" IN DIAMETER AT TEH RUFFLED TOP. THE GLASSES ARE 3 3/4" TALL AND 2 3/4" IN DIAMETER AT THE TOP. IT'S REALLY HARD FOR THE VIEWER TO SEE IN THE PICTURES. BUT THE GLASSES ARE VERY LIGHT-WEIGHT AND DELICATE.A REALLY NICE OLD SET! ANTIQUE BLUE GLASS HAND PAINTED LEMONADE SET PITCHER + 4 MATCHING GLASSES
You are viewing an absolutely GORGEOUS antique lemonade set. The pitcher and 4 matching glasses are blue glass. And they are hand painted in white and gold tones with a floral motif. The pitcher stands a substantial 12 inches i heights, and it has an applied glass handle and a ruffled top that is trimmed in gold. The glasses measure a little over 4 inches in height, and they are hand painted the same as the pitcher; they also have gold trim at the rims.
