Has the original parts& burner on the inside. Burner has all original caps and knob and handle and everything moves as it should. Even has the really cool cap with arrow on it that moves to show the kerosene level. Even the wick adjustment knob is detailed with a flower. Burner is empty with no cracks that we can see. It has all the metal emblems and embellishments that is should have as far as I can tell. Looks like everything is there and would probably work fine(my opinion) but I'm not an expert.There is only light surface rust as far we can tell and would paint up nice or left as is for that great patina look. The top of the unit opens where it would reveals the burner. This is just a great piece. Not seeing many dings or dents. Maybe a small on here or there. Handle is intact. Would look great in any home or store and we hope someone can put it back into use as intended! If you know any other history of this item or I have any details wrong. Perfection 525 M-1 heater
This very lightly used heater and represents one the last heaters made by Perfection. The heater comes with the original box and instruction manual. The revision date on the manual is 2/79. Production of the Perfection heater ceased in 1981. So this heater was made in the last two years of the production. As you can see in the photos. The unit is in very good condition. It appears to have only been used a few times. The original finish is still intact. There are just a few rusty fingerprints in the finish. The box is a little distressed but is still structurally sound. You will look a long time before you find a Perfection heater in better condition.

Has the original parts& burner on the inside. Burner has all original caps and knob and handle and everything moves as it should. Even has the really cool cap with arrow on it that moves to show the kerosene level. Even the wick adjustment knob is detailed with a flower. Burner is empty with no cracks that we can see. It has all the metal emblems and embellishments that is should have as far as I can tell. Looks like everything is there and would probably work fine(my opinion) but I'm not an expert.There is only light surface rust as far we can tell and would paint up nice or left as is for that great patina look. The top of the unit opens where it would reveals the burner. This is just a great piece. Not seeing many dings or dents. Maybe a small on here or there. Handle is intact. Would look great in any home or store and we hope someone can put it back into use as intended! If you know any other history of this item or I have any details wrong. ANTIQUE GAS STOVE PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL 525 EARLY 1900s COMPLETE NICE
This is an antique smokeless oil heater from the Early 1900s. It was found at an estate and had been stored for years. It does not have a wick. It does need a bit of cleaning and there is surface rust. I do not see anyplace where it has deep rust damage. I think a fine brillo pad would do the trick. As you can see I have in in the plants and it is adorable. It is possible it could be used on a porch or patio. It is antique so it is an"as is" purchase. I will not put fuel in it and then sell and ship.

Distance across at the top is 8 1/2" Wick riser works smoothly but the one currently installed is depleted. You will need to get a new wick.still very easy to find at a reasonable price. I have not personally lit this heater but it's all there& there was still kerosene in the tank( I have removed it for shipping) Someone has re-painted this heater& I do not know if it's heat resistant paint or not.
