Offered is a cast iron stove eye lifter. These were used to lift the eyes. Or lids, on old cook and heating stoves, as well as agitate the ash grates. The embossing on the handle is too weak for me to read so I am unable to connect it with a particular maker or era. It's obviously an older piece. The lifter is about 8-3/4 inches long and weighs about 7 ounces. I can't find the slightest damage beyond light use marks and some surface roughness. Likely from the original casting. The end of lifting lug is about 7/8 by 3/8 by 1/8 inches, and tapers. These can sometimes be ground a bit to fit a particular eye. The square end is about 1/2 by 5/8 inches. These were sometimes used to adjust internal oven vents in cookstoves as well. I've posted lots of pictures so you can look it over. Offered is a cast iron stove eye lifter and shaker wrench tool. These were used to lift the eyes. Or lids on old cook and heating stoves. This piece is unmarked so I am unable to connect it with a particular maker or era. It has a bit of decoration indicating that it may have belonged to a more ornate parlor stove. It is obviously an older piece. The lifter is about 6-1/2 inches long and weighs about 5.2 ounces. I can't find the slightest damage beyond light use marks and some surface roughness. Likely from the original casting. The end of lifting lug is about 1/2 by 5/8 by 1/8 inches, and is slightly irregular. These can sometimes be ground a bit to fit a particular eye. What I'm calling a shaker wrench on the opposite end may actually be another sort of rod pulling tool.
