Pinder Bourne) trade mark and"BEAUTY" The base also has several patent dates that range from 1892-1894. The fuel tank or font is nickel plated and the adjustable wick knob is marked"Page Bros. Co. Boston. Mass. The chimney has three windows that are lined with mica. The stove stands 26' tall with a 14 3/4' diameter base. CONDITION: The stove will need a new wick. This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! Antique Laura Heater #316 Parlor Stove
Offering for auction. This coal burning Nickle plated parlor stove c.1880-1900. marked Laura Heater.316. It was used to heat a eight bedroom farmhouse in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Chimney is solid, there is some minor rust on the legs, but overall the stove is in good shape. The accessories include the crank to turn the fire, the handle for the hot plate on top of the stove and a pan that came out of the firebox. In addition, I have a floor register that apparently went to a bedroom upstairs and the metal tubing, rusty somewhat, that connected the stove with the register. The stove also has two(2) square zinc mats that the stove was placed on to catch ambers. The stove measures 75" high and 28" wide and 28" deep. It is very heavy, and comes apart in three sections. This Vintage PERFECTION 525M Kerosene Parlor Space Heater is in EX. working condition. In beautiful cosmetic condition. It has been repainted, I didn't do it, but they did a good job. There are a few very light spots of surface rust on the outside& on the inside there is a very light surface rust, more like patina, nothing to worry about. I have tested this heater& it works great. Puts out a warm glow, no odors other than that of a kerosene heater. The wick is in good shape, extends about 1" above the holder. There are no dents or damage that I notice. Offered is this fully functional antique large brass Kerosene Parlor Stove Heater. The font measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. Standing 5 inches tall. The overall height of the heater is 9 1/4 inches, weighing 4 pounds 1 ounce. This features a threaded fuel filler cap, a working fuel gauge and a wick adjusting knob that raises and lowers its 3 1/2 inch diameter wick. Raised lettering on top of flame spreader reads" PATENTED AUG.14.88 AUG.26.90 SEP T.9.90 JUNE.17.90 JUNE.16.91 JAN.5.98" This stove was well cared for and stored away clean. When found in the attic there was no soot or waxy deposits and someone even took the time to properly clean its wick. There is a crack in the side air screen that is not visibly intrusive and will not affect its heating performance(it is shown in detail on the last picture provided) There are also ... moreminor dings and dents from ordinary use. There is a bracket on each side of the font where a carrying handle can attach but we could not find the handle anywhere. There are no leaks in the font and no repairs. This is a working heater and also makes an awesome display piece.
