We do not know if the clock/timer works. They most always need additional TLC. This is the original assembly that mounts on the top of the stove top backsplash. The chrome finish on this clock timer assembly and the S&P brackets is in good used condition, t here is slight wear on the top L&R sides of the chrome mounting plate where the porcelain salt& pepper shakers would sit and a few small flea bites on the front top'round over' the lettering is new. The white bakelite housing is bright white and shiny- the bottom sides of these bakelite plastic housings are most always crack and broken at the 2 attaching screw holes to the chrome base. We alway repair these as we did with this unit. We epoxy weld the piece with new bolts, nuts and washers. We epoxy the washers to the inner side to help reinforce the case.
