The few"freckles" you see where the clock sits are limited to the area that the clock/timer sits and are not seen when the clock and this trim is installed. There are no bends, dents, scratches- the metal integrity is excellent. The center 5.0"x1/2" piece of glass is not included, nor is any mounting hardware. This was removed from a stove that we purchased at an area auction. The seller had begun the restoration process. They had this and several other parts newly chromed. The 2 mounting hinges, screws and the underside stainless"horseshoe trim" is not inclused. We have reducd the price because there are a couple slight"pits" in the piece that were not(in our opinion) buffed/polished as nicely as they could have been. Please see these imperfections at the far rear right side of the top surface. They are barely noticeable from a couple of feet back, but never the less they are there- please see the last few close up photos to be certain you are OK with these details before making your purchase. We realize this may not work for everyone. However we believe there are others that would prefer a more affordable, perhaps slighty less"pristine" top for their cooking needs. Attached to our electrical and they do operate. The timers will still need additional work, and we always recommend re-wiring to be on the safe side. The porcelain enamel is in excellent condition, no chips, scratches or stains- the finish retains a gorgeous white shine. The chrome light shade has NEW CHROME. The clock/timer face plates are in very good condition. No peeling, wear or scratches. Both glass clock/timer crowns are in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The white plastic knobs are all present, they all work as intended. The clock ring have normal wear. Please note, do not purchase if you are expecting fully functioning working clocks and timers. It is our experience that most of these vintage beauties always seem to need some work as they are very old. We do not know if the clock/timer works. They most always need additional TLC. This is the original assembly that mounts on the top of the stove top backsplash. The chrome finish on this clock timer assembly and the S&P brackets is in good used condition, t here is slight wear on the top L&R sides of the chrome mounting plate where the porcelain salt& pepper shakers would sit and a few small flea bites on the front top'round over' the lettering is new. The white bakelite housing is bright white and shiny- the bottom sides of these bakelite plastic housings are most always crack and broken at the 2 attaching screw holes to the chrome base. We alway repair these as we did with this unit. We epoxy weld the piece with new bolts, nuts and washers. We epoxy the washers to the inner side to help reinforce the case. Stove has a clock. Salt& pepper shakers and an electric light. The white top closes to cover the burners or lifts to make a cooling shelf. The black thermostat is a replacement part.no white available at the time. This stove was used for our family meals until ten years ago.now, as needed, for only stove top cooking.
